Great host & staffs, makes the guest so comfortable. Really worth the money. Also the location is great as it’s between Auroville and white town. The place is Chinese theme based, it’s damn beautiful

Skandavan is a jewel for who seeks tranquility , peace and beauty . Much loving attention to details and in perfect harmony with the well kept garden . A place to easy get into a meditative mood . And yet by bicycle , motorbike or TukTuk it’s very easy to explore all what Auroville has to offer . The garden is spacious enough to have privacy also when other guests are there . The shared kitchen is another plus . The staff is very friendly and discreet and keeping the place well clean . Rekha and Michael are great hosts . I’ve been very happy there and I am looking forward to visiting again .

Very clean and neat. Provided clear Instructions for the short route to the location cos google maps shows the longer route. Very friendly and her responses are very quick which made it easy for us to plan our stay. Wish visit for a longer period of stay. Thank you.

The purpose of booking an Airbnb as against a hotel is to experience a home-like ambience and feel cozy, and Anup and Mehak exceeded our expectations! Not just we felt at home, we felt warm and welcomed all along. The hosts stayed in touch with us and called onto check a few days prior to the journey. They kept us posted about the to-do-lists in and around Pondicherry that were very helpful and time-saving for us! They have been responsive and served us special home-made sweets for Diwali alongside refreshing tea! I enjoyed the interaction that we had with them, and the exchange provided great insights about Pondicherry. The room service was great, and their hospitality is top-notch. We will highly recommend Mel Ville for family, couples or solo travellers, and affirm that you will feel at home, safe and taken care of by Mehak and Anup. I wish them a great success! Keep it going!

The guest house and the room was clean with attention given to th2 details. There was lovely foliage in the shared areas including a beautiful water feature with lotuses. In Geraldine, I also found a very gracious and helpful host! 

Ambala Ji Very Frank & Nice Person Over all experience is excellent. Staff, helpers all are friendly, descent, kind going in their service. Food was good. Amenities are good as per the resort charges. Beach view was excellent. Near to all places to visit from resort. Suggested resort for every one.

Stayed at Villa Helena twice and loved it each time. The room was gorgeous, clean and very spacious. On our first visit, there was a technical issue with AC which could not be fixed in the duration of our stay. Ms Geraldine and her staff very kindly shifted us to an XL room (which was even more beautiful!) and we were also compensated with free drinks from the bar. We really appreciated how quickly they made alternative arrangements to ensure we weren’t inconvenienced. Thank you for the great hospitality!

I loved my stay at Villa Helena! The place is well-maintained and quaint with refurbished interiors whilst still preserving the gorgeous, antique features of the villa. The rooms are very spacious, air-conditioned and cleaned regularly. Each room is so beautiful, with its own theme and colour. Villa Helena is also located in the centre of Town, so it was very convenient to walk everywhere. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would choose to stay here each time I visit Pondicherry :)

This place is exactly as described. Comfortable, central and walkable everywhere. It’s the staff that take it to the next level though. Sudha who looked after all the admin and checked us in and Steve who looked after us with breakfast and drinks really were amazing. All the other staff were polite and always smiling. I wouldn’t hesitate to return back here in a heartbeat. Great restaurants within walking distance. We booked three rooms and they were clean, clutter free and comfortable. My only feedback would be to install an exhaust fan to remove the damp smells in the bathroom in the corner room that we stayed in. Breakfast was awesome. It’s an easy 12min taxi ride from the airport.

Great location, the place is very quiet despite being located in the busy white town. The room was tastefully decorated and very well kept. Geraldine was very welcoming and a great host. The place is dog friendly. Will consider staying there again in the future as well.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation everything was super sweetly prepared and the breakfast which was included was also brilliant. There is also a good restaurant on the property. It can be noisy in the area at night, this is off the road and the animals in the area. Despite everything, a nice place to stay and to recommend.

I had a lovely stay with Geraldine. The rooms were clean, spacious and airy, the breakfast was exactly what I needed and she was very helpful in assisting me with local recommendations for transport etc. it is a unique and special property and I felt at home and relaxed. Would love to come back.

Our stay was fantastic! Maison Twenty-Six is a beautifully renovated 150 year-old house with exquisitely designed rooms that show great attention to detail. The staff was very attentive but never overbearing, and the garden was lovely. Everything was super clean. The location was perfect—right in the center of White Town, close to amazing restaurants, shops, and landmarks, yet incredibly peaceful. Highly recommend for an unforgettable experience.

Excellent decor, even better service.

I loved my stay at Tanto Beach— it was peaceful and relaxing, while also having all the basics I needed. The kitchenette was very sufficient for me to prep some basic meals since I have a lot of food restrictions, although I would have appreciated having some basic kitchen staples like oil and salt that most guests would use if using the induction. My favourite part by far was being able to take my morning cup of tea to the beach or sit in my balcony and hear the waves. I also felt very safe here travelling as a single woman, and i do imagine coming back some day.

The stay feels like a different world altogether. With pristine surroundings and aesthetic furniture, waking up here during my stay was a feeling I’d never forget.
