Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Progreso

Honest review: it's fair to say it was a fantastic stay. Amazing sunsets. The hosts were very responsive both before and during the stay. The place is down a long and narrow dirt road but once you get to the home, it's true paradise. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spread out, and there is plenty of room for parking. This home is truly steps from the Gulf and there's ample patio space. I loved the thatched roof area with the table, which had lights for the evening. Wifi was strong. Things to keep in mind (some of which are out of the owner's control): having a rental car is a must, it's down a long road that is a fair walk from main road. Air conditioning is present in every bedroom, but not the main living space/kitchen, which can get warm in hot weather even with the large ceiling fans. There is not much beach in front of the home, and barely any in neighboring properties - it's not an area where you can go for long walks on the beach. Rent this place for a quiet beach vacation!

The accommodation is very nice, it is a practically new house, very comfortable and with all the amenities.

Came for a girls trip and we had the best time. The house is nice and the ac in the rooms work well. We spent the entire trip by the pool and on the beach. The cabana is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee while soaking in the beach. We had someone cook for us while we were there and just ran to the store for snacks and anything we needed. Maria was easy to communicate with and assisted us with any request we had. This was the perfect beach getaway. I would definitely go back!

Excellent accommodation, super close to the Malecón Internacional, family atmosphere, the apartment super clean, the decor very well cared for, with air conditioning in both parts of the house, the bed is very comfortable. On the other hand Poncho has been an excellent host , he made sure we had the clear instructions, everything flowed wonder . Of course I would happily return to Poncho's place and highly recommend it.

A wonderful house, out of the way, great facilities, slightly odd (but unthreatening) neghborhood. Excellent chef and masseuse recommendations. Though pool cleaned once weekly, becsuse of gulls would have preferred a working filter system. Glad there was no television; it enhanced the peaceful nature of our stay. I’d definitely return!

Very cozy place. We spent a divine weekend in the company of my dogs, the place is totally pet friendly. Comfortable with a divine beach. Ale is always very available and friendly. I would definitely stay here many more times.

This is the second time I've stayed here for stays of more than a week and I'm always fascinated by the tranquility that the space offers, the beautiful landscapes and the very safe area to be and go for a walk, away from the hustle and bustle that much more crowded beaches offer. I highly recommend it if you want to spend a pleasant and very quiet restful day.

I loved this place, close to the beach, the apartments was very clean and well stocked kitchen, 20-25 min walk to town or quick with Uber , would definitely stay again !

Excellent place to stay, the place was super clean when we arrived, José gives you all kinds of information so you can get around to different parts of the city, the bedroom was very comfortable and had all the services available to us, there are also many places nearby to eat and buy things if you want to cook. It's the best choice to stay in this place

This was a lovely little place to stay! Pool was well-maintained and no one was out there until after noon, so we had the whole pool area to ourselves most of the day! Great restaurant/bar across the street with food, drinks, and entertainment. Lots of ex-pats in the area, so easy communication. I would stay here again or would recommend to my friends and family,

Beautiful secluded place great for respite. Very nice family with the parents next door who are wonderful people. Uber is available sometimes it takes 20 minutes to get there so plan accordingly to head into Progresso for restaurants and shopping & groceries.

This place was wonderful, and I look forward to staying again in the near future! It had everything that we needed, and our host was extremely proactive about anything we had questions about in the area, as well as information related to checking in and checking out, so we could make the most of our stay. She was also able to take care of a few rowdy neighbors who were partying too loud, and that was very nice to experience because not all hosts do that.

nice condo for two, very clean, safe, good location and quiet, share swimming surrounded by tropical plants. This unit is on the ground floor facing the pool, kitchen has all the basic utensils you needed, will recommend!

Luis's place exceeded our expectations! It was well decorated and comfortable with a beautiful pool and outdoor spaces. Luis was friendly and helpful too.

We really enjoyed our stay in Puerto Progreso at Alexis' flat. The flat has a stunning view, is spacious and is exactly as advertised. The parking spot dedicated to the flat was very helpful. Interacting with Alexis was very nice and easy. It's a good place to stay at and discover the hidden gem that Puerto Progreso is.
