We just stayed for one night, because we had a long drive and really enjoyed the apartment. The garden is amazing and it has everything you need.

What an incredible stay! This little farmhouse in Prince Albert was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning scenery and peaceful surroundings. The house itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay feel truly special. Waking up to breathtaking views, enjoying the tranquility of the countryside, and unwinding in such a charming and well-kept space was just perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking again. Highly recommended!

Loved this AfriCamps. Very close to town, but feels very private and peaceful. Everything from check in to instructions was clear. I would highly recommend this space. Very neat and clean.

Lovely home close to the main road and all the restaurants. Spacious rooms, the kitchen has a 6 seater table, perfect for a family coffee get together. it is a quiet setting with peaceful outlook onto an orchard . Very clean and well maintained! Very enjoyable farm stay with a very friendly and hospitable family, surrounded by beautiful nature. The house is not big but comfortable and has anything you need for a short break. Especially loved the hot tub, which the hosts kindly fired every night for me - what pleasure to relax in hot water and admire the night sky full of stars! Louis and his family are such open, friendly and hospitable people - it is a privilege to have been given an opportunity to be their guest. The farm is not far from Oudtshoorn and is easily accessible, I was given clear instructions and had no problem at all finding the place. Great stay overall.

The location is out of the way of our usual drive to the Suid-kaap, but with our baby boy we decided to do a stopover and drive through the valley. Can't believe we have not done it sooner. It's a piece of paradise. As heritage lover, the restoration work of the buildings on the farm are incredible, and there's an old mill with original parts. The cottage ('Old Barn') we stayed in, is so well maintained, cosy and kitted with everything you need. In the morning the chickens came to say 'hi' and we fed them some of the seeds that were provided in the cottage (they might have been meant for the birds, but the chicks were very convincing). Thank you for the lovely stay.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, Marlese's warm hospitality made me feel right at home. She was incredibly accommodating and ensured that everything was perfect for my visit. Marli was also quick to respond to my messages, which made the whole experience even more seamless. The unit itself is pure luxury—well-equipped and spotless. The en-suite bedroom is super comfortable, and waking up to the breathtaking views over the pear and apple orchards was a highlight of my trip. The peaceful surroundings and mountain backdrop create the perfect escape from city life. I also felt completely safe and secure throughout my stay, which added to the overall comfort and relaxation. The kitchen had everything I needed, and the braai area on the patio was the perfect spot to unwind. If you're visiting the area, this is an absolute must-stay! I will definitely be returning the next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!

What you may feel is missing in luxury in the old farm house is more than made up for with the luxurious peace of the space and Adri's hospitality and generosity of spirit. She is a fantastic host and will make sure you are well looked after during your stay. The house is exactly as described in the listing and has everything you need for a comfortable stay plus little extra touches from Adri and her team. Make sure to visit Adri's Plaaskind Padstal for a roosterkoek breakfast or an afternoon tea with home-baked cakes to die for (the cheese cake, carrot cake and lemon meringue were our favourites!) Adri knows the area very well and has lots of recommendations depending on what you are interested in.

Amazing stay with Cheryl and Paul. They were so friendly and inviting - they came out to greet us personally on arrival and went above and beyond with extra little touches of hospitality. We will definately be back for another visit when we are in the area. Only thing to note is the dirt road, although in great condition and very smooth (like a highway in our 4x4), may not be enjoyed as much by some people in small or low cars.

Had a wonderful short stay at Brendan’s farm. The location and surroundings are simply beautiful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat.

Absolutely stunning place, even better than we expected and a highlight of our first week-long road trip with our two small kids. The house was charming, the views were incredible, the stars were gorgeous. My kids loved wandering through the veggie tunnel and tasting the herbs and lettuce. Gill offered an affordable, delicious dinner made with fresh ingredients from their veggie tunnel and eggs laid by their chickens, and went “off-menu” to prepare my kids ready-to-toast cheese sandwiches - this was a HUGE plus after a long day of travel. They included my kids in the morning chicken feed and did everything they could to make us feel at home.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Sandra’s place, wished we had booked for longer. The place was clean and well furnished, with many thoughtful supplies such as basic BBQ supplies. Even though we had some initial difficulty in getting to the accommodation due to road conditions, Sandra and her husband were quick to respond and assist. The perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and to experience off-the-grid living. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience. The house was situated on farmland and we felt so at peace. Lookout for their lovely dogs, the small dachshund definitely was our favourite!! The place was kept tidy and the gave us all nessecary necessities. Thank you for having us, we will definitely come visit in the future.

We loved staying at PurePlaas. It was perfectly peaceful and private. Sonja was a great host and we loved chatting with her. We also loved her 2 beautiful, friendly dogs! The space had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We could have easily spent a week or more there. We will definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Piglets Cottage. The location is so beautiful with the ponds & the mountains as a backdrop. Louise is the perfect host - she loaned us some binoculars for our stay. The cottage is close to some nice walks & to Wilderness. We checked out the cheesecake at the local country store - don't miss it. We will definitely be back to Piglets on our next visit & will plan a longer stay.

We had a lovely stay celebrating a friend's birthday. One suggestion would be to equip the kitchen with a few more platters and larger serving bowls to enable cooking and serving larger groups of people. Also perhaps some lamps in the lounge to create more ambience. It was either very bright lights while eating at the dining table / sitting in the lounge or in the dark with just the kitchen lights as lighting. Other than that we had a lovely stay and highly recommend your establishment for a comfortable stay for large families.

Without a doubt great value for money. We stayed in the River tented accommodation (Number 5) and it was amazing. Cozy and warm with a beautiful bath tub and situated right on the river. So much to do for kids on the property from feeding animals, bass fishing, playground, hikes, not to mention very close to Cango caves, orstich farm and the Cango crocs. My only regret was not staying longer! Stop looking and just click pay now....Trust me. nothing better than this in the area. get a tented camp on the river or one in the mountain side....you won't be disappointed .

Stay here! Absolutely beautiful location, Elanda was SO helpful and welcoming, even after we arrived later than expected. The house has everything you need and lots of space. I would 100% come back and recommend!

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Kliphuis. We could switch off and relax from the moment we got there. The directions and self-checkin worked very well. The house had everything we needed, even an ice machine. As our host Jacques was not expecting any guests on the day of our departure, he offered that we could stay an extra night if we wanted to, and of course we did! It felt as if we were in the middle of nowhere, we did not see other people for our whole stay. Although the place is quite remote, its very safe and there is cellphone reception. The huge stoep with comfy coaches on wheels and one of them hanging, was such a highlight. We sat on the stoep almost the whole day enjoying nature, birdlife in/around the river below, and the amazing view of the starts at night. We were woken up by 4 owls on the stoep on our last morning, what a treat for birders. We were also fortunate that there was water in the river during a hot December.

This place is absolutely stunning surrounded by lush greenery with breathtaking views all around. Adorable furry friends joined us on our morning walks, and the outdoor shower was such a unique and refreshing experience. I will definitely revisit this place.

Peter is an awesome and gregarious host. He is very knowledgeable on a wide variety of topics, both local and global and holds an intelligent conversation. He has a great sense of humor and is very hospitable. The place is set in a kloof with awesome hills, water and bush around and is very tranquil. It is well worth travelling the dirt road till 11km outside Calitzdorp. Great value for money
