We had a lovely weekend away at A’s place. The house was easy to find, had good and private parking and was very spacious (bigger than it looks on the photos!). The beds were really comfortable and the living room was super cosy. The kitchen was also great and had every item you would need for self catering. The cleanliness of some of the glasses, plates and pans was not 100% and we did need to hand-wash a few items - I think this could be due to the dishwasher. The pool was great, we visited in January in the snow and were able to swim every day. A was super friendly and informative at check-in and gave us some local recommendations. Thanks for having us!! :)

Place is very nice and all required things available for a pleasant stay. Host Yasmin is very friendly and takes care of all the requirements of the guest. Room is big and we enjoyed the stay with family. Local shop and bus stop in walking distance. Cheshire oaks just 15 minutes away. The area surrounding the property is posh and beautiful. Absolutely beautiful home - rooms and outside space was so much bigger than we expected! We stayed for a hen party, and the space was exactly what we needed. Host responded very quickly and even popped in when we needed some extra bits. Pool was a lovely touch, easy to use and warm enough for a late dip even on a cold April evening! Thank you!

What a wonderful host, and magical place. It was such a lovely time, we’ve booked to come again. Mike is a treat, a remarkable character who exudes a warm that makes you feel instantly at home. The barn is full of charm and the chickens, ducks and peacocks a delight (especially if you see them angling for a biscuit from Mike!) The pool is incredible. Perfect for all ages. We’re half visiting again in the hope the kids will be bored of the pool and we’ll be able to get out and explore more… I don’t hold out too much hope on that one. A real gem of a find.

Delanie couldn’t have been more helpful. We arrived to an amazing welcome hamper and balloons for my sister in laws 30th. The house was lovely. The bar and pool area were just wow!! We spent the whole day by the the pool Saturday. It was lovely and warm and so relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay x

Exactly what we needed for a night away for a wedding. Usmaan was helpful and flexible and made our stay much easier. The house is definitely home from home vibe! It was brilliant for all age groups and would definitely return. The house is absolutely spotless, even had hoover lines in every room. Adam is a great host and communicates back promptly. I would 100% recommend staying here! The hot tub was a hit for all the family too!

We booked this house as my Son will be starting work with BAE. We could not believe how close it was to BAE. The house was spotless and on a great link to the bus to Preston, just over the road. Morrisons shop, again 3 minutes walk away. There is a Pub next door but unfortunately was going through a refurbishment so we didn’t get to try the food etc. The garden was well kept as well. The only observation I can make is, it could do with bigger bath towels which on the whole was not the end of the world to us. Over all a great little house. We were very pleased with it.

Great stay at Riversleigh, everything we needed and more! Hosts were very responsive, friendly and flexible. Would absolutely book a stay with them again. Entry and exit was a breeze. House was well equipped with everything needed for our stay, we didn’t use but house also has a packable crib and high chair for anyone travelling with small children. Location is great, close to Lytham St Anne’s, motorways and not far from Blackpool but far enough to be much more quiet and in an idyllic setting. Several options for food within walking distance. Closest supermarket under 10 mins car drive away. If travelling for BAE, house is as close as you can get.

The place was perfect for our stay. We are a group of 7 school friends from all over the UK and USA who get together at different places in England every year. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom which we have never managed before! The place was spotless and in a great location - 10 minutes walk from the train station. We also appreciated the lovely garden as we had the most wonderful weather! Would highly recommend. Thanks for hosting us.

We had a fantastic weekend staying in this property. We were attending a football match at the Etihad and it was a short 10 minute walk from the house. Absolutely perfect for what we wanted, would 100% book in here again if we ever return to watch Man City in the future.

Great house - all equipment needed and really comfortable beds. Just stayed one night but would definitely stay again if coming to the area.
