Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Praia da Rocha

Just back from a lovely few days staying at Ana Maria and Jorge's cottage, who are such kind and friendly hosts. Well equipped, very comfortable and clean and just what we needed for a peaceful few days resting and exploring the Algarve. Going out and about in a hire car, we especially enjoyed visited historic Silves, swimming in the sea at Portimão and the Sunday church service at São Bartolomeu de Messines Church. Highly recommended!

A Perfect Family Getaway in Lagos! We recently spent a week at this beautiful villa in Lagos with our family, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spacious and immaculately clean the property was. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, whether inside the villa or out by the pool. The highlight for us was definitely the pool area—it offered a stunning view that made every morning coffee and evening swim feel like a luxury experience. The outdoor space was peaceful and well-maintained, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. Ursula, our host, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. The location was great too—quiet and private, yet just a short drive from the beaches and town centre. We felt completely at home and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Absolutely loved our stay at the villa. The house is amazing and the gardens are out of this world! Brilliant location for families as it’s really quiet but within walking distance to the town. The house is so clean - everything was spotless.

Asa’s home is a great spot for a family vacation, it is very comfortable, located in a peaceful complex with a beautiful pool and in close proximity (walking distance) to a beautiful beach. The children enjoyed the home so much as it also had a small playground next door to the house. There were two other areas also within a walking distance with restaurants and other beaches. All in all greatly recommended. Thank you for the beautiful visit. 🤍

The house was the perfect location for my friend's bachelor party! The house itself was beautiful, great view of the ocean and golf course from the roof, and the pool and hot tub complete the experience. One of the beds did not have sheets or pillow cases on arrival, but otherwise it was a very pleasant experience!

We were 12 people who came together (ranging from 3- 89 years old), from across the globe and we all had a wonderful stay. It was perfect. The areas (inside and out) were large enough for us to gather together as a group, and the house was spacious enough that people could retreat to their room or area should they want to break away for some alone time. We cooked big dinners, spent hours in the pool, and played games at night. The grounds were private, filled with beautiful bougainvillea, geraniums, and hibiscus plants. There is plenty of sun and shade (outside) and ACs in the bedrooms. I would say the pictures don't do the home justice. The rooms are larger in person. The hosts were readily available to help with finding things in the home or with recommendations for things to do in the area.

This is a great villa in a great location, about 3km from the centre of Carvoeiro. If you like walking it's only about 30 min walk to the town or you could get a €5 Uber. There are a few restaurants and a small supermarket very nearby. The villa ... wow ... we couldn't fault it. We felt right at home. It was furnished lovely, had everything you needed and was spotlessly clean. Our recommendation is no need to have pool heated if temps have been 25+. We didn't bother and it was cooler at the start, but like a bath at the end of the 2 weeks.

Absolutely loved this airbnb. In a prefect walkable location, and easy to drive to with parking. The apartment was gorgeous with everything we needed. Highly recommended

Leslie is a lovely host. She was extremely helpful, supported us with local tips, eg with the local car rental. Her place is calm and beautiful. I loved the beaches close to the house. Just amazing!

Cláudia is such a kind and warm Person. We immediately felt at home. The Interieur is lovely and detailed, the view is stunning. She was very easy to reach if questions came up and super helpful with recommendations. We felt very welcome and will surely come back :) - the Cats were a super cute plus. This was an incredible stay! The cleanest air bnb I have ever stayed in. Host was very friendly and kind and accommodating, great walkable area. Very quiet and comfortable. AC in the unit, all the amenities!

Very nice, available and responsive, Laurie has always been there if needed. The accommodation is very nicely furnished and very functional. The roof top, a pure wonder to enjoy the view, the sunset during an aperitif, a dinner... Private garage for easy parking on a street where all spaces are quickly used. We had a wonderful few days at Monica’s Blue holiday home. This was our third Airbnb in Portugal and was by far the nicest and cleanest stay on our trip. Monica was there to great us on our arrival and she answered all our questions about the apartment and the surrounding area. She is a lovely person and we enjoyed meeting her. It is very obvious that she is a super host!! We appreciated the sunny patio and we loved the morning beach walks and all the many bars and restaurants in the area. Would have loved to stay longer and would highly recommend Monica’s place!!

We had a great week at Samuel's house. Everything was impeccable: impeccable cleanliness, warm welcome, and very quiet location, perfect for resting. The bedding is quite firm, which may not suit everyone, but it remains a matter of personal preference. Thanks again for our stay!

Cristina was very helpful and very responsive. Apartment is spacious and comfortable. Very beachy!. Great for a get away in the Algarve. Way less busy than Lagos or Portimao. Lots of great restaurants.

We had a fantastic stay at Susana’s place. The accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean (very happy to let my little one crawl around on the floors it was so clean!). Much bigger than the photos. Pool area was very peaceful. Lots of amenities without being cluttered. Well stocked kitchen and generous welcome pack. Restaurants and beautiful beaches within walking distance. Great communication and very helpful host. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great villa very close to shops and beach. Host had very good communication. Jets in hot tub didn’t work during our stay and when the gardeners come they were very loud but overall a great stay and would go again! Building a villa next door but was not in anyway noisy and host told us before we confirmed the booking.

We spent 10 days at the villa. It's located in a lovely quiet suburb, with a very easy drive into Portimao town and the marina. The villa is very comfortable, spacious and the pool is beautiful - no chlorine! The views over the hillside are lovely, you do feel you are in a rural setting yet it's just 20 minutes into the town. We would highly recommend.

Craig is an amazing host, always here to help, very discreet, extremely responsive and flexible and super nice. His house was perfect for us as we stayed as 2 families, very well equipped, with multiple places to chill and relax as the day goes by, the pool is sensational and just perfect with kids. The lightings at night is great, we love the house and its garden. thanks so much Craig for this amazing stay.

Exceptional setting, quality home with hosts with onions (French expression😂! ) We are fortunate not to have shared the facilities because we were almost alone on the premises: Hammam, Jacuzzi, Massage , pool , Sauna 😍 The Villa is isolated from the rest of the city but ⚠️ be careful there are 2 or 3 additional lodges. In any case Mitchel and Selina are really great, respond quickly to the group's questions, adapt very quickly too and are smiling and full of nice little touches: breakfast several times, welcome beers etc ... Thanks again And I can't wait to come back in a few years to see the improvements that have been made to this little corner of heaven 🥰

We had a few days here and it was amazing, felt at home from the minute we walked in, we was with our 2 boys (13 & 10) and they had so much fun here as well as space for themselves when it was needed. The villa had everything, was exactly like the photos and is a great place to stay - you will need a car to get anywhere the nearest town was about 10-15 min away. Will definitely go back if we get the chance again. Loved it!! Thank you ❤️❤️

We had a very enjoyable stay at Casa Lola. The pool and garden area is amazing and the house interior is tastefully furnished. A true home from home. It’s a great option for those looking for a bigger property with a good sized pool where being right next to the beach isn’t a must. The location worked well for us - lots of things to do in easy striking distance and the roads are a cinch to drive / towns easy to navigate. Would thoroughly recommend

The location of this home is unbeatable. Literally next to the beach, but you feel private the entire time. We appreciated all of the different sections of the outdoor space— especially the bar stools by the balcony to watch the dogs on the beach and the full al fresco kitchen! So much to do nearby and we highly recommend as an ideal spot for anyone visiting the Algarve. Thank you!
