Holiday rentals with beach access in Praia da Rocha

We felt very comfortable in Luna's apartment and it fulfilled our purpose of resting.

Cannot recommend enough, Peggy and Rupert were extremely responsive, polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The apartment was pristine, as described and in a good location with some really special beaches nearby (15 min walk) From setting up car hire, to restaurant recommendations and parking info, Peggy made everything simple. The apartment was well stocked with all the things you'd need, my only regret was that I didn't have time to finish the book I borrowed off the shelf! We would come back, thanks so much!

Beautiful and modern apartment. Everything was clean and impeccable. Communication with Jonathan was great and straightforward. An information brochure will be sent via WhatsApp with a recommendation. For example, shopping, market, various restaurants, leisure activities, hospital, etc... There is nothing missing and it was perfect for us as a couple. Thank you Jonathan for your support, we will be happy to come back.

Recently I stayed in Mena's apartment for a week in honor of a birthday and I recommend everyone to book this apartment. The view is great to start your day and the area has plenty to do. Take a boat trip, go to the beach or visit a delicious fish restaurant. You can also easily travel to surrounding cities with your own car or public transport from Fortaleza. You can also see the fort with a beautiful view. Our flight arrived in the middle of the night and after the transfer it was even later, but Mena kept waiting for us, had already gotten breakfast for the next day and even took the trouble to explain the area to us. I felt burdened because it was already so late, but Mena is a real pro and took her time. Her husband was also very friendly at reception. You are right by the sea, so despite warm temperatures, it is good to do because of the sea wind that often stands and the apartment has air conditioning. Absolutely a place to come back!

Joana is an exceptional host and her place has so much charm and character. We immediately felt at home in her peaceful retreat. Joana stocked the refrigerator and provided a welcome basket with all kinds of treats which was so kind. The house was so cute and comfortable, had all we needed and we enjoyed the luxury of a private pool. The house is conveniently situated to Old Town and we were able to walk there & to the Ponta da Piedade boardwalk hike. Thank you Joana for sharing your spectacular home with us and we totally recommend your place to others!

Probably the loveliest and cutest holiday rental I have stayed in - actually wished we could have spend more down time in the flat, but there is just a lot to do in Algarve! Everything looks just like in the pictures and Carlos and Eileen have thought of everything guests might need. The highlight is definitely the green garden with the outdoor bathtub. The kitchen is also really well equipped. Carlos and Eileen provided an incredibly detailed virtual guide, which included instructions on how everything works in the flat (including video instructions on how to operate the coffee machine, blinds, etc), as well as loads of great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The bed is up below the ceiling, so it does get a little bit hotter there than in the rest of the flat, but with the aircon (which worked well and pretty quietly) it's totally fine.

The place was lovely, clean and in the heart of old town Lagos. Perfect location. All the recommendations provided by Gerry were spot on - from the food to the beaches. The highlight of our stay at the beach house was when we were able to sit on the rooftop and watch the fireworks celebrating Portugal day. Our host was extremely responsive and friendly. Highly recommend this beach house.

Our stay at Casa Bombarda was the highlight of our trip—both the unit and Lagos completely exceeded our expectations. The home is absolutely beautiful, with three stunning outdoor spaces, including a rooftop patio where we enjoyed ocean views and unforgettable sunsets. Luis was a fantastic host—great with communication, full of helpful recommendations, and always quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. The unit is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and cleaning, which made our stay incredibly comfortable and convenient. The location is ideal: a short walk to the heart of old town and close to amazing restaurants, shops, and beaches. Casa Bombarda went well above and beyond what we hoped for. We’ll always remember our time here and will be recommending it to everyone we know!

We absolutely loved our stay at Mónica and Carlo’s place! We were so close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. There was so much to do within a few minutes walk. The house was even better than the pictures and Monica and Carlo’s reached out throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, great house and hosts. Would love to come back again!

Just had a 12 day break at Villa Charme and it was a dream stay. Pictures don’t do the Villa justice. Beautiful pool that the kids (young and old) loved and lots of outdoor space. Fernando was a wonderful host - friendly and knowledgeable and always available to help. We absolutely recommend a stay here - you won’t be disappointed. Lynette

Fabulous location! Beach, amazing boardwalk, and town very near, just lots of stairs! But that is beautiful Portugal! Views from porch were fantastic; everything you needed was in the kitchen and it was a very welcoming place. We didn’t use the pool, but it is a good size and well maintained. Master shower is a bit tight, but a big beautiful bath is 5 steps away, so really no big deal. I would definitely book here again if the opportunity arises!

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, art-filled, spacious apartment centrally located, with a charming terrace. We felt right at home. Definitely recommend.

Very warm welcome and a very nice apartment where we felt at home. We didn't miss anything. The apartment is also very central and yet quiet. Everything is within walking distance. We especially thank Elaine and Stephen for a stocked fridge, all the other amenities as well as for the wonderfully warm communication. We will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ana’s place. The location is perfect! Beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores are all just minutes away by foot. It’s also centrally located within the Algarve region, so if you have a rental car, you can plan on all kinds of amazing things to do and places to see. Her place also has some extras that made our stay perfect…a water cooler for refilling water bottles, a washing machine and a separate dryer, a soft-sided cooler with ice packs, beach towels, and a view of the ocean! Ana is an excellent host! She answered any and all questions quickly. We can’t wait to go back in the future!
