Julie is a remarkable host in terms of her hospitality, kindness and availability. She always has a smile on her face. The house is very clean, impeccable bedding and many accessories in the kitchen The place is quiet, the pool is large enough to guarantee nice swims The hot tub and petanque court add a pluses to this rental I highly recommend this place. It is about 2 hours from the ocean, 1.5 hours from the Poitevin marsh.

Very beautiful house. Very nice! There is a lot in the kitchen and Melanie is right next door if needed! Melanie has prepared a book with all the activities / info to have that is very well done! A country home! The garden is perfectly enclosed, it was perfect with our dogs!

Anne & Ray worked tirelessly to make our stay enjoyable and perfect for what we needed. We had our toddler (who took a shine particularly to Anne-thanks for letting Pip feed the chickens Anne!) and they were kind enough to provide a paddling pool, high hair, cot, etc but also perfect recommendations for things to do that not only worked for our littlun but also for our sensibilities. It’s a tough gig hosting 3 gites with 3 different family’s needs but Anne & Ray did it with aplomb (I should say, you feel very much like you are in your own secluded gite although I believe they can be combined for bigger parties if required) the pool is idyllic and the facilities are many for all ages, shapes and sizes. Perfect family getaway, thanks guys!x

We loved our time at Orchard cottage. Emma and Tim went above and beyond to welcome us, offer tips on good locations amd even offered to run us up to a local wine tasting. We were able to enjoy some "down time" relaxing in the beautiful garden, using the pool and reading in the hammock. And we also visited 4 local chateaux. We particularly enjoyed our day in Saumur. I highly recommend this venue for a fabulous experience of rural countryside and visits to some of the beautiful chateaux that the Loire region has to offer.

At the top of the top,👍 I recommend atypical accommodation, it feels like the little house on the prairie… the birds sing in the morning, we love it. The little cafe with the sunrise 🌅 12 minutes from Puy du Fou 😝

We had a great long weekend in the cottage, which was well equipped and clean. Thomas is very attentive, accommodating, and was able to advise us on beautiful visits. The environment of the house is really idyllic, with the river just opposite. It was a chance to be able to take advantage of the kayaks to explore further... And the pool made the children happy.

Due to the beauty of the place, the quality of the hospitality, the professionalism coupled with the kindness of our hosts we had a great time, I highly recommend this beautiful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the farmhouse, at La Blatiere. If you want to be off the beaten track in a very pretty and relaxing location, this is ideal, whilst there are also plenty of places to visit within an hour or so. The pool was also a big plus, which we used every day. The roads are very quiet with no traffic. We visited local places and also had chilled days 'on site' so the pool, the bikes to borrow and the games room were fun additions to have. The accommodation was very comfortable and well equipped. a little gem that seduced us all, young and old in a quiet little village. What to visit nearby, enough to rest in this quiet place to have fun thanks to the pool and also thanks to the nearby outings, enough to eat and drink thanks to the different restaurants in the area (for adorable prices), enough to marvel at the shooting stars at night... in short, a refreshing vacation thanks to great people, good advice and concerned about our well-being thank you again and we hope to see you soon

I booked this place last minute for a few days, and despite his absence Cedric arranged for it to be possible. The house is ideally located, free parking 100 meters away to leave the car and the center of Vouvant a 3 minute walk away. I enjoyed the garden, the terrace and the calm, the presence of the 2 cats of the house , especially a very hug. Cédric sent us very clear explanatory photos and videos about his place and the access , it was great and was very accommodating for checkout. I recommend this place and would be happy to come back.

We had a great weekend in this charming tastefully renovated house. On the occasion of a wedding in the area, we were able to settle very easily in this accommodation perfectly suited to a family, including with young children. The house is well-equipped, comfortable and warm and the garden is very nice. A real favourite for us and our daughter, who is delighted to discover a beautiful collection of children's books. An address that we keep and recommend without hesitation.

Staying for a week in this gîte was perfect for our family. Wonderfully equipped house and beautiful gardens and pool. We all had a lovely time. Lucy and Peter was so helpful and responsive, but also juat left us to it to e joy our holiday. Thank you - we would love to stay again!
