We booked with Malika because we wanted an authentic home stay experience in a quiet, rural setting and we found exactly this and more! From the moment we were handed a delicious, ice-cold, homemade lemonade on arrival, Malika made us feel like part of her family. Our 3 days with her were some of the best of our trip. The cabana is beautiful and rustic but still very comfortable with good facilities. There's no AC but we slept really well under the mosquito net and fan. The location is great - 3 mins walk to the beach (it's not safe to swim there) and in a quiet corner of Panama village. We spent our days walking on the beach and exploring the friendly village. Our evenings were spent chatting with Malika in her kitchen as she prepared the most delicious rice and curry dinners. Malika also arranged a safari for us to Kumana national park. We invited her and her family to join us and it was a very special day out Thank you for everything Malika! We had the best time & we'll miss u

had a very nice stay. location is perfect nearby restaurants/cafe's, still quiet and at the beach. it was a little bit warm but the fan helped.

We had a really great stay at Adam’s place just before the proper surf season started in arugam bay. The property is a walkable distance from the main strip of arugam bay making it a nice retreat from the hustle and bustle but also easily accessible. Adams dog is extremely cute and we were very well looked after by Adam’s friend rozan !

Laura and her staff are very friendly people. I especially liked the fact that we were able to have great conversations with her on the large terrace where we could learn a lot about the area. I loved reading on Laura's deck and cuddling with her cat. Laura was always approachable and helpful! Her house is beautiful. There was daily maid service in the room. We really enjoyed our stay, we wanted for nothing.
