The log cabin has beds for two. Electricity + heating. Well-equipped kitchen. No running water. The hosts provide drinking water for the kitchen. Fireplace. Washing in the sauna; usage shifts are agreed with the hosts. The hosts use other buildings. Additional charge for the hot tub: €80

Small cottage on the shore of a beautiful lake in Posio

A small cottage and a separate guest room for 5 people on the shore of pure-water Karkujärvi, only 5 km from the center of Posio. There is no running water or mains electricity in the cottage. Drinking water is brought with you and other washing water can be pumped from the lake. The cabin has a solar panel/battery system for lighting and, for example, charging phones. This cottage is an ideal choice for those who crave peace, closeness to nature and a simple cottage life. The rent includes free use of the canoe and rowboat.

The beautiful surroundings offer wonderful outdoor opportunities - the ski trail to the nearby hills starts from the yard, the adjacent lake allows ice fishing, in the summer you can hike and pick berries in the nearby hills, a rowing boat is waiting on the school beach. Saatat ehkä nähdä poroja suoraan mökin pihalla. Tarjoamme kesäkaudella (toukokuusta elokuuhun) käyttöönne kaksi SUP-lautaa, veneen ja kalastusvälineet. Linens (sheet, duvet cover, pillowcase) and towels are not included in the rent, they must be brought to the cottage yourself. Or you can rent them from me for an extra fee €25/person. Toilet paper and paper towels are available at the cottage. The rental includes 1 bag of firewood.
