Tent holiday accommodation in Portugal

Marten’s place was by far our favourite air bnb stay to date! The location was almost too good to be true. The tent is set in the middle of a nature reserve and you really feel like you are the only people for miles. It was beautiful, peaceful and very romantic. Watching the sun set over the dunes on an evening was perfect. Then just a short walk through dunes and you’re on a fantastic beach!! Marten left extra special touches that we really appreciated- a bottle of wine on arrival and some candles to light by the tent as the sun went down. There is a toilet, hot shower and kitchen located towards the main house which were great. We cooked here a couple of nights and found we had all the amenities - pots, pans, plates, burner etc. Marten was a fantastic host. The place was clean comfy and we even got extra blankets incase we got cold (we didn’t!). He was great at offering expert advice on which beaches were best for surfing etc. We will be back!

O lugar é realmente especial , uma paz infinita, pra quem busca se conectar com a natureza e ter momentos de lazer. A tenda é incrivel, super confortável e Natascha é uma anfitriã maravilhosa. Voltaremos com certeza 🥰🥰🥰

We hadden een mooie tent met prachtig uitzicht. De tenten staan ver uit elkaar, dus heel veel privacy. Het is een hele relaxte fijne camping. Een aanrader 😄

Tres bon séjour ! Très accueillant, c'est un plaisir d'avoir pu dormir dans le jardin de João ! L'environnement est très reposant, très bon endroit pour déconnecté des grandes villes. Nous nous sommes déplacée qu'en bus ou a pieds ! On nous a laisser de quoi faire un petit dejeuner ! Tres belle expérience ! Encore merci !

Beautiful stay. Filled with lots of beautiful things. I felt so looked after and I had some asks which the hosts looked after no problem. They seem very authentically kind and caring. It was a perfect for me to stay. Beautiful night stays, lovely outdoor kitchen to cook in and enough space to be alone but also to interact with other lovely guests if you want to.

Sehr schöne gepflegte Anlage! Das Zelt war super gemütlich und die Kinder haben die kleine Schlafkoje geliebt! Der Blick von der Terrasse ist toll! Der Pool ist wunderschön mit liebevoll gestalteten Liegemöglichkeiten! Die Bar ist Kasse des Vertrauens und die gesamte Anlage verströmt eine friedliche Atmosphäre! Der Supermarkt ist in 5 min mit dem Auto erreichbar und der kleine Ort an der Küste ebenfalls in ein paar Minuten mit Auto aber auch gut zu Fuss erreichbar! Dort hat man zahlreiche Restaurants! Wir waren aber doch immer wieder froh, in unsere kleine ruhige Anlage zurückzukehren und die Ruhe am Abend geniessen zu können! Die belgischen Inhaber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir kommen sicher wieder!!! Achtung: bei der Anfahrt hat uns unser Navi mit den Koordinaten etwas irregeführt und uns versucht vom Tal aus heranzuführen! Bei GoogleMaps CasaTuia eingeben hilft!!

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in de tent naast de boomhut. Prachtige groene omgeving, wegen rustig. Mooie ruime goed ingerichte schone tent. Bed sliep heerlijk. Goede kachel. Wat we vooral super vonden was dat we zo prive zaten en een eigen tuin hadden. Voor de kinderen een leuke speeltent en zwembad. Genoeg te doen in de omgeving, prachtige kustlijn op 30 min rijden.

Portugese gastvrijheid op zijn best! Voor alle liefhebbers van kamperen en avontuur: niet twijfelen. Ons verblijf in het tentje onder de appelsienenbomen was in alle opzichten uniek. De vrolijke inrichting met hangmatten en kleurige lichtjes zorgde ervoor dat je helemaal tot rust kwam. Vanaf het moment dat we de rode poort binnenreden werden we deel van het gezin van Sylvia en Miguel. Samen eten met de andere gasten, live muziek en de vers gevangen en bereide vis waren de hoogtepunten van onze vakantie. We konden zeker nog veeeel langer blijven door alle tips en aanbevelingen die we van onze hosts kregen. Jammer dat het al voorbij is. We nemen een hart vol liefde terug mee naar België en hopen jullie op een dag weer te zien 🩷

la llegada se hace más fácil gracias a las instrucciones que te dan, están súper atentos a cualquier cosa que necesites y a responder a cualquiera de tus preguntas. La zona es muy tranquila y desde la tienda de campaña se escucha la cascada, aunque el agua no tenga mucha profundidad esta genial para refrescarse. Solo estuvimos una noche pero nos pareció el paraíso.

Francisco ist ein sehr netter und fürsorglicher Gastgeber, der seine gesamte Unterkunftsanlage in einwandfreien Zustand an die Gäste überlässt. Die einzigartige Lage von Grannys Farm lässt einen jeglichen Alltagsstress vergessen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par Povilas 🥰. Et nous avons eu la chance d’être surclassés et d’être hébergés dans un dôme . Nous sommes enchantés de notre séjour dans le dôme et de la découverte de ce lieu! L’endroit est absolument magique, il y règne une très bonne énergie! 💚🥰 Si vous aimez la nature, la simplicité, l’humain 😉 je vous recommande à 200 % ce lieu de vie ! 🤩🥰💚

Una experiencia inolvidable en plena naturaleza Pasamos unos días maravillosos alojados en esta tienda de campaña tan especial. El lugar tiene un encanto único: estar en contacto directo con la naturaleza, pero sin renunciar a la comodidad. La tienda estaba limpia, bien equipada y muy acogedora, perfecta para desconectar y relajarse. Lo mejor, sin duda, fue la anfitriona. Súper maja y atenta desde el primer momento. Nos hizo sentir como en casa y nos dio un montón de recomendaciones buenísimas: restaurantes locales con comida riquísima y varios lugares que visitar por la zona que no habríamos descubierto por nuestra cuenta. Gracias a ella, aprovechamos el viaje al máximo. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo. ¡Totalmente recomendable para quienes busquen una experiencia diferente y auténtica!

Bem eu e a minha Família 2+3 crianças foi fantástico o tempo que passamos lá . Ian e o seu Cão e Cadela (Mory & Lilla) são um sinal de Paz e descanso e muito Familiar. Wir haben zwei Wochen in einem der großen Zelte übernachtet. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Der ganze Platz ist liebevoll gestaltet, die Bäder sind sauber und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Besonders sind uns die Katzen ans Herz gewachsen, die immer mal wieder zu Besuch kamen. Aber auch die Hunde sind sehr lieb. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt, auch, wenn es nachts nicht so ruhig war, wie erwartet. In der Gegend gibt es einige Hunde, die laut bellen. Aber mit Ohropax konnten wir trotzdem gut schlafen. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken und alles war gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Nachts kann man den wunderschönen Sternenhimmel bewundern.

Thank you Stephan for this experience! Had the pleasure to stay at this beautiful land and will definitely come back. The tent felt very comfortable to sleep in and had enough space for everything. The Nature is absolutely stunning, while the opportunities on the property are giving a good variety. From taking a swim in the lake and afterwards laying in the sun (huge platform next to the lake), to a calming walk through the valley (where oranges are growing). Places for sports and music. The garden is blooming with life, flowers and vegetables and the people that are living there are very friendly. Joschua and Alicia invited to a tasty meal and showed recommended places to explore. There are ruins and a windmill quite close (15min walk) to see an amazing sunset. If you’re still considering your booking, you should just go for it - you will not regret it. Felt very welcome from the beginning and leave with a calm feeling. Until next time!! :) (Keep in mind: I’ts in nature).

What a beautiful setting in the heart of nature! We were welcomed by Marianne & Mario, and a friendly dog, Roxy. Our tented camp had everything we needed, was super clean, and the small pool was perfect to cool off in. Marianne was also very helpful in arranging a taxi to collect us and drop us off at our next destination. If you’re looking for a piece of heaven in nature, look no further, thank you Marianne & Mario!

A nossa estadia foi incrível, fomos muito bem recebidos. Ficámos com a tenda que tem a cozinha e casa de banho privadas mas separadas dos quartos. Para uma estadia de curta duração é agradável. Estamos cercados de vegetação e em harmonia com a natureza. Tem diversas atividades para as crianças e adultos, desde bicicletas, matraquilhos, snooker, ténis de mesa, dardos, jogos de tabuleiro, TV, trampolim, casa na árvore, baloiços construídos nas árvores e um campo de mini golf. Tem duas piscinas, uma infantil que é coberta e uma de adultos com espreguiçadeiras e chapéus de sol. Tem ainda jacuzzi e sauna para desfrutar ao máximo. Tem cabrinhas amigáveis que adoram ser alimentadas e porquinhos da Índia. Podemos adquirir alguns produtos locais e, todos os dias, se quisermos, eles encomendam pão fresco para o pequeno almoço. O Maurice e a Sandra são muito acolhedores e disponíveis, recebemos dicas de sítios a visitar e todas as orientações necessárias para uma estadia perfeita. ☺️

Uma das melhores estadias que ficamos, uma tenda maravilhosa no meio da natureza, o que é uma ótima maneira para acalmar e relaxar durante uns dias, infelizmente só podemos estar uma noite mas recomendamos a todos para irem visitar o restaurante e passarem noites alojados! É incrível, os trabalhadores super amáveis e responsivos, adoramos os jacuzis tanto o privado como os públicos. Super recomendamos!

Hemos reservado una parcela para montar nuestra propia tienda de campaña, era grande y espaciosa. Nos gustó mucho la intimidad y no tener gente muy cerca. La zona es muy buena, cerca de supermercados y playas. Todas las instalaciones estaban limpias y eran cómodas. Sara fue muy amable y atenta. Tardamos un poco más de lo esperado en desmontar la tienda y no tuvo ningún problema en alargar unas horas el check-out. Si tuviera que mejorar algo, quizás sería la iluminación por la noche, unos focos más habrían sido de mucha ayuda. En general la estancia ha sido increíble, repetiremos!

Lugar lindo, tranquilo e bem cuidado. A estrutura é confortável e ideal para curtir a natureza com comodidade. Anfitriões atencioso e tudo muito organizado. Experiência única — recomendo!

Amamos o local, bem aconchegante, limpinho e único. Ficava próximo das praias que conhecemos nesses 2 dias, se pudéssemos dar alguns concelhos para melhoria, seriam eles: Iluminação para o banho ao ar livre, que por sinal estava maravilhoso, Entrada sinalizada e menos íngreme, dependendo do automóvel pode passar dificuldades e Maçaneta confusa, ela ficava em frente a chave dificultando abrir ou fechar a porta. No demais amamos muito o local e já temos expectativas para o regresso.

We had wonderful stay at Ellis and Camilla's Rural Escapes. The space and accommodation was incredible and the attention the hosts gave us was caring and unique. We absolutely recommend the bread and pizza dough they cook and having the possibility to attend to Camilla yoga classes was a precious gift. Thank you again for everything. We hope to visit again soon. :))

Adriana is een geweldige host. Alles is met veel aandacht en gevoel voor sfeer verzorgd. Ze is zelf super vrolijk en enthousiast. Je voelt je direct thuis. Ze respecteert de privacy van de gasten, geeft fijne tips. We hebben heerlijk gegeten in één van de aanbevolen restaurants in de buurt en onze trip naar de Atlantische Oceaan (heel dichtbij en in het zicht vanaf de locatie) was adembenemend zo mooi!! Een geweldig uitgestrekt zandstrand, heel toegankelijk. Wij hebben genoten!!
