Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Portobello

Very nice appartment. Around 10 minutes walking to the “Old course”. If you are a golfer, this is what you need. Lots of restaurantes near the appartment. Even the weather was very nice.

Everything went smoothly and the flat was clean, spacious, and quiet. The amenities, like washer and dryer, were wonderful. While the location was slightly off the common "tourist path," we actually appreciated that and it was an easy bus ride or Uber back to the flat each night. We also enjoyed the local pub and the food choices nearby. My only issue was the lack of communication about the 3 flights of stairs/no lift. This fact is mentioned in other reviews (as I see now), but not in the description of the property nor in the initial instructions for accessing the flat. The stairs themselves are not Ben's fault and as I learned on my 14-day journey through Ireland and the UK, accessibility is not a priority in these old cities. That's fine. But the lesson for me I guess is to read reviews a little more closely, as that's the only place the stairs are mentioned. I have bad knees so trekking up the stairs each night after a long day was, quite simply, torture. But still a great stay.

Really enjoyed our stay. Ground floor apartment in quiet area, with restaurants and grocery store within easy walking distance. Apartment is comfortable, well furnished, VERY clean, and appliances are all new. The accommodation is impressive, and the host even more so. Marion anticipates so much of what you'll want to know, and has prepared a binder full of information including clear instructions for appliances; safety information; suggestions for restaurants; shopping locations; and even contact info for taxi service, if desired. She is punctual and thorough in responding to questions, and truly a pleasure to work with. Marion is not only a super host... she sets the bar, and defines the term.

Valentina’s place was within walking distance to everything we needed. We never heard any of the construction outside. Very quiet. Entryway is definitely run down but the apartment itself is very clean and modern. Having the washer and dryer was a huge bonus! Overall would stay again!

I stayed at this wonderful property for a few days right after getting married, kicking off my honeymoon while also showing my new in-laws some of the best parts of the UK. The entire family had a great time here—it’s clean, very spacious, and truly felt like home. We did run into a minor issue with a bathroom leak (a bit of bad luck on my part, I suppose), but the host was incredibly responsive and did everything they could to resolve it quickly. I really appreciate how it was handled and am grateful for the prompt attention. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely property. If I’m ever in Edinburgh again with family or friends, I’d definitely check if this place is available before considering other options in the Old Town area. Very comfortable stay in Lorna and Richard's house. Cannot recommend highly enough, hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Everything was provided that we needed, every detail had been carefully thought out. The house was perfect for visiting our daughter at university. Would love to stay again sometime. Everything was fine. A bit away from the center. But quiet and nice

The apartment was easy to find, it is not in the city centre but there are bus stops nearby. We needed to take a bus very early in the morning to the airport and it was easy. The apartment is comfortable and large enough for four people. It is well furnished to have meals in the house. We enjoyed the welcome pack in the fridge. The conservatory and the rear garden are lovely. Enjoy your stay there!

Marie and her house are very welcoming. Everything is done to feel at home. The essentials provided are very convenient. The house is very well organized so that 4 adults have their privacy and amenities. Our late arrival was no problem for our hostess to hand over the keys. Everything was perfect, up to the location that allowed us to discover Edinburgh, Glasgow ….

Really lovely apartment in walking distance to the city Centrum and to the castle, but still far away enough to not be bothered by noise. Really lovely neighbourhood with a great pub just around the corner. We would most definitely recommend this place if you're going to stay in Edinburgh 😍

We had an amazing time in St Andrews and Janice’s place was perfect for 6 adults on a golf trip. It was spacious, clean and the best location. I would highly recommend it

Fantastic dwelling, great location and excellent hosts. We will definitely look to return to Edinburgh in the future and seek this residence as well as highly recommending it to our friends and family. Our hosts Mark and Dayna were wonderful especially with their wonderful gesture of allowing us to stay an extra night, free of charge, due to The Hogmanay Festival being cancelled. Thank you again. Nevertheless a wonderful visit to Edinburgh underpinned by an excellent apartment and generous hosts.

A super, well equipped, quiet and very comfortable apartment in great location. We only used for a single night to watch a show at the Playhouse but it would also be great for longer stays.

Fantastic place, exactly as described just steps from the 18th green at the Old course. A little tight if more than two people but that is clear from the photos - no surprises!

We stayed in Elizabeth’s place for our first couple of nights in Scotland. It was perfect and exactly what we needed! She was extremely accommodating to an early check in and met us right when we got there with instructions. The area is perfect and just a short walk to old town, new town and Stockbridge. Close to deans village! Beds were comfortable and everything was clean!

Amazing location in the middle of everything. You can walk to a lot of different places. The condo was great! Spacious and very warm. Accommodate my family of 10 very comfortably. Will definitely stay here again.

Really amazing and extremely beautiful flat. It is impeccably decorated and feels like you’re travelling back in time to an Enlightenment-era salon. The living room and bedrooms are like a manoresque time capsule whereas the bathroom and kitchen are modern and fully decked out. Barely wanted to leave the flat! One of the best airbnb experiences ever!
