Suzy was the most lovely, friendly host & The Cowshed was a perfect, cosy little base for exploring the beautiful Llyn Peninsula . The sofa was comfy , the shower was great & the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals after exploring the gorgeous surrounding area ! We visited Criccieth, Abersoch and Aberdaron - but our favourite walks were at Porthor ( “Whistling Sands” ) and the very picturesque coastline of Morfa Nefyn & Porthdinllaen ( with a quick stop off at the iconic Ty Coch Inn ! ) on this particular walk ! We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful chalet set within a peaceful one-acre private paddock at Congl Cae. The location is perfect — serene, secluded, and with stunning sea views right from the private decking. It’s an ideal retreat for families looking to unwind, yet it's also perfectly placed for exploring the Llyn Peninsula. We loved visiting the nearby beaches like Hell's Mouth, Whistling Sands, and Porth Colmon, as well as the scenic coastal walks and picturesque villages such as Nefyn and Aberdaron. The chalet was wonderful, well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, and very comfortable. The hosts Rod and Mel, was incredibly responsive — every question we had was answered quickly and kindly, which made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this spot for anyone seeking a peaceful coastal getaway. Loved it!

My son and I loved our stay with Ceri. We found the local area to be a great base for the Llyn and trips further afield to Criccieth Castle and Porthmadog for the Railway. The annexe felt very private and the west facing decking/seating area with views onto the field/sea is the perfect sun-trap! Ceri's place was superbly equipped and well furnished - from the cosy wool blanket to torches/phone chargers. Some really great recommendations too from Ceri on where to eat locally too. We had a couple of rainy days, but found plenty to do indoors - we can highly recommend the art gallery/cafe at Plas Glyn y Weddw, the amazing views en route to Nant Gwrtheyrn and the thatched bakery in Aberdaron. Overall an amazing stay - we would love to return! Thank you Ceri and family :)
