A lovely cabin in a beautiful setting nestled in the woods above the lake. Everything was great and I will certainly look to stay again in the future. The host was always quick to answer any questions and was very helpful.

This was a wonderful Airbnb. It was very clean and the decor was lovely. It was a short drive to Indiana Dunes State Park and restaurants in the area. Very convenient. We really enjoyed the heated pool and the dog friendly atmosphere. My dog loved the yard. Would 100% stay again if in the area.

Wonderful stay at Jill's glass house at the Lake o the Woods club! The house is full of amenities for a comfortable visit. Jill and her husband were friendly and helpful, and the club was welcoming. The house has great touches like hand-painted map of the club above the bed, a bluetooth stereo system, and interesting books. It was nice to have everything stocked for using the fireplace. If you're visiting LOTW for the first time like we did, read about it on the website and bring some towels! A couple sets of lightweight towels were perfect to have for sitting and toweling off.

Cute little place right in downtown Chesterton. Very convenient: 5-minute drive to Dunes visitor center (and I-94), and 10 minutes to state park gate. There are a handful of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Quiet street, lovely screened-in porch and fenced backyard. Wifi worked well, drinks in the fridge upon arrival, comfortable bed and couch. Host proactively offered to install the window AC units the night before an unseasonably hot day (90-ish degrees in mid-May).

This place is stunning. It is a work of art. Stocked kitchen attached to a cozy den, beautiful dining and lounge area, super comfy king bed, and large bathtub. Michael was incredibly accommodating!

Host were super helpful. We loved That the place was big enough for the entire family and it had everything we needed. Really appreciated the use of the beach chairs and towels!!! Great House !

It was a Great place to stay at. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed the area as well there was lots to do and the places we went to were fun. The house was amazing especially the living room and kitchen. The morning view in the kitchen was amazing and the living room was also amazing at night. Hayley was a great host as well as she responded quick to any questions we had. Overall me and my girlfriend loved the place and area and would 10/10 recommend this place to stay at.

Greg was an amazing host. He and his wife are clearly professional grandparents. The home was beautiful for our three generation family. The downstairs playroom was a life saver. The house was clean and well set up for guests. They wrote helpful notes and provided clear instructions. We cannot thank Greg enough for sharing his lovely home with us. We also loved the fairy garden in the trees and beautiful backyard. 10/10 recommend

We loved our stay at Jessica's place. The deck off the living room was the perfect place for relaxing with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. It felt like we were in a tree house. Lots of great, natural lighting on the main floor. We loved the sky lights and the back yard is woodsy, lovely, and private. We really enjoyed having campfires and creating lots of memories in the peaceful environment. The dining room perfectly fit our group of seven for dinners and games. We would definitely come back again. Being minutes away from Indiana National Dunes Park and the State Park was a treasure.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was spotless, well-organized, and had everything we needed. I really appreciated the thoughtful decor—it’s clear our host put a lot of care into making the space warm and inviting. Communication was smooth from start to finish, and the check-in and checkout process couldn’t have been easier. The location was easy to find with convenient parking, and the surrounding town was absolutely charming. We especially enjoyed our visit to the national dunes state park and exploring the downtown district. Highly recommend!

We were in town for our niece’s wedding. This was an absolutely perfect spot for our family to stay. Plenty of room for the ten of us, spotlessly clean, wonderful outdoor space. We enjoyed breakfasts on the screened in porch and had 3 campfires while we were there. They had a lighter, fire starters and kindling ready to go! Even marshmallow roasting sticks so we could make s’mores!. Friday and Saturday afternoons we spent in the backyard playing bags and enjoying snacks and a campfire and just having fun together. The kitchen was fabulously equipped with high quality things, plenty of dishes and silverware and even a whole shelf full of spices! Plenty of room for all the food we brought too. We had a fantastic time and am so thrilled we found such a comfortable, inviting place for us all. Will definitely stay here again if we have occasion to all be in Valpo together again. Thank you for helping to make our weekend extra special.

Our stay was amazing! We had a large group, and their home fit us very well. Jason communicated with us very well so that we knew what to expect in their slightly older home. There was so much charm though. Very close to Indiana Dunes, and a great park. They had all kinds of space inside and out on their property to play and enjoy company. Such a nice time!

We arrived at night and couldn't locate the garage well, so ended up scraping my car on the fence by the house, unfortunately. I wish there were clearer signs showing where the garage is and wish I could be warned earlier of the gravel road by the house & the fence. Neighborhood does not feel very safe but should be fine. The rest was all good! Good for the price, great host.

Everything was good just washing machine was not working and dish washer wasn’t operating good and there was enough toiletries

We had a very pleasant stay! The home is just a few short blocks from the Wells Street Beach near the Indiana Dunes National Park. The home was modern and clean, with plenty of amenities. Our host was very responsive and helpful. The location is also just a few miles from the Portage South Shore rail station, allowing for an easy trip into Chicago. If you're looking for a relaxing stay near the Indiana Dunes, don't hesitate to stay here!

House was very clean upon arrival. Nicely decorated as well. Perfect for the weekend stay we needed! Fair warning - it is near train tracks, so you will hear trains. Didn’t bother us too much though!

My husband and I stayed for a quick weekend getaway when our other plans were cancelled - 10/10 would recommend and so happy we were able to find this gem! Brittany was super proactive in messages and helpful with how to check-in. We’re excited to have been the first guests so we could leave a review making everyone want to stay!! Super cute and quaint house close to a lake and the Indiana Dunes NP (15-20 mins away). We showed up around 8:30p and the lights for the sidewalk were motion sensors with lights on inside as well. Honestly we felt so at home and welcomed!! The kitchen is gorgeous and wonderful for cooking. The small touches also mean so much to us - extra chargers for each room, local coffee (which was delish), and amazing linens. I appreciate the size inclusive towel sheets as a mid-plus size gal. You can tell the owners put hard work and love into the house. We will be back and hope everyone reading this knows how perfect of a spot it is! 🙌🏼
