Beach house holiday rentals in Port Stephens Council

Beautiful location right on the beach and within walking distance to the local shops & amenities of Soldiers Point. The kayak and proper Stand Up Paddle boards were a great addition. A great place for kids and lots of areas to relax and enjoy Aperitvo on.

The house was very nice and in a great location for anyone with dog's. Only 5 minutes walk to the dog friendly beach and half an hour's walk into town. As we haven't been to the area before, Clare's recommendations of things to do were excellent for the whole family.

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary at Chris’ place with our children & grandchildren. Whispering Sands is idyllically located with superb views from every vantage point to the sun, sand & water. The house itself allowed for all of us & it really did offer so many extras with a pool table, paddle boards & beach towels included. We were able to walk to various coffee shops & enjoy the suburb of Corlette. Andrea met us at the house & was extremely welcoming & gave us a guided tour around the house ensuring that we felt at home. Thank you Chris for providing a spectacular house on AirB&B. This property is AMAZING! And the hosts are great communicators too. The house is absolute waterfront so we made the most of beach strolls & fishing! Huge rooms, very well equipped & clean with brilliant water views from the inside too. Very happy & sure to be back ❤️

We had a fantastic stay at Marcus and Helen's property. The decor is absolutely lovely—thoughtfully chosen and welcoming, creating a real home-away-from-home vibe. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed, including quality crockery and utensils. The furniture throughout the house was very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. On top of all that, the location was ideal—peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to see and do. Highly recommended!

Stephan's place is lovely. My wife loved the decor. Some very pretty touches that helps to make you feel relaxed and in a home away from home. Convenient location for what we wanted to see and do in Nelson Bay. 15 minute walk along the bay foreshore to the shopping centre and marina. Highly recommended. Hopefully we'll be back around the same time next year.

We had a great stay at Insa's lovely apartment - was perfect for a trip with young children. The upstairs has a particularly nice play area for kids

Sonja’s place was absolutely perfect. Above and beyond the photos. It was definitely 5 star luxury all the way. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a group getaway. Located five minutes from Nelson bay and a short walk to pristine bays and a dog beach across the road.

What a beautiful and incredibly well designed house. The style and finishing touches were just perfect. I literally couldn’t fault a thing it was just perfect.

Jordan’s place was at a great location in Nelson Bay, place was as described and perfect for a get away with a group of friends! Jordan was very helpful, definitely highly recommend and look forward to hopefully coming back in the future.

We had an amazing stay! Perfect set up for groups of friends or two families like we were. We loved the extra touches like balled ice cubes and lots of extra bath and beach towels! Our kids loved the spa/pool and it was nice and warm which was a perfect activity for them even in the rain! This place is walking distance to the shops, marina and cafes/restaurants! Richard was an amazing host and communicated very fast with any questions we had about the spa! The set up is great and so relaxing! Nice to have three different areas to sit too and chill out with enough space to not be on top of your other guests! We had a great time and will be back!! Thank you!

Brian and Sue were phenomenal hosts, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They even welcomed us with two bottles of wine – such a thoughtful touch! The amenities were modern and well-kept, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience for everyone. This property truly exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn't hesitate to book again. We had a great family stay at Andrew's. The house was clean, spacious, with an organised & equipped kitchen, nicely styled and was relaxing place for a weekend getaway. Walking distance to the bay & surrounds. Andrew was informative and responsive throughout our stay, would highly recommend this property.

The house was exactly how it was described in the listing, and was ideal for our group. The two decks, the spa bath, spacious living areas and dining room all got plenty of use! The pool was also perfect for the kids plus the location was close to beaches and the coastline to soak up some time. Shops and cafes were just a short drive nearby.

Sandy Feet Retreat is perfectly located with a short walk less than 10 minutes to the surf beach, Jimmy’s Beach via Council shortcut pathways and the shops in Hawks Nest. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need. The shower has excellent water pressure and offers the choice of a rainhead or handheld shower. The beds were firm and very comfy. We loved staying here for a week of Easter sun, surf, outstanding golf and long walks with the dog.

Back for our second stay at Casey's in 4 months! We love the cosy comfortable accommodation and the easy walk to the beautiful family and dog friendly beach. Thoroughly recommended!

The house was spotlessly clean, modern, beautifully presented, and incredibly well-equipped — it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was ideal — just a four-minute walk to the beach and close to great cafes and restaurants, which made getting around and enjoying the area so easy. The host went above and beyond, even thoughtfully providing extra items for the baby, which made our stay so much more comfortable and stress-free. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the house — beach gear, a great selection of board games, and a fully stocked kitchen that made cooking at home a breeze. Every detail had clearly been considered, and it made our trip seamless and relaxing. Highly recommend this place to anyone!

Very comfortabale place to stay, close to the beach and golf course

A great, spacious house with everything you could need. We loved being so close to both the bush and the ocean. It’s a quiet, peaceful location with easy walking access to the beach. The host was very helpful with local tips and quick to answer any questions we had.

A beautiful space to launch your vacation in Nelson Bay. Perfect for kids with modern amenities, the house is spacious, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The private pool was an oasis and the wraparound balcony was perfect for a quiet coffee or a late evening glass of wine. As for the hosts - Karen ❤️ was engaging and very responsive. I don’t think she would be happy if you didn’t enjoy every moment, and we certainly did. Just book it. You won’t regret a thing.
