Located one hour from Toronto, Birchwood is a luxury camping experience for two. Immersed in a private forest on Scugog Island, our geodesic dome allows for a cozy and relaxing getaway. We are 5 minutes from Rice Lake which is well known for its great fishing, and 20 minutes drive to the famous Cobourg beach. Come and relax at the cottage!

Ammenities include an oversized sofa, extra large flat screen, gas fireplace, and beautiful kitchen. Please note, the owner Russell does reside in the lower unit from May-early January. Heritage barn turned zen-den! Our open-concept, loft style, timber-frame cabin has exposed beams, barn board walls, and plenty of windows to enjoy the lake view. Decorated with a beachy boho meets mid-century vibe, it's cozy and airy at the same time! The private deck offers the perfect place to listen to the birds and read a good book. The Nook is on our 1 acre, lakefront property, alongside our home. We hope you love it here as much as we do!
