Beachfront holiday rental in Port Franks

Had a Thanksgiving weekend with my family. Diana’s Birchwood beach house was the prefect spot for our families. Large clean bedrooms. 2 huge bathrooms. Amazing kitchen and dining room. Diana has thought of everything that you would need. This place had it all. Would definitely recommend it for you and your family. Diana was very helpful and responsive. My husband and I stayed here the night of our wedding. We arrived and Rose and her husband had a gift and card waiting for us on the table. The house was very clean, beautiful location and everything we could have asked for and more. Thank you Rose and family to allowing us to stay!

This was the perfect get away for our family. The private fenced in lot had tons of space for our dog to play. The large mature trees felt like we were deep in the forest but the lake was only a few steps away! The beach was clean and private. The cottage was perfect! We felt right at home, with all the amenities that we needed. Moon was easy to deal with and very helpful. We would definately rent again, and recommend to friends and family!

The house worked great for our girls’ weekend away. The hot tub location was perfect for peaceful evening dips or watching the sunrise after a dip in the lake. The kitchen was well-organized and well stocked with many of the basics - making packing simpler. The guest house (behind the main house) would be great for a second family. We didn’t use it except to shower, but only because we didn’t need the space w the main house accomodating 8+. The paddle boards and kayaks were awesome to have and the beach/water was wonderful for a fall getaway. The house is located right between Port Santilac and Lexington. Both towns have wonderful options for dining and bars (including live music). We golfed nearby on Huron Shores course and love the course and views. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️10/10 would rent again. Only complaint (if you could call it that) would be the hot tub cover is SUPER heavy. So we struggled taking it off and putting back on. But idk if you could get something lighter for a spa of th

This stay is one of a kind. The cottage is clean, cozy, beautiful, well maintained and fit our family of 5 + our dog perfectly. The yard is a perfect size and the walk down to the beach is truly magical. The sunsets are… immaculate to say the least. This home is located perfectly in my opinion. It’s so peaceful, quiet and serene while downtown is only about a 5 min drive! I was having trouble accessing my email when we arrived so I couldn’t pull up the instructions on how to get into the house. I called Jennifer and she kindly helped me right away! We will be back in the future!! Thanks so much!

We loved the view and how clean everything was. The cottage had everything we needed. The clear plastic walls on the porch facing the lake was perfect when the wind picked up. The town of Lexington was near by for anything we might have forgotten. The golf course in Port Sanilac was close by and gorgeous. We will stay here again.

It was a last minute decision to book this and I’m so glad I did. It is a lovely, spacious home that was very comfortable. I liked that the beach was so close for winter walks. The host responded to any questions promptly making the experience totally enjoyable. I highly recommend this home for your next stay!

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! We have been enjoying every single minutes of staying at your beautiful cottage,your hospitality is outstanding—thoughtful, welcoming, and always responsive. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from brand-new essentials like toothbrushes and toothpaste to a well-stocked kitchen. The view is breathtaking, and the hot tub making our stay even more relaxing. Every detail is carefully considered to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I truly appreciate the effort put into making guests feel at home. I would love to come back again and again—highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway!

Sara was an excellent host! She was quick to respond, gave clear instructions and was very understanding of our needs. She had the fire going for us inside which was so nice! I very much appreciated her flexibility with check in and out! The home was beautiful and clean - it had everything we needed and felt like a home which is so nice! Loved the huge dining table for us girls to gather! The beds were a 8.5/10 which is a win. There was not complete privacy and we did feel out in the open at the fire pit - I’m sure summer is even busier! The sunset was stunning - the stairs to the beach were intense - great exercise but be prepared. Neighbour’s were friendly. I’d say the only negative (which isn’t really negative), was the living room furniture., it was somewhat uncomfortable because it has been used. A plus was being so close to Grand Bend for all your needs! Thanks Sara - we hope to return!

Stargazer Cottage is an absolute gem! Our stay was nothing short of spectacular. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the beached, with optimal depth water that made our daily swims unforgettable. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. They were especially accommodating with our kids, providing plenty of toys and games to keep them entertained. The cottage itself is beautifully maintained and boasts an outstanding view that we enjoyed every morning with our coffee. Every detail, from the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen, was perfect. This was a 10 out of 10 experience, and we can't recommend Stargazer Cottage highly enough. If you're looking for a serene yet activity-filled getaway, this is the place to be!

This is a great cottage with a fantastic view! Lots of room, comfortable with well appointed with modern furniture and appliances. Anita is a terrific host! If you’re looking for a vacation spot in this area, any time of the year, absolutely choose this place. 10/10

The cottage was perfectly quaint and so cozy! Exactly what we were looking for - a place to relax, read, and walk along the beach. We stayed 3 nights in early November, so we cozied up inside mostly, but I could see spending more time down on the beach during summer. The uninterrupted view of the horizon is incredible! (FYI, there are ~100 stairs down to the beach, but it's worth it) Bayfield and Goderich are very close, both delightful towns to spend an afternoon walking around in, visiting the local shops. I would not hesitate to come back again, we felt we very rejuvenated after our long weekend here.

What a cozy, peaceful getaway. Exams in university have been stressful and especially after the winter exam season, Cliff Haven was the perfect, much needed, relaxing getaway. The view from the living room window was a joy to wake up to every day, and the quiet neighborhood streets were ideal for our morning walks. The amenities were all in good condition and there was tons of stuff to do inside on those particularly cold days - playing board games and watching movies on the large screen tv were some of our favourites. Pinery Provincial Park was a beautiful experience as well… We enjoyed 2 amazing days cross country skiing on some of the most amazing trails we have ever seen - quite the hidden gem!! Very comfortable stay! The bed was soooo soft. The location was great as well! We didn't take advantage of the amenities but they look nice. I loved the beach theme decor around the place as it made it very relaxing!

We spent our family reunion here at Zac’s place for the Easter long weekend and had an amazing time. Our stay was better than expected with everything you can think of. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, bonfire, theatre room downstairs and the kids loved having the entire upstairs to themselves. The Alexa speaker all around the house was an added bonus. We cannot thank Zac & his family enough for the accommodation. We would love to come back & create more memories with our family in the near future.

It was a lovely stay over a weekend. Easy 10 minute walk to the beach and pier. Quiet neighborhood only a block or two away from the main street. The house was clean and furnished and we felt comfortable there. Lots of beds and bathrooms!! Lots of space!

Paradise found with this Lake Huron retreat. Lorraine is a superb host. Upstairs master bedroom with en-suite bath and closet is spacious and can easily sleep a family of 5. Sunsets are incredible over the water. So much space to relax and unwind inside and out. Games room in garage was a great bonus for kids and adults to enjoy. Would highly recommend property and host!!

This home, location, and town are all so beautiful and quaint. The beach is wonderful, the house had everything we needed, and the Alli Bar is such a fun place to grab a drink. Chuck and Dawn are super responsive and kind. We'll definitely try to book this home again!

Very clean and comfortable- Kelly was a very friendly & attentive host. First rate paddle boards, kayak, canoe and beach toys were above expectations & I really enjoyed the large modern barbecue grill.

Great place to stay! LOVED the sunrise on Lake Huron! The lake looked like the ocean with all of its beautiful colors. Sandy beach was a blast for the kids. Great rock collecting and sea glass too. The house was so modern, clean and fit our two families of four just fine. Downtown Lexington is super cute and we had fun browsing the shops and eating ice cream at Scoops Ahoy :) Greatest swimming of my husband's life he said. We had a wonderful time.

We had the most wonderful visit at Dewey's cottage. When we entered the house, we were greeted with the fresh smell of a clean house! There were 2 bedrooms on the main floor, and two in the basement. We were two families, so this set up was perfect, as it allowed each family to have some privacy. The pool, big yard and trampoline were all a hit with our kids. The kitchen was stocked with lots of cutlery, plates, cooking items and basic condiments. The beach was within walking distance - and the view of the lake could be seen from the house which was breathtaking. We absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommend!
