This Airbnb is exceptional! 10+ Walter is an excellent host. Responds quickly and very friendly. Roberto (Walter’s father) is lovely. He picked us up from the train station on arrival and our departure day he drove us back to the station for shopping in Florence and picked us up again later to take us to another train station. We were very grateful. If you’re looking for a quiet authentic Italian experience, this is it!! Thank you Walter and Roberto.

Honestly if we could give six stars we would. Incredible scenery, the house is surrounded by vineyards as long as you can see and you are free to walk in them. The apartment is part of the owners house but there is a separate entrance and garden and terrace so it’s really like its own place. We got lots and lots of local tips from the nonno at the house who showed us all the wineries we had to visit. He also brought us a couple of bottles when we said we were looking for the local stuff. 10/10s! There is a giant dog (teddy bear) at the house called Spike who loves people and good pets:)) Tuscan dream achieved✅ Only thing to beware of is the road you choose up to the property. Google maps first led us up a really steep mud hill, with lots of bumps. That’s not the main road up; be careful with your cars;) if you keep going around the hill, there is a nice paved road all the way up.

We were very satisfied with the stay. It's the perfect place to stay if you plan to travel by train towards Florence or the city of Pisa. Trains run frequently on both directions and transfers by train are also very fast. The host was always very responsive to our questions and was very helpful as well. When there was a problem with our personal car, he came in within a few minutes and helped us solve the problem for which he is cordial thanks. The place was exactly as described and there's nothing to complain about from my perspective. We went through all the interesting places of the region of Tuscany because almost all of them are within easy reach of the accommodation. We have seen Florence, Pisa, Volter, San Gimignano, Siena, Livorno and Lucca. We can definitely recommend staying at this accommodation.
