Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Ponderay

This was our second visit to this beautiful home, and won't be our last! So much space and room for our family to enjoy time together, and make memories! Don't pass up this amazing home if you enjoy peace and quiet, cleanliness, and amazing hosts!

Dirty Pete’s had everything I needed to simply relax by the river. Bathroom was only a few steps away and was spotless. Tish was very proactive and quick to respond. Highly recommend this to all the nature lovers out there. Already looking forward to my next trip.

was there on a fishing trip . parking boats is a little tight. but manageable. had a great time. would book it again if we are back in that area.

Condo was fantastic! Greatly appointed for a big group - plenty of dishes, dining room seating etc. Kitchen was great for making large group meals and had all the devices anyone could need. The unit had great quality throughout - towels, mattresses, hot tub, decor, ski storage in garage, etc. etc. And all very new and clean!

Cozy and clean! No pictures of the bathroom in the listing, but the bathroom was clean and matched description.

Very responsive host, he was very helpful with answering any questions. The house is great, surrounded with wild life, some spaces such as the bathrooms are due for an update for you city folk.. but we all loved our stay and highly recommend.

This house was perfect for our needs before and after skiing at Schweitzer. Everything was immaculate and we enjoyed the spacious layout. Plenty of room for small kids to run around on one level + a fully fenced backyard that was full of fresh snow when we arrived! ☃️

Joshua’s place was wonderful and very comfortable. We had visitors over in the evening and there was plenty of room for everyone. Games to play, great gas fireplace and nice deck out front for hanging out. While it’s true the train comes through there quite often there were ear plugs provided and sound machines in each bedroom. Joshua was great to communicate with and he let us check out late which was very nice. House is located about 8 minutes to downtown Sandpoint………. Thanks Joshua!!

It only took a few steps inside to realize this stay would be something special. This space is not only beautiful but thoughtfully designed with a true sense of hygge—warm, welcoming, and effortlessly calming. As an aspiring chef who’s particular about the kitchen, I was especially impressed this kitchen. I’d seen previous reviews mentioning missing items, but I found the opposite to be true. Everything I needed was at my fingertips, from quality pans to sharp knives—clearly curated for guests who actually enjoy cooking. Mariela even checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. That level of care and communication made the entire experience seamless. The bed was incredibly comfortable—like sleeping on a cloud—and I woke up every morning to jaw-dropping views that felt like something out of a dream. It was the perfect place to reset, refocus, and feel inspired. Truly one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve had.

Melissa went out of her with our super late booking by getting the home ready to go within a few hours. Super friendly and accommodating!!! The home is beautiful and spacious with a semi stocked pantry! I would recommend this place and Melissa to anyone thinking of visiting Sand Point and Schweitzer Ski Resort! Absolutely beautiful house! We landed super late and had to check in super late and they were so understanding. Our boys loved the house and all the lake toys even in the 60° weather. Shelley was so sweet and made checking in and everything so easy for us! :)

Our stay was great! The condo is beautifully appointed and full of amenities, and the location is INCREDIBLE. The walk to downhill ski access looks longer than it is on Google - it's just a couple hundred steps, and shorter on the way back! And Shannon has left clear directions in the guidebook. Also ran into the very friendly and helpful building owner in the ski locker room (which is super convenient too). We didn't need to use the car at all during our stay, and it snowed the whole time, so who could ask for more - thank you!

Rob's place was just what I needed. the location was perfect and I was very comfortable.

James was a great host. He was quick to respond and eager to help in anyway. His place was beautiful and the view from the balcony for the sunrise and sunset was sensational. Can't wait to stay here again.

Very nice place, great views of the water and mountains! Would stay here again! They mention this but I didn't notice it - this is not really a 5 bedroom place. One of the bedrooms is INSIDE another one, so you can't really use the bunkbed room as it's own space. Still has lots of beds though. The knives and pans should be replaced, like many rentals they are not in good shape.

We had such a blast!! The unit was so Much more than we expected. Our weather was very bipolar So it was such a treat To have an indoor an outdoor option to hang out. The cookware ....the furnishings and the bedding ....Down to the towels where all luxurious We enjoyed our daily interactions with the owners and can't wait to come back someday.

Beautiful Farm and scenery! Cassie was extremely flexible with our check in time. The house is very large and beautiful!
