Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Pohjois-Lappi

Our stay at Tarja and Scott’s house was one of the best adventures of our lives. Even before the trip, they were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and had everything we needed. The house was cozy and warm, with plenty of firewood. There is also a beautiful kota near the house where we could cook on the fire and watch the northern lights. We were lucky to see the aurora five nights in a row. Scott also gave us great advice about hiking and kindly let us stay a bit longer on our last day. Before we left, we had a nice talk and learned more about his life. We will always remember this peaceful place by the lake and hope to return one day. :)

Tolle Unterkunft, schneller und einfacher Check- In. Die Sauna ist aufjedenfall ein Highlight und die Betten sind auch sehr bequem zum schlafen. Allerdings fehlt meiner Meinung nach WLAN. Grade wenn man so wie wir eine Woche da ist braucht man schon Internet 🛜 Ansonsten aber alles wirklich toll gewesen 🥰

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans la maison de Sanna et tout était parfait. Avant même d'arriver, la communication avec Sanna a été très rapide et facile. Sa maison est très jolie, très bien décorée et remplie de petites attentions. Le sauna est un vrai plus. C'est la première fois que je loge chez quelqu'un d'autre et que je m'y suis sentie aussi bien. Il y a des gens qui ont le sens du service et Sanna en fait définitivement partie. Je ne peux que recommander, tout était simplement parfait.

Hem tingut una estada fantàstica. El lloc és preciós, tranquil i envoltat de naturalesa. La casa està molt ben cuidada, ben equipada i és molt confortable. L'anfitriona molt atenta i amable, ha respost sempre amb rapidesa a tots els nostres dubtes. Hi tornaria sense cap dubte.

Superbe environnement. Balade en raquettes et ski de fond sur la rivière, aurores boréales formidables, ... Très jolie cabane rénovée avec goût et du bon matériel. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir l'été tester le sauna extérieur et le bain à remous.

Wir danken Matti und Marita für die schöne Zeit im Haus und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Es war total erholsam und wir haben uns von der 1. Sekunde an zu Hause gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und warm, perfekt sauber und das Badezimmer war neu renoviert mit Füßbodenheizung und allem, was es angenehm macht. Die Sauna war toll. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Das Internet war sehr schnell und ist ausreichend schnell, um von da aus zu arbeiten, wenn man das muss. Wir haben den Ausflug zu den Rentieren sehr genossen, die Langlaufski und haben uns bei langen Spaziergängen in den Wäldern rundum sehr gut erholt. Die Gastgeber waren immer ansprechbar und total hilfsbereit. Es war sehr interessant und wir haben viel Neues über Lappland und Finnland gelernt. Vielen Dank für alles und hoffentlich bis bald!

We had the most amazing time! This place is truly magical—so calm and relaxing. It offers great privacy while still feeling safe, as there are other houses nearby (so you’re not completely alone in the woods). One of my favorite things was simply looking out the windows at the breathtaking view of snow-covered trees—so idyllic! A highlight of our stay was being able to see the northern lights, both from inside and outside the house. The cottage itself felt like home—warm and cozy with the fireplace, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Taija was incredibly kind and provided us with great recommendations for the area. We absolutely loved our time here and would come back in a heartbeat!

Wir waren für eine Woche in der Unterkunft und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden was man so braucht, die Beschreibungen waren super und man kann eigentlich alles mit einem schönen Spaziergang erreichen. In der Nähe der Unterkunft gibt es viele Unternehmungen die man machen kann, ansonsten lässt es sich vor dem Kamin oder in der Sauna super entspannen. Wir würden immer wieder kommen! :-)

Die Unterkunft war einfach perfekt – sehr schön eingerichtet und mit viel Liebe zum Detail, man fühlt sich direkt wie zu Hause. Alles war super sauber und ordentlich. Die Sauna und der Pool waren ein absolutes Highlight. Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Kommunikation mit Kristiina: Sie hat immer sehr schnell auf Nachrichten geantwortet und uns mit vielen tollen Tipps für Ausflüge und Unternehmungen in der Umgebung versorgt. Der Aufenthalt war rundum angenehm – absolut empfehlenswert! Vielen Dank für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft!

Es hat alles super geklappt, die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos und in der Wohnung hat es einem an nichts gefehlt. Gerne wieder!

Huoneisto oli erinomaisella paikalla. Ravintolat ja hiihtoreitit löytyivät ihan vierestä. Huoneisto oli siisti ja kivasti sisustettu. Virgine vastasi nopeasti viesteihin ja huolehti että kaikki sujui hyvin. Häneltä saimme hyviä vinkkejä aktiviteetteihin ja ravintoloihin.

Unser Aufenthalt im Igluu war einzigartig! Das Bett unter dem Glasdach bot einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Sternenhimmel und die Polarlichter. Jedoch war es Nachts ein bisschen hell, störte aber nicht wirklich. Die Unterkunft war gut ausgestattet und perfekt für eine außergewöhnliche Erfahrung. Ein unvergesslicher und magischer Urlaub, den wir nur empfehlen können!

Meidän makuun ja tarpeisiin täysi 10. Matti vastasi nopeasti viesteihin ja kommunikointi sujui erittäin luontevasti. Suosittelen!

Aivan ihana pieni mutta kodikas huoneisto, josta kuitenkin löytyi kaikki tarvittava. Takka oli sytytetty valmiiksi kun päästiin perille. Tullaan ehdottomasti uudelleenkin!

Dziękujemy Marianne za gościnę. Domek przytulny, idealny dla 4 osób. Wyposażenie domku bardzo dogodne, było w nim wszystko co trzeba na tygodniowy pobyt. Łóżka wygodne, w salonie miejsce do spędzania czasu po południu, internet działa bez zarzutu. Dobre położenie domku, na uboczu, cisza i zaledwie 20 min. spacerem do sklepu, restauracji, barów i innych atrakcji miasteczka. Nie mieliśmy samochodu, ale to w niczym nie przeszkadzało. Do tras biegówkowych dochodziliśmy w kilka minut. Marianne poradziła nam jak najlepiej dojechać z lotniska, uprzedzała jak pojawiała się zorza. Jak mieliśmy jakiekolwiek pytania przed albo w czasie pobytu zawsze odpowiadała w ciągu kilku minut. Dom Marianne był bardzo dobrym miejscem na tygodniowy pobyt. Bardzo rekomenduję! Dziękujemy i pozdrawiamy.

We highly recommend this place to nature lovers seeking the true beauty of Lapland, far from touristy spots. The cabin is cozy and well-equipped, staying warm even in -30°C. There are two saunas available on-site, adding to the charm. The surroundings are breathtaking, and the host is kind and helpful. Special thanks to Juha, who took great care of the property – his warm and helpful nature made our stay even better. We saw the Northern Lights every night, right from the cabin, thanks to the remote location free from light pollution. Reindeer roam freely in the area, and there are plenty of trails to explore nearby. The road from Poland was well-maintained and safe, even with heavy snow. A truly magical place we’ll definitely return to!🩷🫶

Kuvausta ja kuvia vastaava kohde! Itse olin yllättynyt naapureiden määrästä, mutta sijainti oli todella rauhallinen ja viihtyisä. Viihtyisä ja tilava majoitus kaiken kaikkiaan.

Hyvällä sijainnilla oleva kompakti asunto, mistä löytyi kaikki tarvittava vierailun ajaksi.
