The guest must have experience of vacationing in a cottage in a place where there is no tap water and no indoor toilet, and must know how to heat the sauna with wood. It's easy to relax in this unique and peaceful holiday destination. The cottage is located on the shore of Lake Ounasjoki. Behind the river is Aakenustunturi. The cottage has electric heating, a wood stove and a fireplace. The sauna is heated with wood, which is also located in the same building. Access to the sauna is via the terrace. Water for the sauna is collected from the river with buckets and heated with wood in the sauna pad. The property has a very clean outdoor toilet with no heating. Ice hole in the river open in winter.

Savu has also an exotic smoke sauna in the same building what you can also rent for an extra fee. Hot tube is also possible to rent. Ice swimming is possible as well.

This private little cottage is located next to the lake of Inari, but also only just 15 minutes drive away from the center of Ivalo. Beautiful lake and fell scenery opens straight away from the front door and sauna. Cottage has modern equipments for cozy living, a fireplace and wood-heated sauna. During the evenings you can hear huskies howling few kilometers away and hopefully spot the auroras dancing above the lake. Entrance to bathroom through cold veranda.
