Surrounded by beautiful trees, lush vegetation and fascinating widlife, this place is the ideal spot for a relaxed, tranquil getaway. We had very poor weather while we were here so didn't get to enjoy the outside space as much as we could have. The best part about this place is Manoj and his team that run the place, we had beautiful cooked breakfasts and seafood lunches while we were here, and Manoj helped us with shopping, transportation around the local area and our ongoing transfer to Colombo. The owner also deserves credit, for being so approachable, easy to contact and proactive in resolving issues.

Our stay at Villa Ema was fantastic. The villa is beautifully designed, spacious, and very easy to find. It offers complete privacy and a peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect retreat. The villa is fully equipped with all modern amenities, including a well-stocked kitchen that made our stay even more comfortable. Mr. Asintha and his wife are incredibly friendly and helpful hosts. Communication with them was effortless and clear throughout our stay. Each room is thoughtfully designed with air conditioning, attached bathrooms, and very comfortable beds. The quality of the fittings and the overall architecture of the villa is exceptional. Everything was immaculately clean and well maintained. We truly appreciated their hospitality and the effort they made to accommodate us. Our experience at Villa Ema was outstanding, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Galle area.

We had the most amazing stay at Elspeth Villa in Ahangama! The villa itself is absolutely stunning – beautifully designed, serene, and surrounded by lush greenery. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, and you can truly feel the care that went into creating such a peaceful space. Elspeth was a wonderful host, super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a tranquil escape with a personal touch. Ruwan was amazing. His place was even better. Very walkable to the fort and the cricket grounds. Easy access to a bridge over the train tracks to get to the markets and food as well. Felt very private with your own gate access. The property was amazing and the wet bath had a curtain. We couldn’t ask for me. All the amenities even though we did not need them. Book now if available!

We had a wonderful week at Mandaram Villa with warm hospitality, a gorgeous quiet garden, spacious airy rooms, an awesome outdoor shower, and delicious homemade food. The hosts were incredible, the house was comfortable, and Darasan took excellent care of us, driving our family of 4 around to every beach and site we wanted to visit. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

We had the best time at the villa. The minute we entered we were in awe of the place. It actually looked better than the pictures. We were a bunch of girls and skeptical about the safety as it was a new country but Binara made us feel right at home. There was periodical cleaning at the villa with a caretaker always at the property. The pool was always maintained clean and the team maintained privacy as well. Binara was always helpful and responsive. The location is bang on as well. Walkable to beach and 5 mins to all the famous cafes like Kai, cactus etc. couldn’t have asked for a better place to live in SriLanka. Highly recommend this place- be it with you family or friends.

Loved our stay at Villa Sepalika! The location is amazing - an oasis of calm and green with the odd peacock and monkey to add to the tropical holiday! The pool is outstanding and the lawn is great for games (if you can tear yourself away from the beautiful big verandah!). The staff were lovely - they made sure we had everything we needed and the cook was superb! Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to the next time!

Just... wow! We felt truely blessed with the opportunity to stay here. The pictures really don't do the view and villa justice, it's a really remarkable find and absolutely stay here if you get the chance. Sonali and her family are wonderful people, who really made the stay. Sonali's cooking was wonderful, lots of dishes each evening that were so tasty and taking the time to go through the menu with us is really thoughtful and made sure we enjoyed everything. Lesley and Ken have truely thought of everything, there's not a single thing missing and nothing to be improved on. We went out easily on tuk tuks to visit surrounding areas, only to return to absolute bliss with a dip in the warm infinity pool. We even took a little boat ride around the lake from the dock at the end of the garden that Sonali organised for us. This place is a true gem, and we felt so lucky to be able to stay here - just try and stop us visting again!

The place was absolutely gorgeous—truly nothing negative to say. It struck the perfect balance between luxury and the warmth of home. The host, Jen, was proactive and incredibly responsive from the start, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The staff were exceptional, especially the villa manager, Ushan, who had an uncanny sense of when to be present and when to give us space. Even when not physically around, he ensured every request was met. The cook prepared amazing meals daily, and the entire property was spotless, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. We genuinely regretted only staying for four days—it simply wasn’t enough time in such a beautiful setting. We’re already planning to return. Bonus: it was unexpectedly fun spotting dragonflies around the property—just one of many charming touches.

Clare’s place was everything & more than what we were expecting. The villa is absolutely beautiful, set in the most peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Nuwan’s cooking and hosting was the cherry on the top of our experience. Tushara also really looked after us. We were able to organise 3 private yoga classes & a massage - personal highlights of my stay at the villa. All of the above meant that whenever we left the villa, we wanted to get back straight away to our private paradise even though Ahangama is a great area to visit. Highly recommend staying and experiencing the beauty of Villa Sisila!!

An amazing stay - as a group of 10 girls we always felt safe and like it was our home (we wish it was), the staff are incredible - some of the most kind, friendly, caring and thoughtful people we have ever met. The villa was clean, comfortable and exceeded all our expectations. Upon arrival our jaws were on the floor with how amazing the property is - we never wanted to leave. The house had lots of difference spaces so we could all come together but also have some peace and quiet if we wished. We enjoyed the home cooked meals on multiple occasions and it was absolutely divine. The staff also went above and beyond if we ever had requests such as picking stuff up if we needed and providing recommendations for sightseeing and activities in Sri Lanka. We all agree we would love to come back and will cherish these memories forever.

We had the most wonderful family Christmas at Villa Olu. The villa exceeded our expectations - the photos don’t do it justice! It was the most perfect setting for relaxing, having fun, playing games and not to mention the incredible family meals prepared and cooked by Kumara and Nadi!Experiencing the delicious traditional Sri Lankan cuisine was a huge highlight. Kumara could not do enough to help us - book tuk tuks, arrange massages at the villa and arrange transport. The villa is incredibly peaceful yet only ten minutes from Galle where we enjoyed visiting shops, sites and cafes. We would not hesitate to stay at Villa Olu again, what a super family holiday!

We had a great time at this beautiful villa. It’s absolutely stunning and well located to the heart of Ahangama. Tim was extremely helpful and responsive. The staff were not overhearing and left us to get on with things. The breakfasts were delicious and portions generous. One morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and the next the international breakfast with delicious butter milk pancakes. Dinner was also great and the chef worked hard to provide a variety as everyone ordered something different. Thanks Gamunu and co we enjoyed our time at the villa.

We just returned from the most unforgettable stay at this stunning private villa in the south of Sri Lanka, and we’re still floating from the experience! We were 3 families with 6 young kids (ages 3 to 8), and this place was pure paradise for all of us. From the moment we booked, the host Sophie was an absolute gem—warm, welcoming, incredibly responsive, and full of helpful tips to make our stay extra smooth. The villa itself? Breathtaking. Think lush gardens, open tropical spaces, beautifully designed rooms, and a serene vibe that instantly makes you feel relaxed and at home. It was spacious enough for our group to feel comfortable and connected, with plenty of areas for the kids to explore and the adults to unwind. And the staff! So friendly, so kind, and so attentive. But the real star of the show was Dias, the private chef, who absolutely blew us away with his who absolutely blew us away with his cooking. If you’re thinking of staying here—do it. This place is magic.

Words cannot describe how perfect our stay was. Sharmini was a fantastic host, even before we got there. She was quick to answer my many questions about the villa, the local area and sharing details of companies that could collect our large party of 12 from the airport. Even calling them on my behalf when they didn't respond to my messages. The photos of the villa don't do it justice. The rooms are all a fantastic size, beds and pillows comfy and the bathrooms are wonderful. The location on the beach was just perfect. We were 3 families with 6 children between 2 and 8 and we all spent our time running from beach to pool l. Idilic. But the standout feature of the villa is the fabulous and dedicated staff. Dilu, Milan and Bandu. Dilu could not do enough for us and was on hand, yet discreet. Milan! Well his cooking is easily the best I've had in Sri Lanka. He cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for all of us every night catering for us all! Our villa stay was perfect in every way!

Fantastic stay at Sylvies villa! Very quiet and peaceful. Amazing wildlife on your doorstep. The pool was fantastic.

WOW, This is the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. the moment the gates opened we was greeted by chandana, priyantha and malani. a much needed welcome after the long journey. A refreshment and cold towel, was given to us by malani. The villa itself made even more special by these three Amazing people. The gardens are just the most stunning scenery pure bliss, the sounds of the wildlife inside and the surroundings are just amazing. Priyantha attends every morning and evening to clean the pool and surrounding garden the month we went was when the leafs fell from the tree he worked tirelessly everyday am and pm to assure the lawns was clear “for the children to play” he also took us to hikkaduwa most evenings, we would what’s app him and he would come and collect us. Malani also worked tirelessly cleaning the villa everyday and on 3 occasions brining in breakfast for us. Chandana Went above and beyond we went on 3 excursions with him. One of the nicest people ever.

Very difficult to put into words how wonderful the villa is. Very easy to find, great welcome, kitchen well stocked. 3 big bedrooms; 2 with outside showers. The housekeepers really make the stay. They prepare breakfast each morning to be eaten outside by the pool. They will also cook dinner if required, which, frankly was the best food we ate in Sri Lanka. The pool is lovely and in shade. In fact I’d say the property and experience is better than described. 10 mins by the gardeners tuk tuk to Mirissa Beach and restaurants. Thank you!

Coconut tree villa is such a special place. The location is really incredible, so peaceful, surrounded by jungle with birds, monkeys and peacocks. Our children loved the pool and were made to feel like royalty by the staff on site. We had a few lovely meals prepared by the lovely ladies for extra cost. Roshan the tuk tuk driver took us to the market to choose some fish, but beware, we were scammed when we went ventured off from him to buy fruit, spending £17 on a few items! The town is a 5 min tuk tuk ride away and we paid 600 ruppee each way, directly to Roshan. We were provided with a mobile and we just called him once we had finished at the beach and he arrived in miniutes. Lesley is a fantastic host, and responded to our requests. We had the most incredible start to our trip and wished we had booked longer, we cant wait to return to CTN!

We had the most wonderful stay at Etamba House. This Geoffrey Bawa inspired property is beautiful and even better than the photos suggest. The rooms are huge and tastefully decorated with an elegant nod to Sri Lanka's past. The bathrooms are inside/outside with beautiful showers and plenty of space. The service from Michael and Shehan was exceptional. Breakfast is different each day with a set menu but they're flexible to your requests. the dinner that Talakshi prepares is wonderful (the portions are huge!). Can't say anything bad about this place. Go and stay there. Enjoy this beautiful home and the peace and quiet that surrounds it.

We had five nights at Villananda Villa. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a few days of R and R. We had just finished a bike ride through Sri Lanka and were looking for a bit of rest and peace. This place was excellent. Leading up to our visit Martin was excellent in his communication and very helpful. His manager Sampath was also excellent and very helpful organising transfers to and from the villa and also organising reliable Tuk Tuk drivers to take us to places of interest. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for Sampath. The real gems were the two young men looking after us and the villa. Unfortunately I didn't quite work out their names but they cooked and cleaned and looked after us like family. We ate all our evening meals at the villa from the menu on offer and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the Villa BBQ!! I think it was the best meal we had in our 3 weeks in Sri Lanka and it was cooked on a home made BBQ at the villa. Fantastic!!

We had a wonderful stay at Gayqn’s place. The place is stunning, just as beautiful as the photos, if not more so. With a private pool and direct access to the beach, it’s like your own little haven in Sri Lanka. The housekeeping staff kept the place beautifully clean and tidy (even with our 2 kids running around) and the resident chef cooked delicious breakfasts and dinners for us. Thank you to Charith and the whole team for a wonderful stay.

The house, the garden simply fantastic! The kitchen is a little small, but everything you need is there. The "gardener " cooked something for us in the evening, super delicious. The two guard dogs😂, two dear decent cuddles, welcomed us joyfully every day, our children as well as we were really happy with the two.
