Shari's place was a much needed reminder of the good old days of Airbnb - where this felt like staying at a friend's place rather than being just another customer to a business. Shari was very friendly, extremely thoughtful, and had great taste! From the personal message, to the travel soaps we were allowed to take, to the clutch snacks she had available, I felt genuinely taken care of. My fiance and I had been on the road traveling for weeks and this was the best place we stayed on our trip. It felt so nice to sit on the porch swing and listen to the birds while watching the lake from a great vantage point. I love outdoor showers and was delighted that was an option. We honestly didn't want to leave. I usually don't leave reviews, but this was the best Airbnb experience I've had in years.

Gloria & David were great hostess/host... they have a really beautiful home; the whole house was comfortable, clean and very well stocked with sheets, towels, etc.... we did enjoy staying there.. if we come back this way, I will definitely request their house... Thank you

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Annika's Isaac Read Cottage. We wanted a peaceful getaway from the city where we could be surrounded by greenery, and Annika's accommodation provided exactly that. The space was quiet, private, clean, and fully stocked with listed amenities and thoughtful extras like breakfast treats, fresh fruit, locally made bread, vegan butter, jam, orange juice, milk, oats, and coffee. The kitchen appliances were new and high quality, and the provided olive oil and spices made cooking very easy. We enjoyed the Luxury bathrobes. the separate, sunny backyard, and ability to do laundry before we left. Annika was very communicative, friendly, and accommodating. Before our arrival, she provided a downloadable online guide book with every detail of what to expect and helpful information. it made the entire process from check-in to check-out a breeze. The entire experience was very enjoyable and relaxing. We would definitely stay again!

The place is absolutely lovely. We’ve been to many airbnbs, but Bri outfitted this one with unexpected treats : cereal packets, fruit, milk for the coffee provided, even eggs! I only wish we could have stayed longer.

What a great stay with a generous host who was both helpful with suggestions and great with communication including weather updates(we had a winter storm during our stay. The wood burning stove was a romantic treat). We’d gladly go back and explore his waterfront campsites as well.

We had a fantastic time staying at Mima’s cabin. Although the challenging steps to the cabin were a workout - which was stated at the listing, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a great time fishing, and the views were simply breathtaking.

Sarah’s place was a great place for a little weekend getaway. A great location with walkable restaurants and monuments. The place was very clean, tidy, and spacious. A great place and location if you are looking to explore Jim Thorpe!
