Monthly Rentals in Pococí

Our stay at Eduardo’s cabin was nothing short of wonderful! The peace and quiet, the birds, the beautiful trail to the water, and of course the cabin. But one of the best parts was how well Eduardo looked after us! The cabin was even better than the photos. We had a very comfortable bed, and everything we needed in the kitchen. And the washer, dryer and Netflix were added perks! Javier was our driver who was so kind to be available to take us to the many locations and activities in the area. We went to a Saturday market in Guapiles, and there were also vendors and music at the park. We also visited Centro Manu and Nectar Pollen Reserve for birding. Eduardo has provided a binder with extensive information and suggestions. He has included brochures with Caribbean birds that may be seen in the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and a better host! Thank you, Eduardo for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Great place, highly recommend!

A jewel! Collated on the national park, we are in communion with the jungle . The house is beautiful, well equipped, cool and the terrace allows you to be immersed in nature. Monkeys and birds come around. The village of Tortuguero is charming. Host Cristina gave me great plans for memorable excursions, she is busy booking everything for me and even an exceptional massage on the terrace by a professional massage therapist. Really a perfect stay, I would highly recommend.

From the first foot set in the field the first impression is “OMG”. It is a beautiful and idyllic place much more beautiful and large than in the photos. We had a whole lot of land and the river to ourselves, at every corner there were wooden signs that explained facts about animals, the river, nature etc. The paths are delimited with stones, there are many spaces for his belongings and landing, everything is made of wood. We can see that the place was built meticulously and with love. That said, you're in the deep nature. Come well prepared! With extra pocket lamps, mosquito products, your appliances well loaded. In the evening, alone in nature, everything gets creepy.:) Fortunately, the presence of a big lock is reassuring In the evening we warmed up our food over the fire and in the morning we were woken up by howler monkeys just above our heads. Nice experience
