Our beautiful, cottage-style townhouse is welcoming and homely, just one minute from shops, bars, and restaurants. Originally created as a self contained home for my parents has been thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind. It offers wheelchair access through the front door, along with a large shower with grab handles, and a raised toilet. An open plan kitchen, dining and lounge are with very comfortable high backed electric recliner chairs.

This is my part-time home so, there's everything you need, including games, kitchen essentials, a comfy king size bed & 2 parking spaces. The cosy living room has a large dining table and a double comfy sofa bed. Perfect if you like a bold, colourful and clean place to stay. * This ground floor flat is not suited for most people with mobility issues. There is a sofa bed & the main bed is on a platform.

The cottage is a Grade II listed barn conversion offering a welcoming base for your stay. Heating is provided by a biomass boiler, so very eco friendly. There is also a wood burning stove to keep you cosy. We are in a quiet village called East Cottingwith: a fantastic base for visiting York and touring Yorkshire. Ideal for cyclists, bird watchers, walkers and anyone who wishes to enjoy a rural location close to the attractions of the city of York. There is no regular public transport.
