Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Pleasure Island

we really enjoyed our stay in Southport at Jarad's place. If we needed anything Jarad would respond very fast and took care of it. We loved the house and the updates to it were so nice. It was decorated so cute and we felt right at home. This house is close to Southport shops and the water and we would stay here again. We are looking forward to visiting again!

Tony is an excellent host and great communicator. Beautiful home and neighborhood. Close to everything.

Risako's place was beautiful, spotless, and had every convenience. Not only did we find everything we we had a need for throughout the week, but everything was in great condition as well. The kitchen was well stocked and it was fun to cook and eat there. The bathrooms were spotless, stocked with extra necessities, and had luxurious showers. In the main level living room, sectional was very comfortable and big enough for our family of 7 to fit on it comfortably for movie nights. We spent a lot of time on the deck, too, and the back yard was pretty and big enough for the kids to play in. Kure Beach was new to us and we loved it. Lots of beautiful homes and landscaping, a great neighborhood for walking, running, and biking and close to a paved bike trail that connects to a nice park. The house is a very short, easy walk to the beach while still being out of the way of most of the beach traffic, and we enjoyed walking to the pavilion for beach church and a concert.

Had another place under contract but cancellation due to mechanical issues. Found this location and it turned out to be the perfect place for our family vacation.

Our family of 4 loved staying at Hamlet House! The hosts have thought of everything down to lens cleaning wipes for cleaning salt water off your sunglasses! This home was well stocked and had everything we needed. Our young boys enjoyed bunking together and had plenty of room to play. The closeness to the beach is great. And we especially enjoyed swimming in the pool after being at the beach all morning. We rented a golf cart for trekking to the beach since our kids are so young. We did have to pay for parking every day which is my only negative comment about Carolina Beach but nothing negative to say about Hamlet House!

This was perfect for our group of 13 - 7 adults and 6 kids under 11. Great pool, toys, games, laundry and room to relax. Walk to the ocean with wagon and beach toys available. Would recommend this to any family traveling to Kure Beach. Thank you Jennifer for sharing your home and making our vacation perfect

We stayed at Adam’s place to attend the UNCW graduation ceremony. The location was great, the space was perfect, and the house was very comfortable. We will be back!!

Our stay at Kevin’s place was truly exceptional! The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt incredibly comfortable from the moment we walked in. The location was perfect, and the walk to the beach is short and easy. Kevin was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing great local recommendations and making us feel welcome. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, and kind gestures. Kevin is the best host I have ever had and the house is the best I have ever stayed in. I highly recommend Kevin’s utopia, next time I am in the area I will be returning! Thank you so much Kevin! ⭐️

Such a great place to stay! Had an amazing time, private but also right next to everything. You can walk to the beach/restaurants. Instructions and check-in was a breeze. Definitely would recommend and will come back again!!

Perfect, old-school beach getaway! We loved parking ourselves on the “lifeguard stand built for two” and just watching: the waves, the wildlife, the surfers, the sky…soooo relaxing and just what we needed to unwind for a few days. We loved the laid back vibe of the place and the hosts!

My daughter and I had a girls weekend. This was our first time at Kure Beach. The place is very nice. The walk to the beach was at most 5 minutes. The outdoor sitting area and fire pit was amazing. The host are very responsive. The internet was out and I messaged them and they responded quickly. It was resolved within 15 to 20 minutes. I highly recommend this place.

Great place, beach house energy!! Walkable to the beach, nice dock at the end of the road. Close to great restaurants and still convenient to Holden & Southport (25-30 min drive) we went to both for dinner. Also has great amenities with the beach equipment they have for guest, helped us as we didn’t come fully prepared as we normally do! Johnny (their Pup) was a sweet touch to say hey to when he was out with his people, the hostess, whom are both very friendly!!!! :) I’d recommend this house to anyone to stay at!

Harry was responsive and helpful. The place is walkable to downtown. We had a great stay.

Outstanding location. Easy access to Topsail and Wilmington. Beautiful layout and will return. Everything you needed or possibly wanted was there. Extremely friendly.

Kelly’s Cottage was the perfect get away. You can walk to plenty of restaurants and the beach. There’s so much to do, from events to the boardwalk and local attractions Carolina beach is very fun. The home was very clean, and Jack and Diane were lovely to meet.

We had a great stay at this apartment while visiting our daughter at UNCW with our young son. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to campus, restaurants, and everything we needed. The host was communicative and made check-in seamless. We would definitely stay here again on future visits!

This was our second visit to Jamey and Jeremy's cabins. Highly recommend. The cabins were constructed with planning all through the unit. From outside to inside. Very private. The best compliment I can give them is their "GOOD PEOPLE" Looking forward to our next visit. PS If your lucky enough they might make you biscuits and gravy.

Vincent and his wife are so sweet and greeted us right when we arrived with a smile and showed us around. The cabin is very quiet and cozy. They also gave us fresh eggs for our dogs which was very kind. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Also LGBTQ+ friendly and they made us feel right at home.

Great place to stay! Great for hanging out with friends and family. Very private. The host are great !! Very friendly. I’d say choose this place if you want to be near everything and also have privacy!!

Cozy Cabin was perfect for our family. Very clean and nice place. We used the Get Away house as well that was available during our stay. It was the perfect set up. And the fenced in back yard was very nice. We will return in the future for a future stay.

Cute cabin surrounded by a beautiful property. Very peaceful. There is a second cabin on the property next to each other; the only thing I would say is the garage door/window does not provide much privacy. If you have neighbors in the other cabin you can see right in. Maybe a tint the window would be helpful. Otherwise, the cabin is adorable and very clean. There is a cute porch to sit on and a fire pit!

This was our third visit to HH. It's safe to say this is our favorite place to stay in Wilmington. The rental is owner-occupied part of the year, and you can tell that the cottage and the grounds are loved. It's cozy, well-provisioned, and nicely maintained (there are new windows and sliding doors in the back that spiff up the Therapy Room and allow a clearer view of the many herons, cranes, egrets, and song birds we enjoyed). A sweet little house on a lovely spot on a marsh sums it up. The hosts are very responsive, going above and beyond in their always helpful--sometimes funny--communications. We'll be back!

The place was good and at decent distance between the wrightsville beach and wilmington downtown .. we thoroughly enjoyed the stay
