This is a stand-alone home, about 50 yards away from the main house which allows you total privacy. Relax and enjoy our newly remodeled one Bedroom one Bath. 1,100 sq. ft. built in 2006 with Heat & A/C. Bedroom with king size bed. Please make yourself at home & enjoy the scenery or visit the local wineries, apple farms, shopping, & dining experiences.

Granny's farm; Wineries, Views, Gardens, Animals

Rural area 20 minutes from Placerville. Surrounded by 25 Wineries in Somerset and Fairplay. Apple Hill 20 minutes. Rivers, lake, hiking trails all close by. Skiing 45 minutes Choice of good restaurants, Great grocery store, all minutes away. Spacious living, In-Law unit located below my home. Separate and completely private. Patio, yard, parking and entry door, all private and separate. Gated security. Sheep and Tortoises live here. Welcome to visit them. I can provide treats to feed.

The Hatchery at Heather Hill

The "Hatchery" is a bright and cheery cottage nestled in the Sierra foothills. Our guest house is attached to our main residence, on a 10.9 acre parcel, down a private road. We are here if you need us, but respect your privacy if not! We are 12 miles from Placerville, 7 miles from Apple Hill and close to local wineries. For winter fun, we are 43 miles (drive time 1 hour) from Sierra at Tahoe. Please note: We are NOT close to the freeway, and there are several windy roads in and out of our area.

Whispering Pines Apartment

The fall colors are spectacular for a hike up scenic Highway 88! Our apartment is located under our main house, with its own keyless private entrance. You'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting among tall pines, with wildlife abound. Amador County is rich in gold mining history, and has many charming gold rush towns for you to visit. If your travel journeys include both Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, we are conveniently located between the two ( 2 1/2 hours from Yosemite, and 1 and 1/2 from Tahoe)

Casita in Wine Country

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The hosts live on sight but enjoy sharing their beautiful view from this separate Casita. There is a fun 1 mile hike on the property. Only 5-10 minute drive to local wineries. The quaint town of Plymouth is a 10 minute drive which hosts Taste, a 5 Star restaurant. Black Chasm Caverns is a 30 minute drive as well as Jackson Rancheria Casino. Kirkwood Skiing is an hour drive. We have a Tesla charging station for an additional $20 a night.

This historic miner's cabin, which has been renovated, is located in the heart of Apple Hill, in the Sierra Nevada foothills, and overlooks a small meadow and creek. Walk to nearby farms, breweries & wineries or just relax on the back deck and enjoy the scenery. Visit historic Placerville, its galleries, restaurants, shops & more! Raft, ski, kayak, or just explore our 40-acre farm trails! (We are pet friendly.)
