Beachfront holiday rental in Plainview

We stayed at the cozy beach cottage for a "girls trip" for three busy moms looking for a peaceful retreat for the weekend. The house was just as described - cute, clean, and cozy. We appreciated Kenzi's attention to detail and clear instructions, as well as local restaurant recommendations. This house is one block from the ocean; an easy stroll to watch the sunset from beach. We appreciate that the house had everything we needed and required no tasks for checkout. Thank you Kenzi for allowing us a weekend of rest and relaxation!

This home exceeded our expectations! The location of this home was just beautiful. The home itself was very roomy yet cozy for 2 families with 3 children to enjoy. It was also super clean. This Airbnb had the best equipped kitchen i’ve ever seen in a rental with plenty of good quality pots, pans, dishes bowls, various glassware for cocktails, and grilling tools. Even plenty of plastic dishes for kids, ziplock bags and plastic wrap! No detail was forgotten. There are plenty of areas to enjoy meals or just hang out inside the house , out on the deck or on the patio. I also wanted to mention there were plenty of towels, extra pillows and bedding for all 7 of us. I didn’t have any issues but reached out to Matthew to let him know we were very pleased with his home and he responded right away. Matthew’s home provided us with the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful family vacation in Emerald Isle and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

Our second stay at this beautiful location. You can't beat the view and proximity to the beach. The owner is very responsive, and communication was timely and clear.

Well equipped house within very short walking distance to quite, private beach. Great amenities -- including bikes, kayak and paddle board. Private beach was gorgeous and very dog friendly, water was calm and shallow. Short driving distance to Lewes for great food, including terrific crabs.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kearney Castle and we will definitely be back. The rental was in the perfect location and the views of the ocean were perfection. I love that the owners allow us to bring our dogs. They loved the beach too! The hosts recommendations for local restaurants were spot on. We loved Mulligans and Noosa Beach Grille. The deck was awesome also. we visited off season but the street was quiet and the beach was mostly empty, which we loved for the dogs! The house isn't brand new but that's what we loved. We loved the handwritten note instructions on the fridge and the sea shell shelf as a guest book of memories for all the past guests!

Michelle’s home is pristinely clean and beautiful! The layout is perfect for a group. The elevator was so helpful for my ADA needs, as well as in general for our groceries and luggage. Between the two decks and fenced backyard, there are multiple outdoor ocean side options for relaxing, meals, or games. Our group also really enjoyed the kayak. Michelle is a great communicator and so hospitable. Highly recommend, and we look forward to a future stay.

Space was perfect for us staying as a family of 6. Bedrooms were great and the home offered plenty of space throughout. Awesome backyard, although we did not really use - very close beach access. Had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend!

Beautiful place with modern upgrades. Access to the beach was super close and just a block away. Neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed walking our dog in the nearby park. We look forward to returning.

The house is well designed to accommodate 12 people. We celebrated thanksgiving together here and it was perfect to all be in one area of the house to enjoy dinner, games, and conversation. The balcony has ocean view and the beach is right there. It’s a wonderful house with a very responsive and friendly host. We all had a marvelous time and felt right at home.

Perfect location for a Thanksgiving get away. Super close to the ocean and the little downtown area. Access to Morehead City and beautiful Beaufort is just minutes away. The house efficiently packs 3 bedrooms and 3 baths with a fully loaded kitchen. Beautiful sunsets and amazing ocean walks. Communication with Steve is a solid 10!!!

Great place and fantastic location. End unit on a townhouse with a shared pool and public beach access, but still felt private and you're on the beach in seconds...you couldn't get any closer! The deck with view was absolutely stunning and perfect of you enjoy people watching :) The host was very responsive and helpful; I particularly liked the list of local eats/activities (I would have underlined Shaka Taco if I had a piece of chalk!). Definitely recommend!

Lisa’s place was the perfect beach getaway for our family. We loved being able to walk to the beach easily, sit out on the patio, eat meals in. She had everything we needed to make our trip seamless.

What a beautiful home just steps from the ocean. Our group of 8 high school friends had a great time and appreciated the beautiful accommodations. Bedrooms are varied and well-separated for privacy. Lots of doors to access to the rear deck, pool, hot tub, and beach. The kitchen is a gourmet's delight with a great selection of cookware and tableware. We would have appreciated a few more essentials in the kitchen and bathroom.

This home is absolutely beautiful. I loved being able to wake up early and watch the sun rise over the Chesapeake bay. Even though it was cold the kids enjoyed splashing in the water with their rain boots. We spent the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at colonial Williamsburg. Afterwards we ate at Captain George’s, a place Tas recommended. It was absolutely worth it. I was also pleased with being able to make a good Thanksgiving meal. The stay was relaxing and peaceful. We would love to come back in the near future.

Our stay at Timothy’s place was excellent. The weather was terrible during our stay due to a tropical storm, but the beautiful house made up for the weather. Timothy has thoroughly thought of every detail in the home. It is beautifully furnished and decorated. It has a great outdoor space. There were plenty of televisions to keep everyone happy given the weather. The hot tub is frequently serviced and clean. It has a very nice outdoor tub as well. The outdoor showers are beautiful and well designed. He has hoses on every level to minimize tracking sand into the house. We felt very relaxed. We would definitely recommend Timothy’s place. Very responsive host. Timothy definitely cares about his property and the comfort of his guests. We would come back and recommend this house.

We visited Ronnie’s beach house in April, and it was welcoming and peaceful. When we arrived, we noticed some new wood on the steps and a wreath on the door. Those initial observations gave us a feeling that the owners care about presentation and maintenance of their place. Upon entry, our daughter said it smelled clean which was another relieving detail. Beds were made, linens were fresh, and the overall space was comfortable. I was looking for a peaceful retreat right on the beach, and this place was therapeutic for me. Ronnie was responsive and answered any questions I had in a timely manner. The owners have a great recommendation for a breakfast place, and our favorite restaurant was The Shuckin’ Shack. It was hard to leave the sounds of the ocean to return back to our busy schedules. Hope you enjoy a stay as much as we did.

This place was perfect for my wife and our dogs! Beachfront location is amazing! Updated, beautiful & fully stocked kitchen was helpful. Host was extremely responsive, very timely and answered all our questions. We will definitely look into staying here again!

The home was very quaint and clean. Great views and location. Emily was very responsive and accommodating our needs. We appreciate her sharing her home with us.

Loved this week and Samantha was very responsive to our questions throughout the week. We loved how close to the beach we were and how quiet our surroundings were all week even being in a townhouse with neighbors on both sides. Lots of amenities from beach gear to bathroom hand soap to kitchen needs.

Our stay here was phenomenal!! Nhiza was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The house is right beside a public beach access so we were able to walk to the water very easily. It was also well stocked with dishes and towels for us to use. I would definitely stay here again!!

Erin's beach house was a piece of paradise!! Erin was responsive! My kids loved the beach and relaxing in the sunroom! We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the warmer months!!
