Bungalow holiday rentals in Plainview

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The location was superb and very low key since it was off-season. The bungalow is super cute and well worth the price. Stefania and Ryan are great hosts and the attention to detail was amazing. I would book with Stefania and Ryan again.

Had an amazing time here and didn’t want to leave! Our favorites were the location (across the street from the beach) and hot tub. I was especially impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was - we never needed to buy coffee or spices for cooking.

You will be surprised to be able to see the sunrise from your bedroom, have cocktails on a little beach on the brackish Shrewsbury River with windsurfers trying their luck, walk to Bahr's seafood resto or Proving Ground tavern with good beer and food and views -- great location and quiet at night and interesting to watch clammers ride out in their little boats in the morning.

This is a beautiful, serene, super clean home and the surrounding area is incredible. Talai helped us feel right at home throughout our stay and did a great job addressing a few minor hiccups that occurred due to a storm right before we arrived. Based on these interactions as well as the lovely, thoughtful touches throughout the home, really made me feel like this is a place where people have invested in a unique and beautiful space they really care about. It really stood out amongst so many airbnbs that, while clean and well-appointed, can feel a bit sterile. In short, I would recommend this place to anyone ! A note to future visitors that the walk to the sand is 5 minutes and there is also a very long sandy beach to traverse, too. It was fine for us but it's something to know if you're not familiar with the area, which has a wide beach.

Perfect location for a Thanksgiving get away. Super close to the ocean and the little downtown area. Access to Morehead City and beautiful Beaufort is just minutes away. The house efficiently packs 3 bedrooms and 3 baths with a fully loaded kitchen. Beautiful sunsets and amazing ocean walks. Communication with Steve is a solid 10!!!

William was a wonderful host for our family members in town after we had to get them out abruptly from another stay due to a safety concern. He accommodated an early check in and early check out and was very kind in his communications. He even offered a military discount which we so very much appreciated after being out the money from the first stay. The place was larger than it looks from the outside, right by the water and nicely decorated. Backyard would have been great with pets. Very close to all local restaurants and boardwalk! If we have family in town again we will certainly rebook! Thank you again!

I had a very enjoyable stay. The cottage was spotless, very clean, beds were comfortable, it was exactly how it is depicted and described. I needed a place to decompress after my dad’s funeral and this was just the place. I traveled with my German Shepherd and we were able to take long walks on the beach right across the street. The host was very responsive to any questions I had and communicated when the place was ready early. Would totally recommend.

Andria was amazing! So responsive and really helped our family. The home was a short walk or drive to a beautiful beach. We went to a few of the restaurants and they were delicious. Loved the local playground for our toddler and COVA brewing was fun all times of day. The house was just like the photos, well equipped and the perfect getaway. Thank you Andria!

We had the most wonderful experience at this charming property! The space was exactly as pictured - even better in person, actually! And to be able to use the sauna after our workouts was amazing. The location couldn't have been more perfect. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the bed was very comfortable. Our host, Anne, was exceptional. She provided clear check-in instructions and responded quickly to our questions. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a home away from home. Thank you for making our vacation so special!

We had a sisters weekend at Connie's and it was great! Her home was so cozy and comfortable and well stocked with everything you might need. She was very attentive and communication with her was always so fast. We even had the chance to meet her, and she was so nice! We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 4 weeks and everything met our needs. Very quiet and private with a large fenced yard for our dog! The place is clean and comfortable. Perfect for a couple. Frank was very informative and responsive too. We would definitely stay here again!

Just spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Bugaboo. What a delightful house. I arrived late Wednesday night and quickly discovered there was no running water. With Thanksgiving being the next day, I assumed nothing could be done until Friday. However, much to my surprise, Rita and Elaine were right on it, knocking on the door early Thursday morning to let me know that water would be restored within hours. And it was! I was so impressed with the quick response and handling of the situation. Before checking out on Sunday, Elaine again visited and told me I didn’t have to rush to be out of the house at checkout time because no one was coming in that day. Again, pleasantly surprised and appreciative. The icing on the cake was that the host reimbursed me for one night’s stay because of the water situation even though I didn’t ask for it or expect it. I definitely plan to rent Bugaboo again. It’s clean, has nice furniture, a most comfortable bed, a great kitchen and a great location!

It was the perfect girls weekend getaway. We enjoyed coffee on the back porch. The beds were great. The recommendations for local spots were much appreciated! We enjoyed the local neighborhood animal visits as well, haha, from the cats and dogs, to the rooster alarm, and one backyard box turtle (all outside, of course!). We loved this sweet little getaway! It was peaceful and just what we envisioned! Everything was well thought out for this place! Thank you so much!!!

My dog and I had a fabulous stay at Melissa's farm. The accommodations are really a very well appointed tiny home. It has a lovely screened in porch overlooking the farm. The home is clean with modern finishes and decor and full-sized modern appliances. The farm is immaculate. It was a pleasure to walk between the pastures and watch the horses. There are many restaurants nearby. Melissa is a wonderful, friendly host. I highly recommend!

The place was perfect. It was exactly what I needed, in a great location. I would not hesitate for a moment to stay there again. -Scott
