Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Pittsfield Township

My stay at the Rock House was incredible -- absolutely one of the most unique, spotless, adorned, and beautiful homes I've had the fortune to stay in. Tamela was proactively helpful, gracious, and curates a comprehensively equipped space -- everything you could hope for in an Airbnb host! I appreciated all of the touches that made my stay seamless, as well as the very comfortable beds. The location is also very peaceful, historic, and walkable. 10/10 stay; do yourself a favor and stay at the Rock House whenever you find yourself in the greater Detroit area!

My family had a great time staying at The Little Big House. The place was really comfortable and walking distance to downtown and UMich’s Central Campus. There was also a farm store right next door which was super convenient for us. Would love to stay there again if we have the opportunity to come back someday

Super clean and comfortable house. Great place to stay with adult family members. Giant couch / tv for when you need a break. Kitchen is well stocked and everything is in great working order. Only 15 mins from downtown AA. Too bad it rained the night we were at home, we didn't get a chance to use the beautiful yard and firepit. Highly recommend.

Joanne was hands down the best host I've ever had on Airbnb! I've stayed at several lovely places before, but Joanne truly went above and beyond. Her home is beautifully curated and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Her communication was warm, responsive, and incredibly accommodating throughout my stay. The location is just as amazing—gorgeous river views, a peaceful patio, and a spotless hot tub, all right in the heart of downtown Dexter. Staying at Joanne’s place was such a treat, and it’s definitely a trip I’d take again. Thank you, Joanne, for making it so special! :)

It looks exactly like the photos but the lake is prettier in person. Daniel was very responsive during the entire process and made sure we’d have everything we needed. Made my birthday very special! Definitely plan on booking again in the future.

This was, by far, the best air bnb we have stayed at! Fully stocked with all the extras, beautifully clean! The view was gorgeous, sound of the water so peaceful! Thank you so much for your thoughtful preparations! We’re not able to use the kayaks, water was a bit rough and still cool! But, we had loads of fun! Would love to come again!

The only thing that matched how great this place was, is the nostalgia we felt being so close to the Big House. Great location. Excellent amenities and fun for all. If you’re in Ann Arbor or even if you’re visiting Detroit, I’d highly recommend.

Has a real “Wow”factor as soon as you walk in the door. The upper bedroom area is amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The back deck and yard, the view….Wow again. Along with the usual suspects we regularly saw Bald eagles, Osprey, Egrets and a Pelican. The surrounding area is beautiful. I highly recommend Red Door Retreat. Despite how wonderful it shows in the photos. It exceeded our expectations. Would not hesitate to return.

This was a lovely place to stay near campus with my three children! Clean and comfortable, and the host even had a small chest of toys for the kids. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Navy Yard Flats. Prime location, beautiful unit, responsive host. Jason was lovely. Very helpful and went above & beyond. We liked the central location. Parking was manageable for us. Our boys loved playing in the park across the street and ice cream shop next door. I loved the cafes close by. If you are a light sleep or have Littles, I would bring a fan for the one bedroom. Overall it was a great stay and we will be booking again with Jason this summer.

My husband and I stayed here right after our wedding. Just a little getaway after all the fun and craziness. The Airbnb was beautiful and exactly like described in the description and photos! It had a sauna, a beautiful bathroom with a separate shower and tub, and a beer on tap, which was a fun little bonus! The balcony was our favorite part. We sat outside in the mornings with a coffee and enjoyed the views (and honestly the people watching lol). The lake is literally across the street and the 3 minute walk was awesome. Overall a wonderful experience! Highly recommend if you need a quick getaway or want to treat yourself to a more “high tech” luxury apartment 🥰

This was my first Airbnb stay and it was great. The stairs are super steep, that’s my only concern because of my bad knee, but I’d still stay there again. The unit was very clean, organized and all the furniture was very comfortable. The location was great, the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. The host was helpful and quickly responded. My flight was delayed almost 6 hours and he made sure the front light was on for me. 😊

Cassandra was super awesome😌 I made a long drive from the bottom of the states and the house was very welcoming. Any issues or questions I had, she was very responsive and thorough especially considering I was unfamiliar with the area. I enjoyed my stay and felt safe (solo woman traveler). Absolutely amazing location for what I needed and the place was super clean and excatly what was listed. However, the rental above had some extremely loud kids and a crying toddler. I didn't say anything to Sierra though because we were already packing up and getting ready to leave but I could see how this could be very annoying to someone who is there long term especially since this was from 7am-10am. I also found that there was no full length mirror but its definitely not needed unless you're looking for improvements :) overall, this was a good stay, very clean, easy to find and check in. Would stay again if I ever needed to. Thanks !

This place is awesome! I was with my 9 & 11 year old and they loved it too. It was close to great food and attractions, the apartment had lots of fun toys and games, and so quiet, especially for being right down town. It was open, spacious, and we felt very safe/secure during our stay. We’d love to come back soon!

We had the most wonderful time and we felt treated like royalty. Susan welcomed us to a kitchen full of goodies (fancy ones) and Christmas stockings! We already miss her place, everything was perfect! Thank you, Susan and Charlotte!

I wish we could had enjoy the downstairs uni more. Its quiet neighbourhood and the house was clean. I enjoyed the fire place. The house was alright. I enjoy looking out the window. The basement unit gets plenty of sun. ☀️ I love the nearby restaurants and scenery. We LOVED this area Walmart and farm shops.

Zarifa is simply the best host out there. Very responsive, attentive and polite. She truly wants your stay to be the best. I would book with her every time if I could!

I highly recommend this house. I spent a week there and found it to be very peaceful, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. I’d also like to highlight how incredible Blessing is—attentive, kind, and always ready to help throughout my stay.

We enjoyed staying at Joe’s place for the weekend. It was walkable to the volleyball tournament we were playing and it was nice to hangout in the hot tub after a long day! Everything was very clean and very cute decorations for a lake house.

A great location for our trip to visit family in Grosse Pointe. We had a lovely stay, and will stay here again if we can.

It was our second time staying at Ian's place, we had a great time once again! Easy to find and in a nice and safe neighborhood. The small appartments make it easy to have privacy even when travelling as a group. Highly recommend!

Hosts were friendly, helpful, and informative. Beautiful and peaceful property with loads to do. Travelers of all ages can find something to do on this property and in the surrounding park areas.

This place absolutely perfect! Zoha and Samina went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe. I felt like I was at home. So close to all the places like food, mall, restaurants. The most important thing I loved is the garden, so so pretty and so much work put into it, nature is my favorite so I truly appreciate it, the view from my window was so so beautiful. The place was truly amazing, everything was so easy. Hosts let check out a little later cause I started work later in the evening and that was so sweet of them. If you want private, peaceful, homey neighborhood this one’s for you. They literally have everything you need. Both Zoha and Samina are so kind and thoughtful, cannot recommend it enough. Definitely coming back!!! Thank you so such a wonderful hospitality!
