Beautiful place, very well located house, close to the sea (3min. walk) and from point to bath overlooking the other island. Rise and sunset magnificos. Very close to excellent spots to enjoy the sea. Bons restuarantes nearby. 25 minutes from the boats to the other islands, S. Jorge and Faial. Perfect for 4 people but can be for 5. Very well furnished house, a private place to park the car. Very friendly and friendly host. Perfect stay, recommend it. Returning to Pico Island I will have no doubt in repeating it again.

Waka is a beautiful and peaceful place. Paula did such a wonderful job at renovating it. If you are drawn to beauty in many little details, this is for you. As a family of 5 we had lots of space to spread out and the house is well located to explore the island.

The best accomodation where we have ever been. Awesome people with perfect approach

This comfortable cottage is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting near the bottom of a steep & curvy road. There is a lovely side view over the church to the neighboring faja & sea from the front of the house. The area is remote, and there are no large grocery stores or restaurants nearby. We bought food in Velas and were able to cook in the well equipped kitchen and dine on the front patio. Walking in the neighborhood is fairly limited. Having a car is essential to access other parts of the island. We did not get to meet Anabela, but she was quick to respond to questions and offered an easy and flexible check in/out. However, we had trouble finding the home. It was rainy and foggy upon on our arrival which made it more difficult, but using the recommended Waze app still took us to the wrong location. Make sure you have proper coordinates before starting your journey. Highly recommended for a quiet and relaxing get away.

We had a great stay here. The view from terrace is amazing and also the house itself is very cute, clean and equipped with everything you need.

Great place to stay, and facilities were great! Was so nice to have a pool and jacuzzi and the location was great for going to all parts of the island.

Our vacation with Grandma and Grandpa was a great experience on the island of Pico and in the wonderful house of James. The house with pool was our favorite in the selection, so there is something for everyone. View, swimming area, pool, cozy retreats in the house and in front of it. It has everything you want. Only the weather cannot be influenced and therefore we still have an account to settle with Montana de Pico. That's why we'll come back and, if possible, definitely to James'.

Absolutely stunning house and views - loved sleeping to the sounds of the ocean, plus the pool is amazing. Loved the traditional decor / furniture too.

We felt right at home on Maresia's board. She took us everywhere we wanted to go, even if she had to fight at the cowroads. We had a clear starry night, a beautiful sunrise with top views of Pico, quiet evenings and beautiful excursions. Andresa and Bruno welcomed us very nicely and had prepared a great surprise for our honeymoon. That was really a highlight of our trip.

Mario and Carla were really kind and sweet, left us local things to try and made us feel at home from the really first moment. The house was clean and really nice to be in. We really suggest this peaceful location for a stay in Pico.

Very pleasant stay at Ivone's: typical house, well appointed in a quiet environment with views of the banana trees, the ocean in the background and a covered terrace to enjoy. We were very well received by our host, who was very considerate and responsive. Thank you very much! I would recommend this place for a quiet stay in Pico.

Fabulous stay in this lovely house. Guiomar is a fabulous host, we were welcomed with baking and cookies which was lovely after a long journey and came back to help out when we had a problem.. Weather usually was better at the house than other places on the island and we enjoyed sitting outside watching the waves. Flexibility on departure was really appreciated as our flight was delayed 2.5 hours at short notice. Thank you

We had a very nice stay at the place. You could sit comfortably at the table, open the sliding windows wide, so you almost sat on the promenade overlooking Pico. Only small point of criticism for people with light sleep: the cars and motorcycles that drive across the cobblestone street in front of the house are very noisy, but not many.

Great place, well located at madalena near to the main island road, 20min for Sao jorque and 25 min for larjes do pico. Lot of space that's perfect for a family, our children loves the garden. I strongly recommend this house!
