Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Pico Island

Mario and Carla were really kind and sweet, left us local things to try and made us feel at home from the really first moment. The house was clean and really nice to be in. We really suggest this peaceful location for a stay in Pico.

Maison très bien située sur l’île, pas loin de Madalena et pas loin de l'aéroport, très peu d'avion donc pas de nuisances sonores. Un beau jardin, vu sur l’océan et sur le volcan Pico. Le point négatif le portail est en panne je pense depuis un certain temps et la voiture est obligée de rester sur la route. Pour un séjour de 10 jours comme nous avons fait il n'y a pas de machine à laver le linge et c'est un peu gênant. Sinon maison confortable.

Fijne week gehad in het complete huis. Al het inventaris aanwezig. Veel privacy en prachtig uitzicht vanaf bovenste terras. Rustig gelegen en op loopafstand van het haventje én het prachtige natuurlijke zwembad. Vriendelijk ontvangst van Luísa. We hebben genoten van dit heerlijke veelzijdige eiland.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans le logement. La vue et l'accès sur la baie, la baignade très sécurisée avec notre enfant, c'était parfait. Faial, notre coup de cœur.

Antonio è stato un host perfetto: gentilissimo, molto disponibile e insieme assolutamente discreto. Ha fatto in modo che il nostro soggiorno fosse indimenticabile, anche grazie alla preziosa collaborazione di Alexandra. La casa è bellissima, posizionata in un angolo di paradiso immerso in una natura mozzafiato. È stato difficile dover lasciare un luogo e persone così eccezionali. Speriamo di poterci tornare.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit hier, der Blick von der Terrasse war immer ein absolutes Highlight. Anton und Steffi sind tolle Gastgeber und das Haus war mit allem Benötigten gut ausgestattet.

La maison de Maud est très jolie, la vue sur l'océan est magnifique. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour, la communication avec Maud était rapide et simple. Nous avons souvent fait la cuisine et il y avait tous les ustensiles nécessaires, et même quelques provisions. Le parking était plus compliqué, comme indiqué dans l'annonce, et nous avons préféré nous garer en face de la maison sur le bord de la route. Les voitures passent assez proche de la maison, mais une fois les volets fermés le bruit est limité. La maison est humide et il n'y a qu'un déshumidificateur, s'il pouvait y en avait un dans chaque pièce ça serait plus efficace. Nous recommandons la maison de Maud pour votre séjour à Pico !

Amazing view and accommodation had everything you needed. Shared pool and jacuzzi were great. Lovely stay!

Unseren Urlaub mit Oma und Opa war ein tolles Erlebnis auf der Insel Pico und in dem wundervollen Haus von James. Das Haus mit Pool war unser Favorit in der Auswahl, damit für jeden etwas dabei ist. Aussicht, Badestelle, Pool, gemütliche Rückzugsorte im Haus und davor. Es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Nur das Wetter kann man nicht beeinflussen und deshalb haben wir mit dem Montana de Pico noch eine Rechnung offen. Deshalb kommen wir wieder und wenn möglich, sicher zu James.

Absolutely stunning house and views - loved sleeping to the sounds of the ocean, plus the pool is amazing. Loved the traditional decor / furniture too.

Wir haben uns an Board von Maresia direkt aehr wohl gefühlt. Sie hat uns überall hin gebracht, wo wir hin wollten, auch wenn sie auf den Cowroads etwas kämpfen musste. Wir hatten eine klare Sternennacht, einen schönen Sonnenaufgang mit Top-Sicht auf Pico, ruhige Abende und schöne Ausflüge. Andresa und Bruno haben uns sehr schön empfangen und hatten eine tolle Überraschung für unsere Flitterwochen vorbereitet. Das war wirklich ein Highlight unserer Reise.

Francesca is an outstanding host. This was by far one of the nicest Airbnb’s I have stayed in— tastefully decorated, well laid out and very clean. And the pillows!! So comfortable and thoughtfully set up. Thank you Francesca!!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem Haus sehr genossen! Wohnung ist sehr groß und einfach perfekt. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Direkt neben der Haustür eine sehr schöner, schwarzer Sandstrand der anderen Touristen nicht sonderlich bekannt ist. Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt.

Local lindo, casa muito bem localizada, perto do mar (3min. a pé) e de ponto para tomar banho com vista para a outra ilha. Nascer e por do sol magnificos. Muito perto de pontos excelentes para desfrutar do mar. Bons restuarantes perto. A 25 minutos dos barcos para as outras ilhas, S. Jorge e Faial. Perfeito para 4 pessoas mas pode ser para 5. Casa muito bem apetrechada, local privativo para estacionar o carro. Anfitrião muito amigável e simpático. Estadia perfeita, recomendo. Voltando à Ilha do Pico não terei dúvidas em voltar a repetir.

Casa espaçosa, bem cuidada e equipada. Localizada numa zona tranquila, freguesia de Santo Amaro, perto do mar. Tem perto uma mercearia/café, a 5 min a pé. Anfitrião muito comunicativo e prestável, com ótimas sugestões. Voltaremos! 5 estrelas ☺️

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gemütlich. Vor allem die private Terrasse und der gemeinschaftlich genutzte Garten mit den Tieren und tollen Blick auf den Pico haben uns super gefallen. Maria ist eine äußerst nette Gastgeberin. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen große. Korb mit regionalen Leckereien sowie einen Obstkorb und sogar einen selbstgebackenen Kuchen. So viel Gastfreundschaft erlebt man wirklich selten.

Das Haus liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend und von der Terrasse aus hat man einen herrlichen Blick zum Meer. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns der baustil mit den typischen dunklen vulkansteinen. Die küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es ist alles sauber. Jedenfalls empfehlenswert!

Great location! Direct views of the ocean and Pico island. Immediately next to a bakery that seems to always be open for every meal. Easy access to shops, restaurants, the ferry. Parking was never an issue. Everything inside the place worked well too. Good AC. Plenty of room for two. Laundry was good. Size of the shower/tub is on the small side, so be careful if you require more space to bath. Host was great, very helpful and even let us check in early and out late. Would stay again!

Sao Jorge is a hidden gem island and Amaro “Filipe” is a gem of a host! The eco accommodation is in a spectacular location with gorgeous views and charming surroundings. Our bungalow was spacious, with a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and a covered porch facing Pico. Filipe is very friendly and helpful, and as a native of the island, he is a wealth of knowledge about things to do. We liked the place so much, we arranged to stay another night. If I return to Sao Jorge someday, this is where I will stay!
