Family-friendly holiday rentals in Pico Island

I highly recommend it.

The appartment was perfect for two people. The view was beautiful and definitely a highlight. A rental car is necessary since there isn’t much within walking distance. Two cats live there when you're outside on the balcony—it was always nice to have them nearby. Another great feature was the whirlpool, which made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, a wonderful stay! We can highly recommend appartement T0.

Extremely nice "park" where you stay. It is nice and quiet and the cottage is spacious, beautiful and typical in Azorean style. The pool is lovely and in a good place, the jacuzzi makes it extra fun. It is a 30-minute drive from the cottage to most attractions and nice restaurants.

There are three separate apartments in the accommodation house. All are in top condition, with a great view and well equipped. Unfortunately, the kitchen is missing the essentials like oil and spices, which would have been nice. Otherwise, there is little to complain about, especially if you like cats you enjoy the daily visit of the walkers. And of course the hot tub is not to be forgotten as a highlight 👏

Great place to stay, and facilities were great! Was so nice to have a pool and jacuzzi and the location was great for going to all parts of the island.

This was a great stay, but definitely listen to the other comments about humidity, everything is a little damp. The hot tub was amazing, the kitchen is small but does the trick, and the floors are a bit funky under foot.

An unforgettable experience. Lorenzo was very helpful and very nice in sharing his life at sea with us. Highly recommended!

Mario and Carla were really kind and sweet, left us local things to try and made us feel at home from the really first moment. The house was clean and really nice to be in. We really suggest this peaceful location for a stay in Pico.

We had a great time at this cosy dwelling. The beautiful vista to Faial island was certainly a plus!

Fabulous stay in this lovely house. Guiomar is a fabulous host, we were welcomed with baking and cookies which was lovely after a long journey and came back to help out when we had a problem.. Weather usually was better at the house than other places on the island and we enjoyed sitting outside watching the waves. Flexibility on departure was really appreciated as our flight was delayed 2.5 hours at short notice. Thank you

We had a great time at the place. The view and access to the bay, very safe swimming with our child, it was perfect. Faial, our favourite.

Beautifully located house with nice sea view. House is very well maintained and clean. Cesar and Therese are very good hosts. Everything was present in the house and that is sometimes different for some accommodations. You had to drive a little further for groceries, but we found that no problem.

Accommodation in a very good location, beautiful environment. A few essentials present that help. Perfect for two people, no more. Interaction with the host is limited to what you need. Clean and well-maintained space.

Our most loved stay in the Azores! Stunning view, property is as described and really well furnished to cook and enjoy a meal and glass of wine on the large patio. Will definitely come back!

No words can describe our experience at this amazing vila. It was absolutely amazing: the house itself is very well located, the views are stunning. Marcos and Diana were very helpful in everything we needed. Pico island is an amazing place on earth and to get to know the island like we did was only possible with this 5 star accommodation. We chilled, we had swims in the infinity pool, had great barbecues…I will be back for sure. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Marcos for all the hospitality and kindness.

The views from our Lava home were absolutely incredible! The free breakfast was good ,loved the Portuguese pastries and cake .All the staff that we encountered were pleasant and helpful . We ate at Magma several times and the food was very good . The only thing we didn’t like was the mattress,just a bit firm for us .

A special place, very quiet, clean, excellent for babies and children. We became two families, very spacious, with all the necessary utensils available and a spectacular host, always available to meet us. We felt at home.

Our vacation with Grandma and Grandpa was a great experience on the island of Pico and in the wonderful house of James. The house with pool was our favorite in the selection, so there is something for everyone. View, swimming area, pool, cozy retreats in the house and in front of it. It has everything you want. Only the weather cannot be influenced and therefore we still have an account to settle with Montana de Pico. That's why we'll come back and, if possible, definitely to James'.

This is an incredible property. Every detail has been thought of. The views are insane and the house is decorated impeccably. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food at Magma, their onsight restaurant, was the best we had in Pico. The pool and yoga studio, just breath taking. We loved our entire stay here and will return. Like others have said, the driveway is steep. Grab an automatic or be proficient with your manual car. We had a 7 person manual van and managed fine but we are comfortable with manual drive. Highly recommend!!! We didn't want to leave.

We enjoyed the house and the large garden including outdoor kitchen and pool very much. We really appreciated the quiet location and the very good kitchen facilities. Everything was as described and communication worked well. All good thank you so much!

This little apartment was a cute clean place to stay. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of fans as sometimes the islands get warm. The kitchen was fully stocked. We felt right at home. I stayed with my husband and son and my mom and dad also stayed in another room. My dad is hard to please and he said these people have a nice thing going on here. I recommend this place to everyone.
