Irina’s cottage is lovely! Very spacious and comfortable, elegantly furnished, and cool even in hot weather,. The rooms have large picture windows with spectacular views of Chalk Lake. Irina was a very gracious and helpful host. The lake itself is very quiet and serene, perfect for swimming and kayaking.

We had a great time for our girls weekend! Very beautiful landscape and property, the house is fully stocked with everything you could need for your stay and more. Comfortable sleeping areas and living spaces. Christine from cottage link was super quick to help us when we needed assistance. Thanks so much for hosting us, we will for sure be booking again 🧡

This cottage was a lot of fun for the whole family! We went to celebrate my parent’s 40th anniversary. There was ample space for everyone. There was a lot of fun stuff for the kids to do and play with. The one thing I will note is that the outdoor bunker shed was unusable and there were some other things that could use repairs or replacement in the house - this didn’t affect our over all stay much though. If they will have us again, we would love to come back and enjoy the cottage again. The property was very private. Great, peaceful neighbourhood with friendly and welcoming neighbours.

Sabina’s cottage is a gem—perfectly situated right on the lakefront of beautiful Lake Scugog. The property is spacious and peaceful, surrounded by trees that add both privacy and charm. Inside, the cottage is cozy and well-equipped, with plenty to keep both adults and kids entertained, rain or shine. Outside there is plenty to do from jacuzzi, trampoline, ping pong, badminton, paddle boating and many kids playset and toys. One of the biggest perks is how close it is to Toronto—an easy drive that makes weekend getaways super convenient. The only minor downside is needing to bring your own bedding (pillows, sheets, blankets), but in the end, that actually made the stay feel more personal and comfortable—like bringing a bit of home to the cottage. Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun escape!

I stayed at this lovely cottage for two nights and had a wonderful experience. It was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful surroundings and thoughtful touches made it feel like a true getaway. The hosts were friendly and responsive, and I’d gladly return or recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

Our group of 8 had a fantastic stay at Kirill’s lovely home. Everything was as described, very spacious and comfortable for our bigger group. Unfortunately we were unable to use the pool due to the weather but it is quite sizeable. The hot tub was amazing. The open yard was massive, great for endless outdoor activities. We will definitely be back in the future for another visit!

Our family had the best Christmas stay at Nadia's cottage. The cottage is even more beautiful in person than the photos, tastefully decorated and providing all the necessary amenities for a larger group of people. We had enough space for preparing and serving our holiday dinner and a variety of activities to keep everyone entertained. Nadia and Dimitry were the most helpful, responsive, and accommodating hosts. Highly recommended!

Beautiful location and nice cottage. With six people and one bathroom, we had to sort that out. The stairs would be a concern for those with really young kids or the elderly. The home had everything we needed. Really nice wraparound deck. Nice to sit out there, relax and enjoy nature.

Had a relaxing stay with just my boyfriend and I for my birthday. Place was very cute with the little knickknacks all over. Tons of dishes to use of different varieties which I really appreciated. Loved the lounge swing outside, really added to the peaceful atmosphere. We really enjoyed the place, was a great size inside and outside with plenty of games and lots of useful accommodations. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hosts, very friendly, very responsive, extremely quiet location being on a dead end road. great view of the lake from the living room and deck. My son was catching bass right off the dock.

Our group enjoyed our stay at Min's cottage. It was as described in the listing, comfortable and with everything we needed for our stay. Min was quick to respond to our questions and was flexible regarding our check-in. We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Sarah's beautiful, clean and well equipped house. Sarah was very responsive and helpful, and filled the kitchen with everything we needed, including seasoning, cooking and baking items and more. Also, let's not forget the fresh farm eggs and the herbs garden. Beds are super comfortable as well as all other furniture. We enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful garden and the gazebo, also highly recommended for star gazing at night! Thanks Sarah!

Our stay at Bala’s place was a fantastic experience. We were a group of 8 including 4 tween aged children. The cottage is very well located , close to Port Perry and around 45 min to Peterborough. Lots of places to visit within the Trent Severn Waterway area. Bala graciously allow us an early check-in. His place is very cute, neat, super clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals and to entertain both children and adults alike. The game room is a great addition to the cottage. Walking distance to Lake Scugog, we were able to have nice walks after a delicious BBQ dinner. The deck and the fire pit allowed us to share quality family time while enjoying nature at its best. Thank you Bala for such a warm welcome with popcorn and soda !!. We appreciated very much your always friendly and promptly response to our needs. I will definitely recommend anyone to have a great and relaxing experience at your cottage. It is worth it !

This is our second time staying here so please read my review from last year as it has more detail. This place provides a perfect old fashioned cottage experience and reminds me of childhood holidays. We love how easy it is to get here and how peaceful it is when we arrive. The lake is lovely to swim in and the west facing views gave us amazing sunsets. As noted in my first review, the cottage is exactly as described in the listing.

Natalie’s cabin is the perfect escape from the city. The best part about it is you aren’t driving hours to get there it’s convenient but also just so relaxing and gorgeous! The nature there was exquisite and the land itself is surreal. The place is so clean, spacious, quiet! Natalie has a gorgeous little pond with a dock just perfect to enjoy some wine or your morning coffee. The firepit was so much fun at night with some s’mores. The bbq was well kept! The land is just picturesque. My (then) boyfriend proposed to me on Natalie’s dock and it was just truly magical. I would recommend this property to anyone I could! 5/5 will go back again!

Very charming and rustic cottage with a beautiful backdrop. We stared at the lake for endless hours through the window in the sun room, and enjoyed sunsets sitting on the dock. If you have young kids, this place is a dream come true. Between the adorable kids room filled with toys, puzzles and books, the pirate ship play structure in the yard, and the countless water activities, your little ones will have no shortage of things to do. There's also lots to do in the area. We enjoyed eating and shopping in downtown Port Perry, strawberry picking at a local farm, and the numerous parks and beaches in close proximity. I would definitely recommend and we look forward to returning!

Kelly is a great host and it was a pleasure to meet her during our stay. She arranged for an earlier check in and a late check out due to our stay being for medical reason. She is very proactive and a great communicator and her attention to details didn’t go unnoticed. There was a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a welcoming card waiting for us upon our arrival. Our home away from home was as pictured. It was nicely furnished, great decor and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom/shower very modern. The TV included several streaming apps which was definitely a plus. The location is in a quiet residential area and within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores. Would definitely recommend this place and we hope to come back again.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay thanks to Poulomi! The place was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described in the listing. Poulomi was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect—quick replies, helpful local tips, and a warm welcome that made me feel right at home. Our stay was fantastic. The White House on the Hill lived up to its billing. The view was spectacular and yes at the top of the hill. Liliana was a great host. Very responsive when we needed her. We had our families their for Christmas and the Holiday, Liliana decorated the house for us. A Christmas tree, decorations and many wonderful things that made us feel like it was our own house for Christmas. We enjoyed the modern kitchen and counter space. The dinning area was spacious and perfect for serving. The family/ Great Room was very cozy. A comfortable leather L couch for us to curl up and enjoy movies. The wood burning stove added so much to the room. The warmth, ambience and smell of the fire was like an old cottage. All wood was provided. Liliana was very gracious letting us have a later check out on January 1. We stayed from December 26th to January 1 and had a fantastic experience. We would recommend the White House on the Hill 5 STARS. We will be there again Rose, Gord & Family

The house is delightful and it was a pleasure staying there for two weeks in spring. It is stylish and comfortable. We especially loved the outdoor sitting area just outside the French doors in the living room. Kim’s music collection and great stereo sound system were a plus. The kitchen had everything one could think of and we cooked meals. The principal bedroom is pretty, roomy and quiet. The neighbourhood is leafy and quiet and we liked the fact it is an easy walk to the Bloor subway, Bloor West Village shops and to High Park. Kim was very friendly, responsive and a great host. It felt like a perfect home and we were sorry to leave.

Tharsini is a wonderful host. This cottage is adorable and very private. My expectations were perfectly met, and it was an amazing place to hold a get together. Thank you so much Tharsini for your communication and being a lovely host!

Thanks for having us, it was the perfect spot to stay for our baseball tournament!
