Barn accommodation in Picardy

We had a lovely stay here while exploring Canadian WWI sites in the area. There was more than enough room for our group of 6! The accommodations were comfortable and the home and yard are beautiful and peaceful. Yannick was kind and very helpful throughout our stay.

We had a lovely stay for the weekend. Jocelyne was a great host, even though there was a language barrier, there was lots of hand gestures and Jocelyne’s translation on her phone. Very relaxing and beautiful surroundings. We all fell in love with her 3 dogs. Lovely little pizza restaurant not far away and Intermarché 5 minute drive. The sauna was amazing, which is an extra €30 ph. Will definitely return again. Thank you for having us 😍

Everything was perfect, Bernard and Chantal's place is very cute and the garden is very well kept.

Caroline is a friendly host. She speaks perfect English. -- The apartment is quiet and has a large garden that you can use. Many birds sing there. -- From there, you can quickly reach the coast, the Seine or the Forêt de Brotonne. -- The "Parc Naturel des Etangs de Pont Audemer", the "Forêt de Brotonne" and the "Réserve Naturelle de l'Estuaire de la Seine" are of interest to birdwatchers.

Very nice quiet house with some possibilities to do something. Very good hospitality and the house was just as expected impeccable. I highly recommend it

Beautiful and clean accommodation with lovely garden and beautiful views. In the house can easily stay 9 people. The rooms are as described. The two bedrooms on the lower floor have a bathroom with toilet, downstairs is also a separate toilet. Upstairs is also a toilet and bathroom. The house is very complete, everything you need is present. Also the kitchen is very complete (we cooked most evenings in the house.) Outside is a spacious garden with beautiful views and enough furniture to sit or eat (and space to play for children). The donkeys and the horse sometimes come and take a look, which our daughters really like. In the village there is a baker with delicious bread, croissant and pastries. In the area are beautiful forests to walk in and beautiful towns to visit. In the auberge in the village, you can eat delicious food. Francois made us feel at home straight away, his English was good although we like to communicate in French. He showed us his lovely home which was more like a lived in home than a Airbnb. Which made it much more homely. There were some lovely touches like goodies on the table for us. There was plenty of outdoor space although the weather was rather chilly. Francois provided good bikes which were in the barn next door along with a ping pong table and barbecue. There was a local village 2.5 K away with a fabulous Boulangerie, and the town of Verneuil sur Avre nearby which was stunning!

Space, ease and peace The property was more spacious than the pictures had led us to believe, so the surprise was very pleasant. The design is modern and airy. The exceptional communication skiĺls and sincere thoughtfulness of the owner added a lot of ease to our stay and made us feel even more comfortable and welcomed. Finally, the property is located in a very quiet area of the town with a nearby lake. This gave us a feel of relaxation and of a slowed down pace of life. Our family has enjoyed a very lovely time and the kids who had plenty of space to run inside and outside will probably have wonderful memories of this place. Even nicer than shown in the photos! Very spacious, comfortable house with lots of privacy. On both the ground floor and on a high a nice quiet bedroom with a spacious private bathroom. We stayed there with a couple of friends and had plenty of privacy because everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom on their own floor. The shared stays are conveniently arranged. A wonderfully large dining kitchen with wood stove where everything from wine glasses to pans is present. Upstairs a spacious living room with French doors to a roof terrace with beautiful views. Nice, discreet hosts who had a nice attention on the kitchen table upon arrival. The region is simple and authentic, not tourists. Tourist attractions like Amiens or the booth are half an hour away. Recommended!

We had a great time at Véronique's house. It fits the description perfectly: clean, well-equipped and very pleasant to live in. The location is quiet, peaceful and ideal for relaxing, while being close to Compiègne, Senlis, Pierrefonds (by car). Hosts were available, responsive, and welcoming. We highly recommend this rental and thank the owners again for their hospitality.

we had a wonderful time here. the house is lovely and the garden/surroundings perfect for a nice rest after a day driving. the bedroom was very cozy and it was great that there was a baby bed available. Morgane is a great host and did everything to make us feel at home.

Xavier and Josiane's family building is super charming, but also very well equipped: Large swimming pool, barbecue, large garden, internet, several large game rooms equipped with televisions, renovated bathrooms, and new and comfortable furniture, we didn't miss anything! Xavier is very welcoming and accommodating, we had a great weekend and would be happy to repeat the experience! The place easily accommodated a dozen adults, offering a comfortable bed to each, as well as many bathrooms. The hypermarket is 10 minutes away by car, which allowed us to easily stock up.

As a family of five we really enjoyed Gaelle's beautiful home. It was very clean, modern and comfy place to stay after a long drive. The beds were very comfortable and the duvets soft and warm. The area was quiet but close to the to toll road for our remaining journey South. A really lovely experience and my young children wanted to stay longer! Gaelle was easily contactable and super friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Very spacious home in a peaceful location, with ducks in the adjacent pond and friendly chickens in the garden (but no cockerel to wake you up early in the morning). It has everything you need for a stay of a week or so and is not far from many local attractions. Adeline and Mathieu were very friendly and responsive to any issues. Highly recommended.

Really great place to stay in nature. If you want to be awakened by the pheasants and love visiting the chickens, this is the place. We felt very comfortable. Everything is furnished with love, everything you need for a vacation. Louise responded immediately to inquiries and she and her husband made everything possible to help us as quickly as possible. The very clairaudient and secluded did not deter us! Thanks for a great stay!

E are very friendly and warmly welcomed. Everything was present in the house to make it pleasant. It is ideal for people seeking peace and quiet.

We felt right at home in the apartment. Sparkling clean, with a spacious bathroom, a nice sofa, spacious dining table and plenty of cooking utensils and crockery to stay comfortably. The communication in advance was more than friendly and very attentive, we felt really welcome. The area of southern Wallonia was the real surprise for us: beautiful nature nearby, and lots of adventurous and quiet hiking trails for choosing. Very nice house, clean, quiet, spacious. The terrace is lovely. We had a pleasant stay. Recommended! Be careful though, the cleaning is to be done at the end of the stay.
