From the moment we arrived, everything just felt easy and warm. The place was clean, spacious, and had such a calming vibe—it instantly felt like a home away from home. The location was easy to find, which we really appreciated after the drive. The caretakers were kind and helpful, always ready to assist without being intrusive. And the hosts—they’re truly wonderful. So responsive, thoughtful, and generous with clear instructions and extra touches that made us feel cared for throughout our stay. We’re truly grateful for the experience and would come back in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay at the accomodation! It was like a private resort. The staff were super friendly. As the complex is remote and in the nature, it is expected that there are animals/insects but in the apartment was equipped with a mosquito net which we could put on the bed, which we highly appreciated!

I booked this place for our company trip. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed using the amenities. Looking forward to bringing my family here next! :)

A great place to relax.

We spent 1 wonderful, relaxing week at the Soulcamp. The beauty of the place is stunning, Eli and Pascale have created a little paradise and are just great hosts. The food is delicious with the freshest ingredients from the sea and the garden. We relished every single meal and gave each one a personal Michelin star. We had great help with organising transport, boat trips and getting recommendations for activities nearby. Truly a place for the soul!

I recently stayed at Balay By The Sea for my birthday retreat, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Nestled near Vigan, this picturesque hidden villa is a peaceful haven—perfect for anyone looking to escape the noise and reconnect with nature and themselves. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality. The villa is beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern comfort, and the view of the sea is absolutely breathtaking. Every corner of the property feels thoughtfully curated, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying coffee with a view was the perfect way to start each day. The staff went above and beyond to make my birthday special, and I couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and meaningful celebration. If you’re looking for a quiet, soul-refreshing getaway near Vigan, I highly recommend Balay By The Sea. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience that stays with you.

We were a group of 12 on a Holy Week break - 3 families with teens and young kids- and rented Balai LaHi as well as the Sunrise Room. This place overdelivers in spades!! When we weren’t enjoying the beach out front, we lazily lounged around the house. There were many different areas to chitchat, reconnect, play board games; and equally many quiet corners to read a book, crochet and take naps. The hosts, Cholo and Tor, were amazing - they helped us arrange services for a cook and kitchen helper; provided us with great directions and restaurants to try, shared Lenten schedules and personal tips to enjoy the festivities. But beyond helping with logistics, they were always warm and welcoming and made us feel like long-time friends instead of transient guests. All in all, it was a wonderful stay - we came for the Moriones of Marinduque, but we will return for Balai LaHi. It was the easily the highlight of our trip!

The best location for us at the island. You will be well rested because of the peacefulness of the place. No interruptions like noise or crowd and it was very spacious. You will definitely feel like you have your own vacation house. Best access to the beach as well! Thank you so much!

A fantastic place if you like nature and serenity. We booked this room for our staff as a team catch up (we had another unit here) and we all agreed it was an excellent spot. If you're coming all the way to OcamOcam, this is literally the best place. Amazing views, sunsets, pool, and the staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and all are very approachable and friendly Highly recommended for nature lovers. Food options are a little limited, but you can always fill your belly- between the cook, ordering from the 2 local restaurants (who deliver) and extensive kitchen, food is available. Excellent host Maridel and property manager Mylene, good Starlink internet, and a huge pool, right in front of the ocean for snorkeling, swimming and boat trips, you really can't get better.

Beautiful cozy house in front of the marine sanctuary. Location is perfect to approach the beach, and also easy to move to other part in the island. If I come to Siquijor again, I would definitely come back to this place :)

I wanna start by saying it is my first time booking a place that looks exactly the same as the photos being advertised/listed. It is worth every penny! I love how homey and modern it is. The rooms and bathrooms are well maintained! Loved the kitchen too! Oh my and the staff were so helpful and kind. I would love to go back again. My husband and I enjoyed a 2 nights stay and wishing we could extend more. This will be on my fav lists for sure. Thanks to Diego as well for being responsive and for giving us all the info needed. 10/10 would recommend!

Highly recommended! What an amazing find! It was our first flight home in such a long time and found this gem. Had a private and relaxing time with family. We had ordered our food there for dinner and it was delicious. Pet friendly as I have my precious baby with me. We booked the canyoneering with them and we got picked up and dropped off, the canyoneering was amazing with the tour guides being wonderful and the lunch was awesome. The owner was hands on and friendly. All in all it was a wonderful experience in this place and we will definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.

This is our second time at the Treehouse, and just like before, we enjoyed our stay. And although I was not able to swim because of my head injury , the others enjoyed the sea .We love the comfort and calming effect of the nature.🥰❤️

The place is really nice, with the beach view, very clean, aesthetic and cozy. Upon check-in, we’re welcomed by Jing who’s very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Our whole stay is stress-free. They have everything one needs like home. One thing I hope they have is water dispenser, aside from that, I can’t ask for anything more. Two thumbs-up for Costa Sambali.

Place is perfect for barkadas and families. Beautiful view of the sea right in front of the home. Close to Kabutongan Falls which we went to visit right after we checked out. Host is also very responsive and allowed us to stay for an extra few hours. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay! The place is clean, with fresh sheets and multiple bathrooms with heaters—super convenient. It's right on the beach, with lots of tables and chairs outside, perfect for chilling and group meals. The beach is better for surfing than swimming, as the water is quite shallow. Signal is weak, and there was no Wi-Fi at first, but it became available later. The host gave a heads-up about insects and animals—there were a lot—but the staff provided us with OFF lotion, which helped a lot. Despite that, we were comfortable and had a fun, relaxing time. My family loved it, and we’ll definitely look forward to staying again next time we're back in the province! <3

Great communication from the host. Answered all our queries in a timely manner. It made it so much easier to plan our trip. Great communication with their caretaker as well. We had no issues with early check in and any and all needs while we were there. Kawayan itself, and the property it sits on, is a piece of heaven. If I were any fitter, I’d have no complaints, but since I’m not in shape, the short descent to the beach is a test. 😂 You have to earn the right to all that lovely seclusion. The fishermen dock here and they sometimes sell their catch. Nothing like fresh inihaw and tinolang isda by the ocean. Also, since it is summer, it happens to be jellyfish season. They usually come in the late afternoon. But the waters are so clear and so calm, you see them coming. Educational for my daughters, who have never really observed jellyfish. We will be returning. Bonus tip: Establish early communication with Maritess. She is an awesome cook and can help you source anything!

An absolutely brilliant place to stay! The location is quieter than the busy white beach and situated at the top of the hill where you have the best views of Boracay. The accommodation is clean, and well equipped with everything you need. We were extremely well looked after by the hosts. It is probably more suited to the younger generation due to the 250 steps up the hill but my 70 year old parents made it after a couple of stops. When checking in, wait at the beach entrance to the Microtel hotel and not the street entrance.

Booked this place for my mother’s 50th birthday celebration and I’m glad I did. The host, Kristine and her House Manager, Leonila were both pleasant & easy to work with. My family noted on how welcoming the vibe is and that they felt right at home. Also, they noticed on how well taken care of the house is. If anyone is looking for a place to stay in Pagudpud, look no further. This place is it.

Pamela was great to work with and her staff on the Island were amazing. the Chef is top notch and the food and beverage helper was responsive and tended to all of our needs. all of the staff was very accommodating and very friendly. The island itself is a piece of heaven... opening the door of our guest house would reviel a perfect beach setting with no noise except the sound of waves on the beach and birds in the trees. I have never been to a more magical and peaceful place than this one. I am a diver and love snorkling and free diving... if you head out to the edge of the shallows where the depth drops there are amazing coral blooms and sea life. Magical! you "do not" want to miss this experience!

This was an amazing place, relaxing and quiet. The locals are friendly, and even a few kids popped in on the last night for dinner because we always cook too much. I cannot say enough positive things about this getaway home. Kuya Larry is extremely helpful and always accommodating. One of the best and most comfortable trikes on the island!

The place was great and the beach was nice! Power generator was a bit wonky since it was new but they were quick to apologize and fix it. Nice staff too!
