Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Phelps County

We absolutely loved everything about this Airbnb and have already recommended it to family that pass through regularly! It is such a perfect location if visiting Merrimack spring park or the local winery/breweries. (Get pizza at the public house brewery, trust me!) Just a few minutes drive through beautiful countryside to town! We are so glad we opted for this last minute instead of a hotel in Rolla. Everything was truely spotless and had everything readily available for cooking a meal, enjoying takeout, relaxing outside, and playing with our kids in the yard. Can't wait to stay again when we are passing through St James! Thanks Katie!

I had a wonderful stay! The place was absolutely adorable – immaculately clean, cozy, and so comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfy, and the kitchen was well equipped, which made meal prep surprisingly fun! One of the biggest highlights was the fully fenced backyard – such a gift for my two four-legged family members to safely explore and enjoy. The host was amazing! So thoughtful, responsive, and kind. Truly a delightful stay. Highly recommend!

If a listing on Airbnb that I spend the night in is clean, in an apparently safe neighborhood, functional, comfortable, and a relatively good financial value... I leave it a five star review. This place was all of those things and therefore... I give it a five star review. It is a bit of an older house, but again I found it to be comfortable, functional and clean. It think it has a certain charm to it. In decor and appearance it does show it's age to some extent... but to many people of my generation I'm sure it would remind them of their grandparents house... and I mean that in a good way. Anyhow, I would be willing to rent the house again for a short stay if I needed a place to stay in the Rolla area. And hey, when it comes to reviewing a house for potential Airbnb guests... that really is the bottom line, isn't it?

I wish I knew about this place sooner. I have been coming to Rolla for my son's baseball games for the past 4 years, with my dog. This home was perfect for my self, my dog and my mom. I am a bit particular with cleanliness and always worry about Airbnb's. This home was spotless, well decorated and so welcoming. The hosts even included some extras to make us feel welcome. I have already told the baseball team about this home. While our time is done in Rolla soon, I think the host will find many families wanting to stay at his place. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully remodeled home! The house was exactly as described—modern, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches. The renovation was clearly done with care, and we loved the warm earth tones, open layout, and the charming industrial farmhouse vibe. Each bedroom was comfortable and private, and the custom fireplace and game options made it a perfect space to relax and unwind. Great location too—close to everything! Would definitely stay here again.

We spent the Thanksgiving holiday at Susan’s Airbnb. It was so peaceful, clean, beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed. Susan was great to work with.

This place was so cute! Stayed there with my boyfriend for the weekend while in town visiting family. It was really clean and the host was super friendly and helpful. Reached out a few times ensuring we had everything we needed. It was really quiet and we had a very relaxed day with no disturbances Sunday. 10/10 would recommend a stay here if you’re needing to be in stj or rolla

Perfect accommodations for a single traveler or couple. Host pays special attention to the details. This cozy place has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Loved the shower. Loved the rural, relaxing setting, which went perfectly with my morning coffee! Definitely would stay here again, and again.

We had a wonderful stay at Patty’s . We really appreciated the st. James concord juice and basket of goodies left. She even left a card wishing me a happy birthday. Thank you! We opened the bottle after fishing and watched the sunset. One of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. Then the stars came out and enjoyed a camp fire, wood was left for us too. When you stay be sure to hike around the area, they have private trails and offer hiking sticks. Trout fishing is just down the road. Everything was great! Met Patty’s husband and he is just as kind. Highly recommended!

The cabin was great! It was VERY clean, comfortable, and spacious. The space was modern, set up nicely, and the bed was very comfortable. Pictures accurately represented the accommodations It’s in a beautiful and quiet area of Rolla. Joe, the host, was very accommodating and friendly (Linda was out of town so we’ll meet her next time). The working farm added a fun element with some farm animals around. We will surely stay at the cabin again the next time we are in Rolla.

Aunt Phoebe's Cabin was everything my husband and I wanted it to be and more. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind from our busy lives. "Living" off-grid isn't for everyone, but we loved it and it allowed us time to unplug and focus on one another. Kathy and Heather were kind and helpful and quick to respond when we reached out with any questions. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future.

It was an incredible stay at the Ab Shack! The place was beautiful, both inside the cabin and it's surroundings. The cabin was so well stocked, and you can tell that there was a lot of thoughts and care that went into it. We wanted a peaceful getaway and that's exactly what we got! We absolutely loved and would definitely go back!

Janet was an excellent host! We were greeted by two, kind big dogs and Janet. She gave a little map to the cabin and clear instructions. She was very nice and left pawpaw bread on the counter for us! The cabin was quaint and secluded, very close to the creek where we walked and enjoyed some time. It was a wonderful, peaceful experience for my daughter and me. We will go back!
