Homely cottage in the national park

This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

There is a fenced garden with a large trampoline, a sandpit, a fire pit, and in the summer months it can be built by children and an adventurous tent. We, family with three children, spent four adorable, snowy Christmas days here. It was very contemplative and slowing down. Small quaint mountain hut decorated with lots of love, away from stress and hustle and bustle. We felt right at home. Everything you need is there. Our children especially liked the DVD collection and the record collection. Super friendly and always easily accessible host. We will be happy to come back and will remember these special Christmas days for a long time.

Wow, this place is really amazing. We were travelling the two of us together with our dogs by car from Sweden. First we had to decide which room to sleep in, which was not easy ;) Then we cooked dinner and had a nice cup of coffe. We took a short walk in the beatiful garden. A beautiful and calm place which we really can recommend 😊

We had a nice week in the eastern Erzgebirge. There are inviting hiking trails right on the doorstep. The kids liked the summer toboggan run in nearby Altenberg. The accommodation was very well maintained, the communication with the hosts was flawless.

Impeccably clean accommodation with everything you need for an extended weekend – and very cozy. The farm is in a quiet location, and there are all kinds of animals to pet. Radim is a very nice and accommodating host. We had problems with our car, and he helped us immediately. In addition, the accommodation is highly recommended for friends of climbing, as it is only a 15-minute drive from the bouldering area in Sněžník. We will definitely book the accommodation again for our next trip.

Christine is a very nice person and the communication was very good. The apartment is large, nicely furnished and very clean. Great bathroom. Large terrace with fantastic panoramic views of the countryside. The only thing that is a pity is that the kitchen is a little sparsely furnished. There are only two hotplates and microwave, oven and especially dishwasher are unfortunately missing. Overall, however, a great place to feel good and a perfect starting point for all activities in the region. I felt very comfortable and would come back anytime.
