Great location with spectacular reviews. Wifi in the house could be improved as signals are pretty weak. Enjoy our time here every year and look forward to being back in 2026.

Had a great stay! It felt super comfortable. We had the easiest check in, we’ve ever had on Airbnb which was a plus after a long drive. The rooms/beds were comfortable and spacious. The washer & dryer was great along with the hot tub. It was super easy to come and go with the check in. There is 1 place that’s mainly a bar with food & that’s about it for food nearby. i’d say that’s the only con but given the area of wv it’s understandable just buy groceries! had a great stay, would come again.

This place is great for a large group it has everything we you could possibly need and a few extras! Definitely worth the price! close to some outlaw trails and spearhead. Andrew quickly responded every time I would message super friendly! Definitely booking again next time we’re back !

Staying in Marion, where I was born, was such a special experience! We spent two nights here, and from the moment we arrived, Kim made sure everything was perfect—she even surprised us by getting the pool ready early. The house itself is beautiful and absolutely spotless, making it feel like a true home away from home. Our boys were thrilled to have their own rooms, but the real star of the weekend was the pool. As soon as they dipped their feet in, they were hooked! The warm weather made it even better, and they were so excited that they started swimming at 6:30 AM the first morning—talk about dedication! Beyond the incredible hospitality, the location is ideal—just steps away from food and coffee, making everything so convenient. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back again! Thank you so much!

The host was very responsive and flexible. We rented the house for a work project and it was very nice to have a place that felt more like home to come back to after a long day. Unfortunately our stay was before the pool had fully opened but the sound and views of the Jackson river was very peaceful while relaxing on the porch each evening. I would definetly stay here again for future projects in the area. I would recommend future guests to plan to bring or buy additional tolietries and cooking essentials (oil, sugar, coffee, etc) for extended stays.

We had a great time staying at Dwayne’s place! Beautiful views of the lake in the evenings and plenty of golf courses within a 30 minute radius. Will definitely be back!

Our stay was very enjoyable. Unfortunately the weather was a bit chilly for the pool but the hot tub was great and so was the fire pit. Everything we needed was provided from the kitchen amenities to games to wood for the fire pit. Everything was clean and well stocked. We had a wonderful time and appreciate the attention to detail!! Special VT graduation weekend made even more special with our stay at Walnut Hill Lodge. The house was immaculate and well equipped for a family retreat. The mountain views out the windows and from all the surrounding decks were spectacular. We watched the farm dogs herd sheep from one pasture to another, and appreciated the beauty of the surrounding working farm. Michelle was a great host with wonderful recommendations for the local market and waterfall hike. Thanks for a memorable stay at your property.

Creekside Lodge was beautiful! Didn’t break the bank and absolutely worth every penny. The cabin was spotless. Huge kitchen with coffee supplies, plenty of room for 6 people to relax and enjoy the space. Spotify and netflix were great. Opening the sliding door to the creek was like something out of a dream! So quiet and peaceful!! We had an issue with the downstairs heat but Carlin and the property caretaker were so quick to communicate and get it fixed!! Definitely planning to return! Thanks for a great stay!

This was the perfect house for our family. It was right off the highway so it was perfect for a short rest stop on a road trip. It was clean and really nicely done inside. The shots were very friendly and responsive. I would highly recommend.

This place is a gem. We’ve stayed here a couple times now and it’s a fantastic place to stay if you have young kids. Our son always enjoys playing with the toys they have on site and running in the big yard. Easy drive to stores and great restaurants.

If you’re looking for a true escape from the city, Susan and Dave’s place is the perfect choice! The cabin is chic, spotless, and spacious , and the surroundings feel straight out of a fairytale. Susan and Dave are warm, welcoming, and excellent communicators. We’d love to come back and highly recommend this magical getaway!

We stayed overnight traveling through but I wish I could have stayed a week or longer. It was so beautiful and peaceful. I hope to return someday for sure. CJ and Mitch think of everything and are AMAZING hosts.

What a beautiful spot. Loved sitting on the back porch and listening to the bull frog sing. If you are looking for a peaceful private spot , this is it. Cheryl thought of every little thing for convenience and comfort. Loved the separate thermostat for the bedroom and the bed was soooo cozy. Definitely check out Sandstone Falls and the local parks. I would go back in a minute.

After a hectic day of packing and traveling, the little home provided for us was exactly what we needed--it was cozy, clean, and quiet. The decor was very cute and warm, and the place was immaculately cleaned/prepared. Samantha was a very communicative and personable host, and we have nothing but praise for our stay!

Great place, my family loved it. The host was very responsive and easy to talk to. The Airbnb was clean, pretty, and had a lot of room. The view was also amazing! The only thing is that you need to make sure to continue along a gravel road to get to the house which was a little confusing at first, but overall great stay and would highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing stay! Will definitely stay again. The beds were so comfortable and the shower was amazing! We enjoyed the back patio as well as the front porch. The stove was great and high tech. Everything was top notch!

Such a serene beautiful setting. The geese, the 2nd floor view of the lake and trees and the separate spaces for my daughter and I made it a peaceful way to awaken into the spring day. Thank you for such a special experience!

We had a great stay at the lake house. There was a private dock located very close and a swim area just a couple minutes down the road. The house had beautiful views and was well stocked with everything we needed for the week!

If I had to describe this Airbnb, I’d call it one of the more thoughtful I’ve ever stayed in - both in being well-considered, and being genuinely comforting. From cookies for myself and my party, and Andes mints on the beds, to USB flashlight bars by the couch and fire-starting supplies, the little touches added up. The kitchen was stocked with what many places overlook: oil, Pam, sharp knives, and even Tupperware. There were more than enough towels and pillows, there were bedside tables with outlets on top, and full-length mirrors. The stairs down to the fire pit were lit, which made evenings by the water feel easy and welcoming. The three season room was wonderful, as well, for those of us who attract some bugs, but enjoy the sound of the nearby rapids, and wind. The home was spotless, peaceful, and perfectly located for a visit to the nearby National Park (New River Gorge). The host was also very responsive - when we had a question about the dishwasher, they replied within minutes!
