House holiday rentals in Peterstown

It is a beautiful place located at the very top of the mountain. Gorgeous inside and out; I would definitely stay again. When I say beautiful, I mean a BEAUTIFUL place. Simple suggestions: I highly suggest you check in during daylight. Being from Ohio, getting up the hill after dark can be challenging, as there are no lights on the way up. Also, the road is incredibly narrow. Once you go up the hill during the daylight, you’ll have no problem navigating. The Internet is pretty good, although I had to study for an exam I didn’t plan on. It was a bit challenging, but I got through it (Internet, slightly slow). Bath robes in the master bathroom, I tend to bring my own with me and I’m glad I did because the bathrooms had some hair from another person so I do suggest for your own. Whirlpool tub in the lower level. although it was clean, I have learned previously to fill the tub and run the jets to make sure it’s completely clean and unfortunately, there were black sediments.

We had a great time during our stay. The beds were comfy, the cabin was clean and very nice, and the hot tub was a fantastic addition! Definitely was able to rest and relax and everyone slept so well! I will for sure seek this place out for our next stay in the area.

Fantastic place to stay for a long girls' weekend! House is gorgeous and worth every penny!!! We were there in January, and it was still amazing. Can't imagine what it's like when it's warmer!

A beautiful new town home that’s roomy, clean, nicely furnished and well equipped. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. It’s located very close to campus and everything you might need or want to do. Our host, Amanda, was wonderful and very responsive. She made everything so easy. We have already booked our next stay and we’re looking forward to returning.

Great location and the pool and fire pit were the perfect amenities to end a day of riding! The host was very responsive and made planning our trip, getting trail passes, check in, and check out seamless. We couldn’t find any extra supplies at the house (ie paper towels, trash bags, etc.) so recommend bringing some of the day to day basics with you. Would definitely recommend to others!

The host was very responsive and flexible. We rented the house for a work project and it was very nice to have a place that felt more like home to come back to after a long day. Unfortunately our stay was before the pool had fully opened but the sound and views of the Jackson river was very peaceful while relaxing on the porch each evening. I would definetly stay here again for future projects in the area. I would recommend future guests to plan to bring or buy additional tolietries and cooking essentials (oil, sugar, coffee, etc) for extended stays.

Absolutely stunning place, the Mountain View was breathtaking! Wanted a peaceful environment with a homey feel and this Airbnb was perfect for it. Would definitely like to come back!

We had a great time staying at Dwayne’s place! Beautiful views of the lake in the evenings and plenty of golf courses within a 30 minute radius. Will definitely be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We hosted a my hokie son and a few of his hokie friends for Easter dinner and this home was perfect for what we needed. The home was spacious, clean and the location to the campus was fantastic. Highly recommended.

We had a great time bringing our dogs to April's place on our trip to Lewisburg. She was very helpful and responsive leading up to and during our stay. I would absolutely recommend her place to future friends/guests!

My husband and I had a quick one night stay here with our two kids. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the house looked like the pictures. Our pack and play fit well in one of the rooms with us. Being an older house, I expected it to be a bit creaky. I was happy with how little noise the floors made, but the doors were a little noisy to open and shut. The kitchen was clean and there were some basics like water bottles and snack bars. The host didn’t skimp on things like cheap pillows or sheets, they felt comfortable and new. We would definitely stay here again if passing through!

Thank you, Richard, for a WONDERFUL stay at your cottage. We came to Blacksburg so that our dog could have her surgery at Tech and Richard's cottage location couldn't have been more perfect. We laughed to each other when we discovered everything we needed was 7 minutes away or less. The bed was so comfortable and the entire house was spotless. Since we needed to stay for a few days this really felt like a great landing spot for us, a home away from home. We had to make many trips to the small animal hospital and were grateful that it was such an easy back-and-forth from the house. Richard was extremely communicative, kind, and responsive. Check-in/check-out was easy. Nice that parking was right next to the house. Next time we come back we'd love to use the fire pit (just too busy this time around). This will be our spot when we come back to Blacksburg -- if it's not already booked. Thank you so much, Richard!

Very cute and cozy room with everything we needed! Very clean and new feeling. Super comfy bed, plenty of clean towels. Nice peaceful spot on the river, ate breakfast outside at the table and listened to the birds. Thank you!

The house was very comfortable for our family and dog. It has been hard to find a house in the area that we found worth the money but we loved this one and would definitely stay here again if we are back to Roanoke.

Another great stay at The Nest. We have been back to this location several times in the last several years. It is extremely close to our family that we can visit them every time we go down! We also are close to the town of Gap Mills and Union in which we visit each time. I can not express enough how amazing The Nest is and how friendly Thomas is when we plan our trips! 10/10 would recommend and 1000% will be staying here again and for the foreseeable future for our trips down!

Charming house that truly felt like staying at Grandmom’s in the country. Large enough for a bigger family, 2 small families or a small group of friends. Lots of room to spread out. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of what would be needed for cooking meals. The surrounding area was beautiful. Perfect peaceful scenery for sitting on that front porch swing listening to the birds and watching calves chasing one another on the hillside. Freshly baked brownies were a thoughtful treat waiting for us when we arrived. Would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home! It was perfect for our large family. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen was very inviting. We felt cozy and at home.

The place was convenient to the event I was attending in the area and the house was clean, comfortable and quiet. Plenty of kitchen items to make our meals in the evenings which was a plus for us. Would stay again if in the area. Ryan was very quick and responsive to any and all questions we had.

Anar is a great host. Very friendly and responsive. The house was just what we needed for 1 night. It was very clean and had that homey feeling. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Location is a hidden gem. Whenever we visit the area again, this will for sure be our place to stay!

We had a great experience staying at Susan’s house. The house was very clean and well-maintained. Susan was very helpful and courteous allowing us 2 hours grace rime for checkout. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and convenient. Overall, we'd recommend and return in my next trip to Virginia.

My family and I had a very pleasant stay. The host was wonderful and responsive. The house is very clean and had great internet. We appreciated all the attention to details including stocked kitchen, hand soap in bathrooms, protective covers on mattress, outdoor furniture with cushions, and a stocked coffee area. We would stay again.

The home and property was beautiful. Good location as far as the grocery store and gas stations. Bed was comfy and the house was nicely decorated. Area was very nice and quiet. The backyard was beautiful, we wished the weather had been better so we could have enjoyed it more!! Enjoyed so much our in laws booked to stay there in two weeks!! Thanks again!!
