The October House

Welcome to The October House —built during the Civil War. Step back in time to experience a different era. However, just like the 1860’s there are a lot of stairs. If you crave a unique historical experience in the exact middle point of historic Brownville, NE then this is for you. Conveniently located directly across the street from The Brownville Market! However, fair warning, this house is not an accessible place for those who can’t handle stairs or do not like the rustic life!

Ellington Place

A rustic farmhouse retreat on a crop producing farm, which means we could be planting or harvesting during your stay. Ellington Place has a furnished kitchen, updated bathroom and washer and dryer. Along with excellent outdoor entertainment, complete with a fire pit, porch for sitting and open area for short walks. The property is located 25 minutes from the Omaha metro area as well as less than 10 minutes from the Wabash Trace, a bike trail that travels through Mills County.

The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to enjoy. The master features a king sized bed with lots of pillows to choose from. A dedicated office space surrounded by windows to brighten up your day in the office. The second bedroom offers a comfy queen size bed.

Rock Port, Missouri - Home with a View

The space is an 800-square-foot basement that has been converted into a two-bedroom apartment with one full bathroom, a kitchen, a living room that is furnished. The living area has its own entrance separate from the upstairs of the home, with off-street parking. There is usually very little activity upstairs, so noise from above won't be an issue. We also rent to outages at Cooper Nuclear Station and for long-term wind farm workers.

A railroad depot renovated into a bunkhouse located midway on the Wabash Trace Nature Trail. It includes 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, and bathroom with shower. A/C & heat, coffee maker, dorm fridge, microwave, and toaster oven. Linens and towels provided. One queen bed, the other twin bunk beds. The Futon in the living area folds out. Conveniently located 2 blocks from downtown. No pets please.
