A fairytale house in a gorgeous location, maintaining the traditional features of a classic French farmhouse.

The house - beautiful, an old building, high rooms, wonderfully cool even at over 30 degrees, if you close windows and doors during the day and darken. A wide cuddle sofa and a good TV for the evening. Despite the city, it is very quiet; now in June in the evening when the windows are opened, the calls of the swallows and other birds and sweet scent (linden?)A nice little garden. Everything very tastefully and stylishly furnished, very good beds - we would have liked to take the mattresses with us ;))). Everything very clean. We recommend the second bakery on Rue Claude Bernard - also good patisserie, and the restaurant Sous les Tilleuils-, rue judaique - very good value for money, a young creative cook, charming, relaxed service. Excursion: definitely Brantome, pretty town, surrounded by the river, with boat trip (definitely recommended, nice staff, information sheets in English, German and Spanish), and from there Bimbillou Museum, bar and food truck-shady island in the middle of the river.

Cosy accommodation in the heart of Périgord Noir in a peaceful environment. Beautiful area and magnificent terrace. Lydia and Julien are very friendly and despite a long holiday weekend, they insisted on coming to see if everything was ok for us. Welcome with a bottle of wine. Linen and sheets that smell wonderfully good. On the other hand, the Wi-Fi is a little slow for teleworking. I recommend it.

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

Beautiful home in a beautiful part of the country. Very peaceful location yet less than 5 minutes drive from Brantome centre. Host was very helpful and responsive and had a whole list of recommendations for local restaurants, places to go, etc etc. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We had a very good stay at Pré des Noix. Upon our arrival, Alexandrine gave us all the instructions and made herself perfectly available during the stay. The small well-equipped house is lovely and peaceful, it is a real place of rest 2 steps from the Vézère valley and its must-see tourist spots. Everything was perfect and we will gladly come back if the opportunity arises

A very nice apartment, well decorated and well located (right in the centre). There may be noise because there are plenty of cafes around but it did not bother us.

Excellent apartment, perfect for a car-free weekend, very quiet and very sunny. Perfectly located for visiting the city, going out at night, having a drink and resting.

Our stay in Eric’s house was perfect. Stepping out into the heart of the old town was a wonderful experience every time. The location could not be more central to restaurants shops and bars. We will certainly stay again.

We had a relaxing three night stay with our baby. Mathieu gave us a warm welcome with lots of tips on the local area and offered us several things like a cot and high chair to help with the baby. The duplex is comfortable, quiet, clean, spacious, and use of the beautiful pool, garden table and loungers is amazing. We were able to walk all around the town from our location and could arrive by foot from the train station. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Perigueux!

We really enjoyed Chris' studio: nice decor, spacious, comfortable, modern, good bed, very peaceful despite its proximity to the city center. Extremely competitive small price with quality services. We also enjoyed the layout of the bed separated from the living room thanks to a semi-partition like a canopy which gives it a side that is both private and trendy. The exterior is also charming, comfortable and private. We recommend this rental without hesitation.

We spent a night in Véronique's apartment to make a stop on the way to our holiday. The apartment is as described, clean and well-equipped with good bedding. The place is quiet and easy to find, on our arrival we were very well received by Véronique and we were able to chat together.

Stephanie was a fantastic host who was a pleasure to meet and taking the time to tell us about all the local places to visit and her apartment was ideally located for walking into Sarlat town centre in just a couple of minutes and it was a very enjoyable 3 day stay, thanks David and Teresa

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

Sandrine and Pascal were very responsive to questions before booking. Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.

Sarlat was special to us! With Christmas approaching, it was complete. The city is small but charming! The Christmas market, very cheerful and welcoming, made a place in our hearts! It was a great place to choose and visit numerous sites in the region. The apartment is exactly as described. The cost-benefit was valuable to us. If I had known Sarlat before, as well as the apartment, I would spend Christmas there! It would have been magical! Thanks host! I'll be back if the world doesn't end first!

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.
