The Mecklenburg Lake District lies between Berlin and the Baltic Sea. In just under 2 hours, you can get from the capital to our small village, located 7 km off the B 96. From the separate 1200 square metre plot in a village location, you have a clear view of the countryside and the starry sky, as well as a wide choice of possible excursion destinations in a landscape and bird paradise or the lake for swimming. Enjoy the tranquility and security of these ancient walls. Surrounded by ancient trees in the Mecklenburg Lake District. Your apartment is on the 2nd floor and was carefully renovated. We rebuilt the old clay frameworks, uncovered the ancient floorboards and only the finest clay paint was used on the walls. The hideaway is rounded off by a small cast iron fireplace for the evenings and a private sauna on the edge of the field... We love children 🧡🌟 4 cats and 1 dog live on the farm ;-)

On an original farm, we have lovingly created a vacation home to dream of. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place to be! A large garden invites you to linger. In the evening you can sit comfortably by the fire or read a book on the comfortable couch with a glass of wine. From Groß Markow you can explore the surroundings by bike or by car. The place lies between Lake Kummerow and Lake Teterow. The Baltic Sea can be reached in just an hour.

Enjoy living in our apartment, in the small town of Penzlin, centrally located between the cities of Waren 28 km, Neubrandenburg 12 km and Neustrelitz 18 km in the district of Mecklenburgische Seenplatte. 1.5 km to the nearest swimming lake. 7 km to Müritz National Park. Also worth seeing is the old Penzlin Castle with its witch museum. A well-developed network of bike paths also invites you to go for bike rides. A friendly family dog is very happy about guests.

A stay in a stork village 1 (with AC)

We rent out 2 appartments. You are looking at the larger unit. (The smaller unit you find here: https://www.airbnb.de/rooms/21896074) The stable from 1891 was renovated into a 3-unit-home in 2016. The surrounding gardens are a work in progress. The property is quite large and you can always find a quiet and peaceful spot in the sun. The night sky is wonderful for star gazing. Up to 10 stork families nest in the village from April to August each year.

Our individual cabins are within walking distance of Lake Tollensee and offer a magnificent view over the Nonnenhof Nature Reserve.
