We had an amazing stay at the cottage. The house was just perfect, the hot tub was divine and the only neighbours we saw were the 2 lovely horses, Saffy and Angel.

Beautiful place and surroundings, really lovely and peaceful. Loved the accommodation, beds very comfortable and the hot tub was worth the extra money. Will 100% be coming back!

We’ve just returned from the most delightful short break in a beautiful college cottage tucked away in the heart of Wales. The cottage itself was a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort — tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and full of character. Surrounded by rolling hills and the peaceful sounds of nature, it felt like a true escape from the everyday. This little haven gave us the peace and quiet we craved, along with the warmth and welcome of a truly special place. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of our return xx

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Good Life. The space was well maintained and felt like a home. We made the most of the hot tub and kitchen facilities during our stay. The location is beautiful and peaceful. Would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet trip away with a partner or close friend.

Claire's place was perfect for our needs as a base for a walk in the Brecons. It had a well equipped kitchen, and even Sky TV. Claire was a great host, responsive, easy to contact, had some local recommendations and even gave us a lift to the pub.

Amazing stay at the Yarlington Dairy. The cottage was stunning and had everything you needed. The views were magnificent and the cider was also lush! Laura was a wonderful host, super friendly and very responsive. Thank you for a great stay celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary! 🤩 x

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. Well presented with well thought out amenities left for us. Plenty of space for the three of us and the hot tub was a delightful treat after we had explored for 11k. Dinner at butterflies was stunning, for three people who talk a lot, we were eating in silence because we were so happy 🥰 Will happily recommend to friends and family visiting the area. This is a lovely cottage in the heart of the Waterfalls of Pontfeddfechan. Having parking is a great bonus and the cottage is well equipped and homely. The welcome basket is one of the best we’ve had and very much appreciated. Dogs are welcome with dog bowls provided and blankets to protect the furniture. The kitchen has everything you could need including an airfryer and fridge freezer. Plenty of crockery and space for preparing food. Even thermos flasks provided if you wanted to use them. We could go on and on, but needless to say, the description of the cottage and location is absolutely spot on and you won’t be disappointed if you stay here. The neighbours were very friendly and always keen to help with giving advice on places to visit. The checking in process was easy and it was extremely easy to contact the host if there were any queries. This was our second stay at the cottage and certainly won’t be our last. We didn’t want to come home!

Beautiful location, lovely spacious cottage and great walking. So nice to see chickens and geese and horses. Very comfortable for our family of six and very well stocked kitchen, complete with fresh eggs. Definitely recommend, I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you!

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful location. The cottage has everything needed for travellers, including dishwasher and washing machine. Llandogo is a quiet village in easy reach of all attractions of the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Anchor Inn at Tintern Abbey is a great pub with excellent food only 5 mins drive away.

We loved our family stay here - 6 adults and 4 dogs were all comfortably accommodated. Very dog friendly. Great location right by the River and beautiful walks from the doorstep. We walked to the Kymin (steep to begin with, but fantastic views), along the riverside and visited Symonds Yat on our last day. The cottage is deceptively large and beautifully decorated with a lovely garden (terraced) to relax in. The hosts were very helpful and responsive when booking. 2 local pubs and the lovely town of Monmouth less than a 10 minute drive away. Would not hesitate to recommend!

Lovely clean spacious with great choice of bed linen. Soak and sleep white cotton. Comfortable beds. Great shower downstairs. I didn’t use the upstairs one to say. Well stocked kitchen Lovely coffee machine Peaceful with good outdoor space.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! A stunning place, with everything you’d need and more for a super homely, comfortable stay. Gareth left us some fresh milk, bread and cookies and had a fridge and kitchen full of essentials. The beds were so comfortable. What a luxurious stay! Parking was easy and communication with Gareth was great.

Fantastic place, great vibe, and lots of kitties to hang with. Loved the quality of the place, it was done with care, not a slap dash money making scheme. Wished we stayed longer than one day. Do NOT hesitate to book.

A lovely place to stay — perfect for me and my two dogs, with a safe enclosed garden where they could roam freely. The cottage was well-equipped throughout, especially the kitchen which had everything I needed. It’s a great base for exploring, with easy access to outdoor activities and local amenities like the town centre and shops. The host was really friendly, checked in to see if I needed anything, and even suggested some great dog walks nearby. The only slight challenge was parking outside, which was a bit tight with a larger car — but manageable overall.

My friend and I had a great weekend staying at Granary Cottage 1. It was bigger than we expected, very comfortable, the surroundings are beautiful, great to have the old tea barn on site! We did lots of walking straight from the cottage, it is in a fab location. Antony was really helpful with any queries we had, we definitely recommend staying here.

Clare's cottage was perfect for our stay. It was very comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. The location is just fantastic for exploring the wonderful valley with all it's natural wonder, and coming home to a warm fire was great.

We had a fantastic week at the Coach House. Its a great spot from which to explore the beautiful Wye Valley and Forest of Dean and Tintern itself is a lovely, peaceful place. The cottage itself was perfect for our little family of three and the hosts were always very responsive when we did have a question.

Gorgeous cottage in beautifully peaceful surroundings and walking routes from the doorstep. We loved staying here despite rain and the beautifully kept private gardens that guests can access on Thursdays are just lovely to walk around with birdsong all around you. We enjoyed the guest gardens with views to the distant Brecon hills when we had a quiet moment. Very easy to find and Alastair provides excellent additional information on restaurants, walks and local amenities. You are only 30 mins from Hay on Wye and other lovely places.

We had a lovely few days here. It looked even better than the pictures! Very clean and everything you could need had been thought of. A really good location for exploring the local area. Will hopefully be back again soon!

Station House has been sympathetically restored and its history is well documented in the many photographs dotted around the place. It’s also a wonderful little oasis for visitors and wildlife alike with lots to explore right on the door step. Station House is 100% recommended for anyone looking for some R & R.

Such a wonderful stay. We were particularly delighted by the ponies in the field just outside the back door. The cottage had everything we needed and the location was lovely and rural but a very easy journey from Cardiff. Thank you for a lovely time!
