The Globe’s Flat

The Globe is a CAMRA Award winning, wet sales only, real ale & live music pub in the the medieval wool town of Clare. The flat is directly above & has it's own front door to stairs leading to kitchenette with fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle & toaster, bathroom with power shower, sitting room & 2 connected bedrooms. Dogs are welcome, but must be pre-booked. Expect noise from the pub whilst open! We shut by 11pm every day except Sunday when we have live music from 2pm - 5pm, then shut at 7pm.

This is a unique and tranquil getaway. You will have 2 bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting room, and a terrace facing beautiful lakes. There are 5 acres for walks, securely fenced up. We charge an additional £30 for pets, service pets free of charge. Beautiful old small town Clare is just 0.5 miles away.

We are 2 minutes from Melford’s main Street but on the edge of the countryside, which offers some wonderful walks. Kentwell Hall, Melford Hall, the lovely Holy Trinity Church, 2 antique warehouses, 8 pubs with restaurants and numerous tea shops are all within walking distance. Lavenham and Clare are only a short drive away. Breakfast is an option in our country kitchen @ £12pp
