Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Penang Island

We stayed here for a month and had a great time. The beach view was great and we had live music from the beach bars and fireworks each night (for more than 4 weeks). Maybe that had to do with Chinese New Year, but it actually went on after CNY as well. Communication was excellent, there was a helpful representative who was almost always nearby and ready to assist with some very small issues we had. The security guys were very friendly to our kids and would accept packages that were delivered for us when we were out. The only significant point of improvement I see is that a bit more attention should be paid to the cleaning.

We loved staying at this Airbnb listing! The apartment is super cute and clean, and located in a very walkable area. There were lots of stores and restaurants nearby so it was very convenient for us during our stay. The host was very friendly and communicative as well. We will remember this place again for any future trips.

We enjoyed our stay at Straitsquay. The Suite was clean and the bed very comfortable. We went swimming every day in one of the 3 Pools in the Complex. The Supermarket is very near and lots of international restaurants downstairs. Our Host - Johnson was very reliable, helpful and kind.

Super location; quiet apartment and homely. Offers everything one might need for a leisurely visit. Will be happy to return.

Overall experience for staying here is good and nice, the place is clean and tidy, we feel very comfortable when we stay inside.

Well located and quiet. The condo had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The pool is terrific and the gym has most of what is needed for a good workout. Strong wifi and plenty of fans - a/c units.

地点非常赞，整个房间可以住8个人，特别适合朋友出行。有一整个落地窗可以看日出，屋里的各种家电非常完善。房东沟通及时，楼下有保安住着放心

Karen’s place felt like home. She is a thoughtful and friendly host, her home was clean and she provided a lot of useful household items. The check in and check out process were easy to follow. The amenities were as described. We enjoyed using the pool on level 8 and checking out the views from the rooftop garden area on level 38.

Very good apartment in superb location close to good restaurants and the beach. Would have no hesitation staying if we visit Penang again. Patrick & Brenda

The place looks better than in the photos provided. They have very comfy and clean beds and we slept like a baby. It is very easy to navigate to the parking lot and our lodging area. Great for family to stay at since it is inside city area. Very recommended.

I had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The view was absolutely stunning — a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The host was friendly and responsive, which made everything super smooth. Would definitely recommend and love to come back!

My family and I were so happy and enjoy to stay here. Clean, spacious and confortable place to have holiday break. Only the water pressure at shower room can be improved. Water pressure too low. Otherwise, it is perfect..

Generally the apartment is good. Location around 10min away by cab from the old Georgetown places. Only gripe is that during peak season, having only 4 lifts to serve 40+ levels of residents means having to wait quite a bit for lift during peak hours. Host is quite friendly and accommodating though, so no complaints

Best place to stay for staycation. Nice and clean. have 2 car parks, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Able to cook, have nice beds and large living room hall. Quite place to sleep. Fast internet connection

The manager of the condo was extremely helpful and friendly, which was one of the main reasons why I stayed a long period .. especially, since my stay was practically for work and his assistant was very much appreciated. They have a tight security, which made me feel more assured since I didn’t have any company. The location of the apartment for me was superb ( approximately 10 min away from queensbay mall by car) and you get beautiful view with the apartment . The apartment is clean and well kept , however the furniture is old (couch has stains and bed sheets sometimes with tears), I bet If it was refurbished, I wouldn’t be able to recommend it enough. In my case, I got passed this issue as other advantages were more of a priority to me; the helpful responsive manager (Mahbur) , security, location. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.
