The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

A wet-weather creek is just behind the house, with a rock bluff and fire pit. There is a foos ball table and massage chair for your enjoyment after a day of hiking. The Hideaway is located 3 miles from Carver Landing. You'll be within easy access to SO MANY gorgeous places, including the national park. There is a second home on the property that can also be booked.

Located centrally to Newton County's finest recreation, Red Cedar Cabin offers unparalleled access no matter your activity of interest. Bordering the Ozark National Forest, the property has a small pond, approximately 2 acres of park-like grounds around the cabin, and several ATV trails. Nearby, canoe the Buffalo River, explore multiple waterfalls, hike Pedestal Rocks Scenic Area, swim at Falling Water Falls, ride your ATV on miles of forest trails and backroads, and visit scenic towns of Jasper, Harrison, and Marshall.

My husband and I have enjoyed this cozy, peaceful cabin for several years until we built our new cabin home next door. We absolutely love this place and confident you will too! We are off Hwy 327 about 3/4 mile down a gravel road. 4x4 or all wheel only to prevent spinning uphill. The cabin is 8 miles from Jasper and 2 miles from Parthenon.

Our cheerful, quiet and private a-frame style cabin is only 25 miles from the Buffalo National River with canoeing, swimming, and other activities. It is 6 miles from the Richland Creek Wilderness and about 8 miles from Falling Water creek, and 12 miles from Richland Creek Campground where the trail head starts for Richland Falls and Twin Falls. It is 25 miles from Marshall, 45 miles from Clinton and Walmart. We are only 1.5 hours from Branson MO, or Eureka Springs AR, or Ponca AR.

Enjoy this cozy cabin nestled in the heart of the Ozarks. With a view of Lost Valley and beyond, the front porch is a nice place to relax and unwind!
