Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Pelican Lake

We always have a wonderful time at Ron and Mindy's home. Always comfortable, plenty of room, really enjoy space to park boats and trailers. We love the privacy and the peaceful surroundings. The new updated deck and beds were wonderful and so comfortable! We always recommend them to others, fabulous hosts! Thank you as always!

Accessibility is a priority for me so having a zero entry entrance for wheelchair access was great. There is a single step (about 2") from the main entrance to the family room on the main level. Kitchen unfortunately was on the upper level, however, we were able to make do with some adjustments on our end that didn't impact qaulity time for dinner. The yard was navigable in a wheelchair as well and was able to get to the pier. There is a lot of amenities for entertainment for everyone, like ping pong, cornhole and darts. There's also a decent size play house that was thoroughly enjoyed as well. The lake is pretty shallow where the dock is, and a lot of lily pads so shore fishing was difficult without the correct lures. You can find panfish and bass, too. DNR unfortunately doesnt have too much info on the type of fish in this lake, however, thats what I saw. Host is communciative, responsive, and flexible within reason of any requests and felt greatful for them for it.

Thalina’s house was very nice! The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was very nice! She responded quickly to any questions I had. She was very understanding when we had to check out early because of family matters.

Everyone loved it! I fell asleep on the hammock chair while reading a book and enjoying the weather 😴

This charming cabin was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway! The inside was very cozy and super clean. The backyard area was so peaceful and we loved having the fire pit, dock, and kayaks right there! Overall we had an amazing stay and will forsure be re-booking.

This was our first Airbnb and it did not disappoint! The cabin was even better than the pictures! In fact, it was so nice we chose to eat there for all our meals instead of go out! I didn’t want to leave. Nice WiFi connection and was able to remote in to work when needed. Hot tub was clean and modern. Kids were able to swim and try fishing off the dock. Many of the items in the “cabin” were even better than what I have at home. Thank you for a great experience. 😊

Beautiful location. Great accommodation and closer to the wedding we were attending in Hill City than were hotels in Grand Rapids. Very clean. Loved it!

We had a great time at our stay! Renae is a fantastic house and made us feel right at home. She was very responsive if we had any questions and was extremely friendly. We recommend staying here if you are in the area! Our dog also loved her stay here!

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this location. It really does feel comfortable. Location is perfect if you are looking to stay in Brainerd and never had a problem getting parking right in front of building. Will book again next time I’m visiting. Thanks Christy!!

Overall a nice place, very clean and no major issues. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils/ pots and pans. Linens were clean and even had a few extra blankets. Only 4 sets of towels but seeing you had laundry, this wasn't an issue. Finishes are builder basic, maybe a little better but work just fine for a cabin stay. Just know if you are staying in this clubhouse area, other guests have access to the building/common areas which are only separated by a basic glass interior door with a blind. The exercise room/common space shares a wall with the master bedroom so you can hear people coming and going to the hot tub/sauna. Not as private as you might like but if you know that going in or rent both cabins, not a huge deal. Neighborhood was quiet and only a 4 min drive to downtown Nisswa. Check out responsibilities are minimal and easy to follow with the provided guide. Overall it was a nice stay and Chad was very responsive. Wouldn't hesitate renting from Chad again. Thanks!

1. Favorite: The beds were super comfy… u will get a great night sleep any of the 4 beds that are here… we all loved it. The beds were amazing.. High-lights: 2. Good time snowmobiling and ice fishing on the lake. 3. Relaxing in the hot tub at 10pm, 20° outside with many stars in the sky…

We had a great time at the house! So peaceful, relaxing, beautiful. You can tell the owner uses the property as well because all details were given extra thought and attention. Within 15 min to great golfing and restaurants. Caught several fish off of the private dock and had fun exploring the lake on the kayaks. Enjoyed warming up by the fire pit and in the hot tub. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing weekend at Kent and Paula’s cabin. Beautiful trails and an even more beautiful cabin to cozy up in during the chilly days! Plenty of firewood and towels/linens in case we needed it. LOVED the little bottle of maple syrup, thank you for that!! 10/10 experience, will visit again!

Bob and Nicole have a wonderful cabin in a lovely spot on a fantastic lake, and to boot are extremely hospitable hosts. They clearly have every detail down, communicate well, and are very friendly. This is a place I can very easily see booking again if possible. Very much enjoyed the stay, highly recommended.

We had a great stay at Nicks beautiful cabin. Nick was extremely responsive and made sure our stay was great and we had everything we needed. The cabin is in a very convenient but also feels private. It's close to Nisswa but you feel as if you are far away once you are at the property. Was the perfect place to stay for a true but comfortable cabin experience.

We had a lovely stay at Ryan and Kate's cabin. It was our first family trip with our little one and the place had everything we needed and wished for. It's literally next to the lake and even though we were super unlucky with the weather, the view was just amazing. Inside we had everything we needed for our little one (e.g., crib, high-chair) and the cabin itself was furnished with so much taste and thoughtful details. Can definitely recommend this place!
