Restaurants are about 1-3 km away. The numerous lakes can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. Munich, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Augsburg, Füssen (royal castles) are about 40-60 km away. Enjoy your stay in the foothills of the Alps.

A break in the mountains

Our apartment (in a 3-family house) in the basement, is located between Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in the middle of the “Pfaffenwinkel.“ The optimal starting point for numerous excursions to sights or also sporting activities such as hiking or cycling. Larger shopping facilities can be found in Weilheim, Peißenberg or Murnau. In addition, a natural swimming pond with a small Kneipp facility is about 1 km away and allows spontaneous refreshment at any time of the day

The large window front with balcony offers a wonderful view of the surrounding meadows and the pilgrimage church Maria Aich. Peißenberg is an ideal base for exploring the sights in the Pfaffenwinkel and Fünf-Seenland. City tours to the state capital Munich are also easy to undertake due to the good train connection also easy to do.

Our holiday home is a spacious, light-flooded, detached architectural house with a large roof terrace and a purist garden on a hillside. The roof terrace offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Alps and the Zugspitze. Our house offers you a fully equipped open-space kitchen. For relaxation, an infrared steam cabin and a hot tub are available for free use. The house is climate-friendly with PV system, battery storage and air heat pump.

Ideal as a starting point for trips - also to Stoa169: In the Upper Bavarian Oberland, south of Munich, lies our newly built and modernly furnished granny flat in the historic monastery village of Polling. The separate area with its own entrance offers 18 m2 of space for two people with everything you need, as well as a small terrace with garden. A covered parking space and a garage for parking and loading bicycles or skis is included.
