It is as advertised. Old, inexpensive place to rest on your way by. They were very nice. Could be a little less expensive. There is an additional fee for your pet that isn't on airbnb. It was only $10, but it was still unexpected.

Mary Bell’s place was exactly what we needed! The Airbnb is not only cozy and charming—set in a converted clinic-hospital with tons of history—but it’s also perfectly located near all the best Alpine attractions and restaurants. Plus, it’s a super manageable drive to the Big Bend area. Mary Bell had everything ready for us, including local recommendations waiting by the front door. We loved the thoughtful touches and the unique character of the space. If you stay here, consider donating to help preserve this historic building . Will go back here when i come back to West Texas

For out in the middle of the desert it was a decent place to rest during a long drive.

Good spot and host was very responsive and answered all my questions. Check in and check out is very smooth and simple. Was able to get pizza delivered to my room that’s how easy it is to find. Loved this place for the night for my partner and I. Everything was clean and tidy, quiet area, comfortable beds. I would stay again when I pass through. Thanks again Mohammad.

Love the history behind this historic hospital-turned-AirBnb, and that it’s still being run by the physician-founder’s cordial daughter is icing on the cake! The simple room was tastefully appointed & blissfully quiet, the bed was quite comfortable, and the central location—close to restaurants, book stores, bars, and walkable to the Sul Ross campus—was absolutely ideal for me. I definitely plan to stay again in the future.

An authentic Marfa experience! Our family of 8 (ages 25 to 87) rented the entire property and loved every moment. Each room had its own unique personality, echoing the Marfa/Donald Judd style. The #5 was perfect for shared meals, with high-quality cookware, an induction stove, and a Vitamix – everything needed for memorable family dinners around the outdoor fireplace. The courtyard became our favorite spot to paint, read, and relax. We enjoyed the sauna, cold plunge, and the outdoor tub. Thoughtful touches like wool blankets, art books, and stylish tableware made the stay feel luxurious. The Sentinel coffee shop is just down the street, and the roaring train adds to the charm. A beautiful and peaceful place to gather – we highly recommend it!

Great location, close to the highway.

If you believe that everything in this world counts, than this is the spot for you. I cannot think of one detail overlooked in this amazing hotel. An old radio was playing in the room upon check in tuned to one of the best commercial free radio stations I have ever heard in my life. That is attention to detail l, and belief that everything matters. The space itself is living art and the hosts kind and informative. This was a last minute stop and one that would have been sorely missed. Marfa the town is a testament to a different way to live, to acknowledge art is love and life, and the motel situates itself perfectly within this beautiful and inspiring community. We hope to return to west Texas and would absolutely stay here again

Great place and great location! Booked all the rooms with a group of friends for a wedding. Very convenient and fun for a group. Loved the outdoor bathtub - bought bags of ice and did cold plunges in it. Host was responsive throughout stay and after when we forgot something - very helpful! The long automated messages with links were a bit confusing but we figured that out - look for the photos of the key boxes to get in.

This place is perfect and I’ve stayed a lot of places in marfa & will be returning here! So clean and very Marfa esq. the kitchenette sets it apart from other hotels but gives the hotel energy still.

The location and space were amazing. Perfect home base to explore Marfa from.

This cabin was perfect! Super clean, cozy, very close to a lot of great places and very safe. Definitely coming back!

Josh and the staff at the Cafe were awesome! Very friendly and helpful. The Cafe has great food and service. The area is bbeautiful and very quiet! Loved our stay!

Bhavana was the name of the receptionist when we checked in. She was the absolute sweetest! everyone at the hotel was super attentive and always asking how our stay was and if there was anything the could do to help or make the stay better. The breakfast selection were good, the rooms just remodeled, the pool was SOOOO clean! you can't beat the price! I highly recommend booking here!

We have stayed at several AirBnb's for fun and for business. This is one of our absolute favorites. The interior and exterior common areas are perfect for relaxing and interacting with new friends, friends and family. And who doesn't love pickelball!!!

Zach was very welcoming, responsive and provide accurate description of his place. The location is perfect for travelers, the restaurant downstairs has great service!

Definitely don't want to miss the Mayhill hotel or cafe. Nice comfortable bed and private bathroom on the hall. I had one of the most delicious lunches of my life downstairs at the cafe. Thanks for the hospitality Josh!
