Cabin holiday rentals in Pecos River

Eric was exceptional at keeping in touch with us! He had some great recommendations and we felt right at home. It was private feeling though other cabins were around and nature surrounded us. We were auditioned to see deer and elk right in the neighborhood that showed no signs of alarm as we watched them! We were on the go a lot so didn’t get to enjoy ALL the amenities provided, but had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to escape for a few days or longer! We will use again and bring family!

This is a nice place to get away and be close to everything in the town especially walking distance to downtown! We loved this place and it was really clean and had lots of normal home use things you have available to use if you need them. Internet was good and had plenty of channels on the tv also all the check in and instructions was easy to follow and simple to do. We would come back and rent this place again.

We absolutely loved staying in this cabin. The location is easy to get to, yet secluded enough to feel like it’s in the trees. The patio is where we spent the majority of our time grilling and just hanging out. The kitchen is beautiful and has all the essentials for cooking a great meal, or just having a morning coffee. The bedroom downstairs was a pleasant surprise for our inlaws, it was private and it allowed them to have time away from the “main” part of the house. This cabin is cozy and exactly what we were looking for. The communication from the host was phenomenal. When we come back to Ruidoso, we will definitely be staying here. Thank you SO much.

This listing needs better photos or a video because they don’t do justice to how spacious and amazing this place really is. It’s super clean, and the grill is connected to a gas line, which made grilling easy without having to worry about propane. I brought my six kids and we had an absolute blast. The game room was a hit, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The jacuzzi, 2.5 bathrooms, and two kitchen tables make it perfect for large groups. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The host was very responsive and helpful. Great location. The home is in walking distance of Downtown Ruidoso. The hot tub was so nice and relaxing. It was a very nice stay.

We had a great time here. Super clean, comfy beds & nice linens. Lots to do within less than 10 min drive. Sweet deer in the yard in the mornings & evenings. We enjoyed the hot tub and great game room w/ pool table & foosball. Would come back again:)

Clean, comfortable, beautiful space. The cabin is on the small size but organized so efficiently, it works very well. Great storage for clothes and whatnot. Gorgeous deck; wish we could have spent more time watching the quaking aspen trees.

it was a great little get away from the city. Nice little cabin had toys for my kids to play with and enough space for all of us and some!!

Susan is a great host. She provided all the info needed for our stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. When we needed something (only one request as the cabin is well stocked!), she responded promptly to our request. We will be staying at J’s Cottage anytime we are in Cloudcroft.

Rebecca was a great host. Very flexible and accommodating. She allowed for a flexible check-in, although it wasn’t utilized, it was nice to have that option available. She sent directions with pictures to the cabin, and due to there being no mobile phone reception, she even met us there at the time of the check in to ensure we were able to enter the property. The cabin was quaint and cozy.

If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway this is it! The cabin is very cozy in the middle of the forest. The bed is very comfortable, comfy recliners, and full kitchen. Some things to keep in mind; the parking situation is fairly tricky and a steep walk but you get used to it after a while. The stair case inside is a little scary at first but then you get used to it. We did lose water on our last day but Matt was very helpful and responsive. Matt was great at communicating with us.

We’ve stayed here many times. It is our favorite AirBnb and we just love coming.

Mekayla's property made my first trip to Ruidoso relaxing and comfortable after enjoying the outdoors. The property is extremely tidy and well kept with a crisp and modern twist. Pinetum was the perfect weekend retreat. Peaceful, cozy, and everything you’d hope for in a cabin getaway. The space is beautifully designed with thoughtful touches throughout, creating a warm, restful atmosphere. We especially loved the outdoor areas—soaking under the trees was a highlight. We’d love to come back for another restful weekend away from Santa Fe!

My wife and I were worried that it was going to be too small, converted storage shed. We were pleasantly surprised when we unlocked the door and walked in! The place is very nice and very cozy. BIG TV, very nice bathroom and kitchen. The bed is extremely comfortable. There was a wonderful restaurant 1/4 mile away. With ponds, decks and Peacocks, full bar and excellent food. We will definitely be staying there again if we are in the Lubbock area, quiet peaceful and you might have a prairie dog wish you off.

There were a lot of features that our family relished. Having meals on the porch was peaceful, playing ping-pong and darts was a blast with our teenagers, and three of us took turns relaxing in the big, beautiful bathtub. On the last evening, two deer grazed in the backyard for quite awhile. The set-up of the cabin is thoughtfully designed so that spaces have what guests need and want. We love this cabin!
