Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Paynesville

It was a wonderful family stay at Metung closer to the Hot Springs. Lot of appliances and essentials are provided at the home. It was a memorable stay for a large group of family and friends.

Spectacular! This place was even better than the pictures, reviews and description. It suited our family perfectly with plenty of space, yet great areas where we could come together as well. The wildlife was amazing and I could have sat out on the daybed the whole stay just watching nature! The kids had plenty to do and were able to get their short fix of screens in their down time. We can not recommend Andrew and Hilary's place highly enough, it was just perfect for us in every way! I really hope we can get back there one day! Mel and Mark (Qld)

Nice place. Slightly tricky to get into the drive way. Beautiful kitchen with all amenities. Relaxing lounge. Short walk to to restaurant and shops.

The home felt inviting and interesting. The instructions for lights, water, local restaurants etc were really helpful. We loved all of the views, and the seclusion behind lots of trees, we stayed upstairs. The 20 minute walk to town was glorious by the river, we loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. thankyou Ingrid.

Good location, short walk to nice cafe, shop, pub and water. Spacious and bright living area. Kitchen has everything you need plus some nice extras in the pantry Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Metung

We discovered a new dream location at Lake Tyers Beach. A perfect spot to walk the dogs and the walk to red bluff is beautiful and not too challenging. The general store just down the road has great coffee and the food at the Tavern was delicious. Sarah was friendly and communicative and the house was so charming and comfortable. We particularly loved the outdoor bath and little alfresco bbq area with fairy lights. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was so dark we reset our circadian rhythms! Shout out also to the locals who were really friendly with a steady stream of “g’day” as we meandered through their little town. We’ll be back!

We had a lovely time staying here. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. It had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. One big plus—when we accidentally locked ourselves out, Tom responded within 5 minutes and guided us through what to do. Super helpful and kind, which made all the difference. Highly recommend!

Excellent as always. 4th year in a row we’ve been coming here for our annual fishing trip. The house is always clean and is in a wonderful location. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay, comfortable and clean villa with great facilities for the kids. We enjoyed the daily walk into town for coffee, a quick wander across the road to throw a line in and 5 min drive to Metung Hot Springs. Overall we had a fabulous time in Metung and will be back. Thank you for having us!

Our stay at Acacia lodge was very relaxing and comfortable. The weather wasn’t quite suited to sitting out on the several balconies but we hope to experience that when we next visit. Great amenities and being able to cross the road and amble along the boardwalk into town was just delightful. We would highly recommend visiting both Metung and staying at Acacia Lodge.
